I was the only one ordering. It took a 15 minutes to get 2 subs. I took my bag they gave me and went back to work. They gave me the entire wrong order. Not even close. I'm in Florida visiting my sister with my daughter who has Celiac Disease. Jersey Mikes is our Go-To for GF safe food for my child. The service at this particular location was so bad, my daughter wouldn't eat her sub. The girl who took our order refused to use the safe area to prepare her sub and wouldn't change her gloves when I asked her to, after picking up a bottle from the gluten area. She cross contaminated my child's sub. My sister who lives here ordered over $50 and the girl didn't even put her order in a bag....the woman who works here day shift is not a good employee for this franchise, which we love. read more

Worst Jersey Mike's we've ever been in. Ordered a large, they cut it in half immediately and treated it as 2 regular sandwiches and charged accordingly. Questioned what they actually put on, to the point my husband questioned the person who made the sandwich, but she insisted it was correct. The finisher drowned it in "juice" and I mean drowned that the roll was soggy by the time we sat down to eat. Did not have soft drinks on tap. Claimed no CO2, so why were they not repairing the unit. The person checking us out couldn't even articulate correctly what they had to offer to drink. Never going back to this location . WORST SERVICE in the villages! If I could give zero starts I would! None of the workers actually want to be there! We asked for two simple BLT with Mayo and we're sent home two subs with bacon Mayo only no lettuce no tomatoes!?!?!? We paid over $20 for bread bacon and Mayo! I'm actually pissed! You are wasting your time placing an online order at this location. I placed on order at 9:26 am for a 12:15 pickup. I received the email telling me my order was ready just as I walked in the door. I stood at the pickup window for 10 minutes and was just ignored. I finally caught the attention of a woman at the register who roodly told me my order was not ready at just get in line behind the other 8 waling in customers. During this time a Door Dash delivery came in and was waited on at the pickup window where they proceeded to make that order. They were in total carouse as they had no system to fill online orders as they came in. If my order wasn't prepaid, I would walk out right there and then. I finally got my order at 12:45. I have been going to that store for about 4 years now but won't be returning any time soon. Ther are plenty of sub shops in the area. read more

Very unhappy with my order yesterday. I ordered one giant and three regular subs. The bread was definitely over baked, very hard and dry. I ask for nothing on the subs and they were kind enough to put the sides in a tub. By later that evening after being refrigerated the lettuce had already started turning brown.! They were very on organized and it seemed that only one person had to control everything. The one woman taking your orders for the sides was not very nice at all. I will stick to the Jersey Mike's. Called my order ahead and I walked in and saw it on the counter in back. Everyone seemed very busy so I waited until an employee came to the cash register with an order for someone else and got her attention and asked for my order. She spoke to me but just dashed to the back of the shop. I waited for the next sandwich maker to deliver the sandwich he was working on and got my order. The setup doesn't seem organized for call ahead or online orders so when they might be busy I'll go somewhere else. Subs are average. Bread options are limited to white and wheat. Even the walmart of sub joints, subway, has several bread options. The ingredients are fresh and I suppose the idea of slicing the goods while you watch reinforces the fresh idea. A turnoff for me was the whole tip option was in your face. I'm not sure what I'm actually tipping for. Does Jersey Mike's not pay the folks competitive wages? It's not like this is a sit down restaurant where the waiter/waitress makes several trips to the table. These folks are making a sub. They do wear plastic gloves which is appreciated and I suspect corporate policy. Do I tip them for making it with more enthusiasm than not. Quite frankly I would prefer they be paid sufficiently and the tip option be opted out altogether. It was enough of a turnoff where I won't be back and they won't be recommended to fam and friends. Jersey mikes is by far my favorite sub shop and the staff at the lady lake location is always so friendly and accommodating. I have a 1 1/2 yr old and as we were in line they sliced her a piece a cheese to eat while I waited for my sub to be made so she could be patient because she was ready to eat! I go to JM about 4 times a month when snowboarding in the villages. I always get the same thing a cheese steak loaded with everything. I like the cheese steaks a lot and have enjoyed each and everyone. I have not had any better than these in The Villages but it does not taste as good as those I have had in the Philly area or those down on the shore but still very good read more
