This used to be my partner's absolute favorite breakfast spot. His go-to order was the Chicken Sausage, Egg & Cheese Pasta--a unique breakfast entrée that you could only get at this restaurant in Georgia. The last time he had it was back in the summer of 2021, so during the July 4th weekend we made it a point to come back for the nostalgia. Unfortunately, this visit just didn't live up to our memories. I know inflation has affected many restaurants, but it's disappointing when menu changes take away the dishes that made people keep coming back. We started with the mimosa flight (mango, pineapple, cranberry, and orange). Sadly, they all tasted like plain champagne, and we couldn't really tell the flavors apart. Our son ordered the chicken tenders and waffles. There wasn't anything particularly memorable about it, but he enjoyed his meal, and that's what mattered most. He left happy. I ordered the Hangover Hash--moon-dusted potatoes topped with homemade queso, chicken chorizo, crispy chicken, two cage-free over-medium eggs, and served with a Flying Biscuit and cranberry apple butter. It was just okay. The online photo looked much more appealing. Mine didn't include the black beans, onions, or cilantro, and the potatoes had changed from what I remembered. Instead of seasoned breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions, they were just plain diced potatoes, which made the dish feel bland. The chicken chorizo was also much saltier than expected. The biggest disappointment was that my partner's favorite Chicken Sausage, Egg & Cheese Pasta had been discontinued. He ended up ordering scrambled eggs with salmon and dill cream cheese, served with potatoes, a Flying Biscuit with cranberry apple butter, plus a side of whole wheat French toast and grits. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out either. It was simply an okay breakfast that filled us up. Overall, the food wasn't terrible--it just lacked the "wow" factor that made us fall in love with this place years ago. The service was friendly, and our server was very nice, but the food no longer feels as special as it once did. If we return to the area, we'll probably try a different breakfast spot instead of coming back here. That said, if you've never been, it's still a decent place to check out. Just don't expect the same experience that longtime fans may remember. read more

Breakfast time is the only time I dine here because I'm not a huge brunch person. I love that this location has tons of parking. It is also large inside with multiple rooms which allows For them to cater to larger parties. Service is always good and it helps to know what you like to eat. They are the best I've ever had, and I've lived in SC and GA my whole life and eaten a LOT of grits. Go get you some grits. Don't sleep on the grits! We had always loved going to the flying biscuit cafe and decided to give this location a try. Big mistake. First, the food was very salty and sloppily presented on the plate. Next, the coffee was mediocre and the waiter never returned to check on us or refill our coffee. So needless to say we only got one cup of mediocre coffee. My husband's omelette looked like it had been torn in half and reduced in size. My veggie scramble was to be made with egg whites only - nope. It was just scrambled eggs with veggies. And when did you change from the fluffy white biscuits with sugar on top?! Now you serve a biscuit that tastes like a frozen or popped from the can biscuit. We were seated quickly and almost got a mimosa flight but our friendly waiter suggested the pitcher instead so we got that. The food was delicious. The biscuit is cakey and didn't need butter. It came with an apple jam that tasted homemade. The spicy vegan collards were really good and the blackened shrimp had so much flavor. The grits were smoothy, creamy, and cheesy. My girlfriend got the chicken and waffles and said it was really good and one of the best waffles she's had. I think this is a fine breakfast joint, with good food, coffee, and drinks. Dining in you get excellent service with attentive wait staff and everything is quick. Food is plentiful, I usually eat half and take the rest to go. The crabcake Benedict is delicious, as is their chorizo hash. I come here often, it's a neighborhood staple. I've been frequenting different locations for about 15 years. I was sad when they took one of my favorites off the menu. It seems everyone else does to- always busy, so I like to order ahead or come order at the bar. They make really good classic breakfast. They have options for everyone- healthy options, or more savory or sweet indulgent options. Be prepared to wait it's always a small line- like 20-30 min wait. So this is weird to complain about but here we go. The online ordering menu for this location of Flying Biscuit has several omissions. It does not Match the printed menu completely and that doesn't make any sense because other locations seem to have all items available to order. What makes it even weirder is that a few of the items were available a couple months ago and now they have disappeared. I have contacted the corporate office via their email contact address online ...it took a week to get a reply which was "we will work on it." I went to make an order today and the items are still not available. I know a bit about constructing online menus like this and I know it's not an arduous task except for management at the flying biscuit in Peachtree corners. Don't they want the business? Visited this and a few other locations. Second best behind the original location. They are NOT all created equal. The Apple butter with biscuits are so delicious. Unfortunately, they changed their original biscuit recipe but still pretty good. The chorizo hash was really good. The grits were amazing. Definitely get as a side if not a main entree. The oatmeal banana pancake was pretty good. Add the apple butter and it's next level. The breakfast tacos were also delicious.
