I had the Classic Carol and Dixie Chick chicken salads and the Broccoli Salad today and yesterday from this Chicken Salad Chick location in Johns Creek/Suwanee. The food was okay/good. Not bad at all. We got the small "Quick Chick" versions of the chicken salads: * Classic Carol ($6.99) - Chicken Salad Chick's signature chicken salad; all white meat, shredded chicken, finely minced celery, mayonnaise, and "secret" seasoning * Dixie Chick ($6.99) - "an onion-lover's delight" and "the only one with onions" * Broccoli Salad (large size, $8.99) - broccoli florets tossed in a sweet vinegar-based dressing with shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, topped with crispy bacon All of these salads were grab-and-go. They were fresh and tasty enough. I love onions and thought I would like the Dixie Chick better than the Classic Carol, but it's the other way around. The Classic Carol was solid and I can see why it's the company's signature chicken salad. It's well balanced and satisfying with an appetizing texture. The Dixie Chick was fine, but a bit too intense for me; not in an oniony way, but in an oily way. My wife, surprisingly, liked the Dixie Chick more than me. Note: The Dixie Chick is pungent so you might not want to open it at work. The Broccoli Salad was light, refreshing, and pretty solid. However, there was one problem: it was missing bacon! My wife went for lunch yesterday with her coworker. She said the store was busy and the staff was very friendly. They dined in. She had a sandwich, pickle, and a side of broccoli salad *with* bacon. She said everything was good. She bought the grab-and-go salads to bring home. Most of the crackers that were placed in the bag were crushed/broken. A couple of the packs weren't sealed correctly and were open. Not good. At the time of writing this review, Chicken Salad Chick has over 310 locations in the US. The state with the most locations is Georgia (over 40 locations). The chain was founded in 2008 in Auburn, Alabama. I have been wanting to try Chicken Salad Chick for some time because I just simply love chicken salad! Upon arrival, I was greeted with warm smiles. When they noticed I hadn't the slightest clue of which to choose from, they each gave me their go-to's. I don't recall the name of the one I chose but it had cranberries in it. While it was flavorful, it was just dry. I added mayonnaise and that helped. I don't know if I'd come back because I was slightly disappointed in how dry it was. But it was definitely a nice portion! Our family loves Chicken Salad Chick! This location is fairly new and is located in a shopping center along SR 141. Good, accessible location with plenty of parking. Hubs and I were driving down 141 around lunchtime one weekend. We saw CSC and decided to grab something quick. There was a line inside the restaurant but it moved quickly. Everyone wore masks and social distancing was encouraged. The staff was pleasant. My husband ordered the Fancy Nancy with broccoli salad and I the egg salad sandwich with grape salad. Quality and portions are consistent with all other CSCs we've been to. I have a huge sweet tooth so I always lean towards the sweet sides like the grape salad. I also looooove their sugar cookies. If you're a fan of chicken salad each and every way that you can ever imagine, then this place is for you. The location is easy to find. There's plenty of parking and the interior was nice and clean. Right now the employees are practicing social distancing and still wearing masks. If you can't decide which chicken salad to get you just ask for a sample to taste. They also have pimento cheese which I really want to try one day. Every meal comes with a small delicious cookie. This time I opted for a sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. We came in for the soft opening and we were not disappointed!! The service was so friendly, quick, fast, and everyone social distanced. They had some booths with missing tables in the middle to make people spread out, but we ordered to go and it was packed up nicely and given to me quickly. I had buffalo chicken BLT. Plenty of crispy bacon and a good sized portion of chicken salad. The heat wasn't spicy but had great flavor. We also got a kids meal.. the fruit that comes with it is fresh , but the portion size of the Mac and cheese is just like a side item. I have been stopping in this restaurant about once a month for about year. By now, most people have heard of this establishment and everyone I have spoken with enjoy the service. Like most fast food type restaurants the menu is right in front of you as you approach the counter. The cashiers seem friendly and helpful. They have a variety of drinks including handmade lemonade and a strawberry lemonade that is delicious. The only challenge I have is this company is following the tip guilt route that many restaurants use by soliciting tips upon check out and the cashier is there staring you in the face. So you almost feel compelled to add that gratuity to your bill. read more

I have tried most of the flavors and fancy nancy is definitely a favorite! I love the fruit and nuts added to it, which give it a sweet kick. Tried to order curbside today, as it says is offered in the app. I actually got curbside service not too long ago (spoke with a manager I think). Every time I call after trying to maneuver through the new website, which is very confusing, I get a different answer. Today when I asked if they have curbside, the answer was "yes, if you can come in first and pay." What? Totally defeats the purpose. I am disabled and it is very difficult for me to walk, so I need curbside. If they don't offer it, that is fine. But at least be consistent or at least take it off your app, please. The food tastes good, but they've forgotten an included item the last two times I've ordered The Chick. Also, it appears they are not cutting the grapes anymore in the chicken salad? So, it's basically a huge grape with some chicken salad around it. Also, the health practices are interesting... During Covid (although this shouldn't be normal even during non Covid), this happened: The waitress delivers the wrong food to customer A and then walks away. Customer A (who is seated at their table, maskless) realizes that the food is incorrect. About 1-2 minutes later, customer A is able to flag down the waitress and say "this isn't what I ordered". The waitress takes the plate and walks it over to Customer B's table where it is given to the (correct) Customer B. read more

I visited this location this week and was disappointed with what I received after returning home. I normally frequent the location in the Collection at Forsyth but decided to go to this location due to being in the area. I ordered the egg salad but what I received was an egg yolk salad. I couldn't eat it due to the excessive yolk and no white. I know how it should taste being that I have purchased it from other locations but someone is messing with the recipe here. I also ordered some chicken salad (fruity Fran) and it was not up to par and tasted a little old (sour). In my opinion, the owners need to make sure they are following the cooking/preparation instructions to makeup the batches and not allow the kitchen staff to deviate from the makeup. Very disappointed in the service and the systems. We ordered on line. When I arrived to pick up I was informed they didn't have the soup that was ordered. I indicated that the app allowed it to be ordered and was told it's only available on Saturdays. How does the system allow an ordered to be placed and paid for when the product is not available that day by design. After making a substitution and getting home. I have never experienced such lack of customer service and laziness. I placed a pick up order yesterday for 28 sandwiches and sides for pickup today at 11:15. Showed up at 11:10, and they said it wasn't ready (okay I was early) but when I noticed nothing was being done at 11:15 to get my order they said the kitchen is working on it. I waited another 15 minutes (which I was suppose to be at my lunch with food by that time). I asked then to speak with the manager (since the other 3 people that were working in front not doing much didn't seem to care about timeliness) Katlyn who i guess was the manager yelled at me through the window saying they just got the order this morning. Great..so you opened at 10am saw a large order and didn't prep for it and started making it at 11:25?? She didn't care about me being 30 minutes late to my lunch. I finally got all my food around 11:45. The manager had no consideration for my time or others this impacted. I spend over $300 and that's what kind of service I got. Never again!! read more

I have enjoyed their food in the past so I ordered from their app. The app said I entered an incorrect credit card number so the order was not placed but my credit card was charged. I went in person and spoke to General Manager Justan McMillern who me rude and No he did not offer me my $8.55 meal so I had to leave with no food and I had paid already. So, it was a total mess.
