I am loving this place! I am a huge fan of chicken salad and couldn't wait for Chicken Salad Chick to open. They have a meal deal "The chick" where you get either a sandwich or a scoop and then a side. To get the most bang for your buck, order a sandwich and then get a scoop of chicken salad as your side. The chick also comes with a pickle and a yummy little cookie. The first time I went I tried the classic carol (original) on a croissant and got a scoop of the kickin kay lynn as my side. I was pretty full and couldn't even finish the whole sandwich. I loved the kickin kay lynn, it had a kick to it but it wasn't too spicy. I enjoyed my sandwich but as far as the original chicken salad goes, I would have to say that La Madeline's probably tops it. However, getting to choose from fun flavors certainly goes a long way for me. The second time I came back, I ordered the kickin kay lynn sandwich with a side of the chicken florentine soup which was also very good. I got a small order of the sassy scotty to bring home to my fiance and we really enjoyed that as well. The staff seems super friendly and they walk around to see if they can get you anything. read more

Just discovered this place. I really love chicken salad, so this is a great place for me. Pretty expensive, but there's a decent rewards program if you download the app. I wouldn't get the classic one because it's pretty plain, especially if you get it on a sandwich. The scoops go a long way, I just wish they would give you a stack of crackers instead of having to open each individual package. Each meal comes with a frosting covered cookie, which is not even worth eating. read more

Met a new friend here for lunch today. The general manager happened to be taking the orders. He was very nice and accommodating. My new friend is pregnant and was having a really hard time deciding on what to order. He was very patient with her and offered up samples to soothe her pregnancy blues. He smiled the whole time and made us feel welcomed. The food was great. I had the south chicken salad sandwich. It was fresh and so was the croissant. The fruit was also fresh. And I must mention the cookie treat, it was delicious. When we were wrapping up the meal, a member of staff offered to discard our trash. The restaurant was clean and so was the bathroom. I have tried the food once before picking up drive thru and was pleased. If you are looking for a healthy tasty choice in a sea of fast food, try the chicken salad chick. read more

Great alternative to "normal fast food" My favorite is the Olivia's Old South! They have a fabulous and easy to use rewards programs as well! I received a free meal for my birthday! The portion size definitely left a lot to be desired, especially for the price. I liked what I got, it just wasn't enough food for what I paid. I ordered the chicken salad with the grapes and Fuji apples. In the whole sandwich there was maybe 3 chunks of apple and 1 grape cut in half, however it did have good flavor. I ordered the mac & cheese as a side and that looked and tasted extremely fake. I will definitely give it another chance one they work out the kinks. read more

This place is the best!!!! So happy one opened in Mandeville. Came here the other day around lunch. Food is delicious and customer service is excellent! The girl helping me was so sweet and patient with me and even let me sample a few of their chicken salads. It was really busy and she took her time with me and even brought me my plate, refilled my drink without me asking (it's a self serve drink fountain) and helped me get a high chair for my daughter. I THINK her name was Amanda.. or amber. Something with an A! I know she wears glasses LOL! But she was wonderful and made my experience so pleasant. I ordered the cranberry kelly on toasted wheat with lettuce and tomato, and a side of broccoli salad and a side of grape salad. Everything was delicious and unique to anything I've ever had! I would've given this place a five star rating but the attitude of one waitress changed that... It was my first time eating here and I was unfamiliar with the menu. There's a deal on it where you can pick a "scoop" with two sides. It was unclear to me that a scoop means the chicken salad alone without the sandwich, so that's what I mistakingly ordered. When the girl came down to bring my food, I realized I ordered it wrong and informed her politely by telling her I was meaning to get a sandwich. Instead of apologizing or at least pretending to be friendly, she rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breath. She looked and sounded angry for no reason at all and I was absolutely appalled. I almost thought of complaining about it but I figured she probably had a long day. I then noticed her talking to a guy (who I assumed was her boyfriend) which I found distasteful in a setting with customers. My sister said she also saw her on her phone... I don't want to discredit the other employees because they were extremely friendly but I definitely got a bad taste in my mouth from her. I was hoping this place would be better than it was as I love chicken salad. I was not impressed. 1) The staff was not friendly nor did they greet me. 2) It was overpriced. Chicken salad mediocre. Croissant it was served on not good. Broccoli salad had no dressing on it. The cookie was the best part of my meal. I make better broccoli salad myself. To me this a one time place. This was my first visit to Chicken Salad Chicks and I was very very impressed. For my first visit, I stayed with the original very simple Classic Carol. It was excellent. Although it was lunch time and they were very busy, the service was excellent, everything was served with a smile. I will certainly become a regular. What a great, fresh luncheon choice. I tried this restaurant recently and totally enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich. It was served on toasted wheat bread with lettuce and tomatoes. The chicken salad was moist and flavorful. I also enjoyed the side selection of fruit salad that included strawberries, blueberries, green grapes and red grapes. I love this place! We went on a busy weekday at lunch time and the place was packed but our food was at our table less than 10 minutes later. I had Carols Old South which is just basic chicken salad with pickles and egg and it was soooo good. My fiancé had the chicken salad that is loaded with jalapeños (forgot the name) and his was amazing. Each meal comes with an iced sugar cookie that is delicious, I probably could've eaten 10 of them. We each got a side of mac n cheese and it was some of the best mac n cheese I've had at a restaurant. The service was also noteworthy. Nicholas rang us up and was great! He was patient with us since it was our first time and there was so much menu to read and he was incredibly polite and friendly. We will definitely be back. read more
