I ordered the Maui Mama Melt, which was very good! They did forget to add the cheese that was advertised on the sandwich, but it was still tasty. My sister tried the Classic Carol with tortilla soup, but unfortunately, the sandwich was pretty bland and could have used more seasoning. The loaded baked potato soup and grape salad were both delicious! The soups were served nice and hot, and the restaurant itself was very clean. Store was clean. Premise here is simply a number of variations of chicken salad. Purchased buffalo chicken, holly jalapeño, old Olivia, and basil. Overall there was not a very significant difference between flavor profiles. For 6 scoops of chicken salad at $40 would likely not return. Odd they didn't offer as sandwiches on different bread selections. You could get a croissant and if you did not they put the two scoops on romaine. This place is sooooo cute, I can't believe I've slept on it for so long. The ambience is fun, cozy, and nostalgic. The interior was clean and bright, and there were plenty of tables available even though it was busy. There were lots of staff, and it seemed like they aim for southern politeness and a high quality of service, like Chick-fil-A, although I think this place was better than most Chick-fil-A's. Georgia and Nicole were especially helpful and personable and called me by name. One thing that I think sets CSC apart from other similar restaurants is that they offer free unlimited samples. I got a sample of the lemon basil chicken salad, which was good, but I ultimately opted for classic. It was really good and didn't taste cheap (we'll see how my stomach handles it... I'm typically pretty sensitive to large amounts of highly-processed oils). My sides were fresh fruit and broccoli salad. The fruit was pretty good; there were a few overripe grapes but not bad for quick serve. The broccoli salad was pretty sweet - not my favorite but I still ate most of it, as the broccoli was fresh. I also got a flower cookie - deliciously buttery and vanilla-y - and a drink. Their peach tea hits just right! I ate my food slowly while I made some progress on a book and felt quite comfortable. 5 stars! Best lunch spot! So many different and delicious chicken salad varieties. The employees will happily give you a sample of any of them that you want to try. I purchased the classic Carol on a croissant with lettuce and tomato, and the total before tax was $7.59. For approximately three dollars more I could have upgraded to a combo. Please are also sweet and welcoming. I had one employee bring me two different samples while I was sitting enjoying my lunch. Chicken Salad Chick has so many great flavors and even soups and salads to go with their croissants or sandwiches. I love that this location is bright and cheery with a clean exterior and interior, as it is in a newly built area. Parking is aplenty in this plaza. The drive thru is also much welcomed, as the times I've driven thru the service is fast. Being a fast casual concept, they have plenty of seating inside and counter service. I typically take my order to-go and ordering in-app or at the counter have been good experiences. I like that you can order anything from a single scoop of chicken salad to a full meal and even tubs of your favorite flavor. I've tried almost every single flavor on the menu, and have come to a conclusion that my favorites are the Cranberry Kelli (with cranberries and almonds), the Fruity Fran (with apples, grapes, and pineapples), and the Classic Carol (with celery and secret seasoning). I can't say I didn't enjoy some of their savory flavors like Barbie Q (sweet yet smoky) or Sassy Scotty (ranch, bacon, cheddar), but do find them a bit too salty. They always include a nice amount of crackers to go with all the food so that's a plus. As for their quick chicks (tubs of chicken salad), they have been great for making meals out of it at home or for work. However, I've noticed that they have quite a short refrigerator life and have gone sour multiple times, over the course of just a few days. I also have seen bits of chicken that have a lot of off-putting texture (stringy, chewy, inedible, stretchy, white). So yes, you'll know its real chicken and it is fresh made/packed, but too much gristle or cartilage is gross. There are also bones in the mixture that are roughly an inch long...ouch. If you're serving some to your kids, be careful! Service at this location is super friendly and efficient! Great customer service and they'll have your order ready in minutes. read more

I really wanted to love Chicken Salad Chick because the food is genuinely good. I finally decided to try it after seeing so many great reviews on TikTok, and my first two visits were excellent. Unfortunately, my last two visits have been disappointing. Both times, I specifically asked for no pickles, but pickle juice was still in my box. If you don't like pickles, you know that the juice gets into everything and changes the taste. I even considered just buying the chicken salad by the container instead of ordering the scoop meal to avoid the issue, but that costs more money. Today, I checked my order before leaving, and I could immediately smell pickles. I ended up getting a refund. The staff refunded me, but they didn't seem very concerned about what had happened. I spent a little over $50.00 for two people, with a slice of cake and a cookie in addition to our meals. It's disappointing because the chicken salad is really good, and the cookies are absolutely delicious. I wanted this to become one of my favorite places, but after two bad experiences in a row, I'll probably just start making chicken salad at home instead. read more

Finally tried one of these chains and have to say, it didn't live up to all the hype, for me. They do have a lot of chicken salad options, but it definitely wouldn't be in my lunch rotation. The combo comes with either a soup or side. I got the croissant and it was big, dry and cold. The ratio of the chicken salad was also very minimal that I got. The free mini cookie also was too sweet for me. I know a lot of people enjoy it here so maybe I'm just not the clientele for this- worth a try though! Overall, the experience was ok but idk if it's that each place operates/prepares menu items differently or what but my order didn't quite reach the level of satisfaction I'm used to. Here are the changes I noticed: 1. Their ice is different! May seem little but it's a big deal! The location I typically visit prides itself on having the "good" ice! You know that soft, yet crunchy...sonic ice. 2. I ordered the chicken salad ...now again I don't know if it's a franchise thing but my croissant is usually toasted! Again, it may seem like a minor thing, but it's the little things like this that make a world of difference. 3. The lemonade!!!! Now I like both but favor their original! I don't know who made it, but the recipe was off! It was watery and needed more lemon ! Again, not what I'm accustomed to. I'll double back in a few weeks! I ate at the Woodlands location a month ago, so when I was at the doctor (Hwy 6/1092), I found this location. This location seems and looks pretty new. I love the chicken salad with cranberries and almonds on the wheat berry bread. I visited the Missouri City restaurant on 1/27. I ordered the scoop combo and as I was eating I noticed a piece of plastic in the chicken salad. When I reported this to the assistant store manager on duty at the time (Fabby). She was very nonchalant regarding the situation and responded that she would inform the kitchen to be more careful going forward. There was no concern that there was a foreign object in my food and I could have swallowed a piece of plastic. Although I was near the end of my salad but not finished, the manager did not even offer a replacement. I was disappointed that there was something in my food but even more disappointed with the customer service and treatment. I submitted a complaint to the corporate office and was informed that it was escalated to franchise owner but I never received a response from the local owner. read more

First of all, the young lady at the cash register was very friendly and helpful. I love chicken salad and was impressed with all the choices I could pick from. I chose the plain chicken salad which was really yummy. It came with wheat crackers on the side and an awesome cookie that I would buy a dozen of on its own.
