Peach waffle with whipped cream
Erica F.

The welcome upon entering The flying Biscuit was warm and I was seated quickly. The decaf coffee was fast but left a lot to be desired. I ordered the Georgia Peach Breakfast with bacon, over medium eggs grits and a peach compote topped waffle. The decoration s were cute and had a nostalgic of the graffiti 80's . I sat at the bar and watched the tv, while also enjoying the music in the background. I enjoyed my breakfast and the service was quick and friendly. I'll be back....

This place started our morning off with a wonderful experience. So many choices on the menu and the ability to customize your meal was great. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming without yh loud music other places have. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Amanda was so nice, funny and so very attentive. We will definitely be back

Chicken and Waffles

We were seated quickly and almost got a mimosa flight but our friendly waiter suggested the pitcher instead so we got that. The food was delicious. The biscuit is cakey and didn't need butter. It came with an apple jam that tasted homemade. The spicy vegan collards were really good and the blackened shrimp had so much flavor. The grits were smoothy, creamy, and cheesy. My girlfriend got the chicken and waffles and said it was really good and one of the best waffles she's had. We loved the art on the walls. We'll be back for sure.

Always good, fresh food but a hit or miss on service. Our waiter came over to get our order and that was it. We had to ask someone else for a refill, togo boxes and our checks. He didn't even bring us our food! Lazy service but good food.

Mimosa

The service was great..the food was amazing and a great way to start off a Sunday with a morning mimosa! I wanted the Southern scrambled but they were out of collard greens but the Chorizo with scrambled eggs, & potatoes, made up for it. Biscuits were the highlight along with the apple butter and grits.

I think this is a fine breakfast joint, with good food, coffee, and drinks. Dining in you get excellent service with attentive wait staff and everything is quick. Food is plentiful, I usually eat half and take the rest to go. The crabcake Benedict is delicious, as is their chorizo hash. I've taken the breakfast burrito to go and it was pretty good, but I think the dine in experience is the way to go. I'm a regular!

Great breakfast place. Homestyle dishes. Service was great. Coffee could be better, but that goes for most breakfast places.

The decor is bright, airy and modern without feeling overdone it makes the space feel welcoming and easy to sit back and enjoy good conversation for hours. One thing I really appreciated as a vegan was that they actually had a few vegan options instead of just a side salad or fruit plate. It's always refreshing finding a brunch spot that puts thought into accommodating different lifestyles without sacrificing flavor. The food, atmosphere and energy all came together for a really enjoyable outing with friends.

Waitress didn't seem to know menu well and stumbled over questions asked. Menu available via QR code only, and we had 1 phone at table, so had to share phone around. Also very noisy as staff constantly bringing out birthday cake and drinks and "singing" with rattles, and strobe lights each time - 7 times in hour we were there. And a breakfast place with no coffee or tea? Bread an add on side item at breakfast and no salt or pepper on table so take food as comes only option! Also, a waitress should not be chewing gum while talking and taking an order! Nor should they be putting on lipbalm while on floor. Waitresses could use some basic training. Food was ok, nothing special and warm not hot. Flowers in food colorful but not edible, so wasted. Would be better in arrangement on table, so can enjoy while wait for food which slow since "individualized". The mandatory tip, when not deserved, is annoying. As said no plans to return as no boxes checked :(

We arrived around 11 am and just in time before there were zero seats outside. The Hostesses, the server and runners were very friendly. Very great service! The food did not disappoint either! I had the hash dish and some of the huge pancake the hubby ordered. The pancake was basically a cake round, I took a bite when the hubs was at the last quarter of it and it was actually still pretty hot! It was good. It looked 1.5-2" thick and 2 pieces. To me that is suitable to split amongst 8 people. The hash was delicious. Tiny roasted veg topped with your style of eggs. I chose sunny side and it was a perfect pour right into the dish. There were also 2 medium round Idaho potatoes, yum! Most definitely without a doubt will be returning.

They bring it out in a really big bowl and it's just a little bit.. the chicken sausage is cut up whole like chopped hotdogs. It really looks lazy and unappealing. The flavor wasn't bad, not great, but not nasty. Nothing special at all. Now for the restaurant itself (decor), I liked it. I think it's a great setting for lunch indoors or outdoors. I'd try them again for dinner to see if it's better, but going back for brunch, not likely.
