The welcome upon entering The flying Biscuit was warm and I was seated quickly. The decaf coffee was fast but left a lot to be desired. I ordered the Georgia Peach Breakfast with bacon, over medium eggs grits and a peach compote topped waffle. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decoration s were cute and had a nostalgic of the graffiti 80's[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . [[HIGHLIGHT]]I sat at the bar and watched the tv, while also enjoying the music in the background.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I enjoyed my breakfast and the service was quick and friendly. I'll be back....

This place started our morning off with a wonderful experience. So many choices on the menu and the ability to customize your meal was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming without yh loud music other places have.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Amanda was so nice, funny and so very attentive. We will definitely be back

We were seated quickly and almost got a mimosa flight but our friendly waiter suggested the pitcher instead so we got that. The food was delicious. The biscuit is cakey and didn't need butter. It came with an apple jam that tasted homemade. The spicy vegan collards were really good and the blackened shrimp had so much flavor. The grits were smoothy, creamy, and cheesy. My girlfriend got the chicken and waffles and said it was really good and one of the best waffles she's had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We loved the art on the walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'll be back for sure.

Always good, fresh food but a hit or miss on service. Our waiter came over to get our order and that was it. We had to ask someone else for a refill, togo boxes and our checks. He didn't even bring us our food! Lazy service but good food.

The service was great..the food was amazing and a great way to start off a Sunday with a morning mimosa! I wanted the Southern scrambled but they were out of collard greens but the Chorizo with scrambled eggs, & potatoes, made up for it. Biscuits were the highlight along with the apple butter and grits.

I think this is a fine breakfast joint, with good food, coffee, and drinks. Dining in you get excellent service with attentive wait staff and everything is quick. Food is plentiful, I usually eat half and take the rest to go. The crabcake Benedict is delicious, as is their chorizo hash. I've taken the breakfast burrito to go and it was pretty good, but I think the dine in experience is the way to go. I'm a regular!

Good food, dreamy grits, and the service is great! Love to eat here with my whole family. They have a room in the back for groups.

And the inside was clean and had a nice chill vibe with the music, so no complaints about service or ambiance. Now foe the real reason we're here, the grub. I wasn't disappointed at all, some things slapped more than others, but overall a good experience for my pallet. I'll go dish by dish. Ox tails were a 9 imo, they weren't the biggest, but they aren't stingy and the flavor was on point. Cabbage was a 7but not bad, I just would've liked it to be cooked down a little more but I appreciate the flavor profile cuz I sensed a lil spice to it. The sweet potatoes, ehhhh... I'd give em a 5 at best, only because it tasted like sweet potato pie! Which isn't nasty or gross but I didn't want or expect to be eating sweet potato pie is all, so I'd pass on that in the future myself. The turkey wings were a 7, I wanna give em an 8 cuz they were so damn tender and slipped off the bone, they cooked them perfectly. They just need a lil salt. Fortunately the gravy carried and made up for it, but I wish the turkey wings just had a tad bit more flavor on their own. But nonetheless I enjoyed em and would get them again push come to shove. The rice was a 10, moist and flavorful and just nothing bad to be said about the rice. Now for the collard greens. So much to dissect here, because I like big leafy greens vs chopped or dice, and they most certainly delivered in that regard so I was very happy there. HOWEVER... I couldn't tell if they were burnt or if they were over smoked!! Either way it messed up the flavoring for me and I couldn't enjoy them to their full potential, and THAT was a let down. So for the greens I'm teetering around a 6. I'd low key wanna try a sample again to see if they just had a bad day before wasting my time getting a while order and gambling with my taste buds. As for the Mac, I liked it, nothing super special to say or bad by any means either so I'm comfy giving the Mac an 8. The peach cobbler was a 7.5, my wife said it was too sweet for her but I enjoyed it. I feel since we took it to go and I reheated it by time I got back to the Telly, u can't really critique it too heavily cuz some things u need to have fresh in its natural state to give it a fair assessment, but nonetheless I enjoyed it and ate both mine and hers, and would definitely get it again. Overall great experience and would recommend to others and get myself if I'm ever down here again!

Hey there! This is my 2nd time coming to this restaurant & I can say that the restaurant has an…read moreattractive appearance. My wife loves the music atmosphere in the building, you can also see other customers grooving to the music so they know how to please their customers ears. I love the artwork they have in the back, makes you feel like a NY graffiti alley. I find it very interesting I guess since I'm interested in this type of art. Now for the service, every time we come by we always run into a very nice & sweet lady but we can tell one of the employees does have an attitude from the group. I'm glad we didn't have to deal with her, life is stressing but when you come to work it's best to leave the attitude behind & put your best A game while you're at work. Let's go now with food, I enjoy soul food. It's just some kind of food that gets you stuffed. Makes me feel like I'm enjoying a home cooked meal, their food is delicious. I'm not picky & I don't like down shamming anyone's business. That's not how I roll, I have a business myself & I know I'd dislike someone who understands situations or value of what they do. But, I did have an issue on the temperature of the food. It comes out lukewarm & it's a little disappointing because you're waiting at least 10-15 mins before you get your food. I would atleast appreciate the food being a little warmer. In this order, my wife got oxtails with Mac & Cheese & Fried Okra. She was pleased with her order! I love their cornbread muffin, it has amazing flavors! I got the honey croissant this time with my smoked chicken, it wasn't bad but I guess I was digging the honey on the croissant. Chicken was good, i enjoyed it & the veggies are great. I got steam cabbage, their seasonings were amazing. I also got veggies, they came out great. I absolutely admire their fresh squeezed agave lemonade! It tastes amazing, I recommend anyone to give it a try. I made a sun-joy out of it! I can't complain, their food will get you stuffed for the prices they have going on here. Each plate is around $15.00-24.00.

I sent two back because they were dreadful, and was charged for them anyway. Service was slooooooow. The bartender and server were engrossed in watching the World Cup games, so that left us (the ONLY customers in the restaurant) ignored and waiting long periods of time for water refills, etc. The Southern Peach salad was NOT good. Canned peaches and loaded with NASTY kale. The plate was saturated in a lot of clear vinegar - the taste was dreadful. I had a few bites of what lettuce I could find that wasn't KALE, and then pushed it away. We do NOT recommend this restaurant. There are other restaurants in the area!

I do use AI to write these easily, so pardon the clunkiness lol…read more The Food The menu here is a really cool take on elevated yet comfortable Southern food. After a few visits, I've tried a good variety of the menu: * **Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich:** This is served open-face and uses a mix of Sichuan and Calabrian chili. It is absolutely amazing, but fair warning: it is *hot*. Even if you're used to Sichuan spice, this one may still be tough to deal with, but it's still incredibly flavorful and enjoyable. Just keep in mind that they don't adjust the heat level for this one. * **The Greens:** These are wonderful. They have a rich, savory pork flavor and are easily a must-order for me every single time. * **Shrimp and Grits:** This has a fantastic sauce that strikes the perfect balance--not too heavy, but not watery either. My only minor wish is that they'd add some andouille sausage to it (even if raised the price), but it's still a really well-executed dish. * **Southern Pho:** Really great and super hearty. It's a comforting bowl, though probably best enjoyed during the winter months. * **Drinks:** The cocktails are always creative and well-made, and they keep a really interesting beer list on hand too. ### 2. The Ambience The vibe here is great. The interior feels like a charming, cozy little house you'd find in Savannah. I especially love the bar area, which has these really cool copper chandelier lights that give the space a warm, inviting glow. ### 3. The Service The staff has been consistently friendly and welcoming every single time I've been here. The Summary I honestly feel lucky to live close to this place. It doesn't get much love or mentions from the Atlanta social media crowd and local press (the good news is you won't encounter a lot of annoying people lol).. I'm a fan though.
