This is a good little heathy food spot. I drove by one day, Yelppies suggested. I stopped by, it was early in morning, the place was empty, I saw couple of deliveries people picking up their food, the staffs was friendly, I read over the menu, I actually forgot what I ordered, because this review is way past due, maybe 3 weeks past due. But I do remember is one of them combo But first thing first, the two ladies behind the counter is really nice and friendly, I love dealing with an adult instead of those younger generation that don't care for their customers, just show up for their paycheck, if you know what I mean. Lady that serving me asked if I need some suggestion or help for recommendations, very nice and friendly. I ordered (once again I can't remember the name). The sandwich itself is very good, came with side of fruit as you can see on my photo, like I mentioned before, is a good healthy lunch, not too big of the portion. I visited my sister a few weeks before she gave birth to twins, and was ready to pop any day. None of us felt like cooking dinner since we wanted to focus on getting things done and visiting. We ordered chicken salad chick for dinner. They have been on my list for a while now, but I had never taken the time to try them. I ordered a combo of one scoop of chicken salad and one scoop of pimento cheese. I chose the original pimento cheese and the dill pickle chicken salad. I was pleasantly surprised. I would eat both again! However, I was disappointed that the pimento cheese just came with two regular packs of crackers like you would get at a restaurant with a cup of soup, so I'm not sure how they expect you to finish the rest of the pimento cheese... Luckily, we had crackers in the house that I was able to eat. My sister got one of the spicy chicken salads. It was definitely the best thing we tried. None of the sides were appealing to me, so I didn't get one, but my brother-in-law got the kale and broccoli saw and I tasted a bite and it was pretty good. My sister got the grapes. We love Chicken Salad Chick! I was first introduced when living in Alabama, where they were founded. I never liked chicken salad until trying Buffalo Barclay and Sassy Scotty from CSC. While they have a few flavors that are heavier on the mayonnaise or egg taste, most are just full of the flavors unique to that chicken salad. Cute restaurant with some simply, but delicious food. This was my first time visiting the location, I usually order it for delivery for some of my offices. It is inviting and charming. I could see it as a great place for lunch with some of your girls. I had ordered some take out online, so I was here to pick it up. That's what you give for a scoop with one of the meals and you give that for a big container of chicken salad..get out of here. Stop being stingy with the crackers. I recently had Chicken Salad Chick in Polaris and it is delicious! I tried it before when someone had it catered and I thought it was good then but a few days ago my daughter brought me one of their salads and a cookie... omg it was fantastic and I'm kind of picky! We didn't seek out to order from here, but they sent a request to our school and offered to drop off lunch to the staff with no delivery charge. I'll admit, I only read what our secretary wrote and not the instructions from the restaurant and went ahead and placed and order for 5 people. Later that day, we got a phone call that we could only order from the community drop off menu. The lady that called wasn't all that helpful in guiding me how to reorder the same items from the regular menu from the community drop menu, but i got close. I was ultimately able to reorder-it took me 15 minutes to figure it out and it was more expensive to order the same meals, missing lettuce, tomato, bacon and cheese. When the items were finally delivered, we had to assemble our own sandwiches, minus the toppings and despite spending more. Bread was delivered in ziplock bags. We will never order from this company again. Not only did we get less value for our money, we were also missing one of our sides. When we called, we brought the issue to the manager's attention, but were told it was our issue. We were refunded for the chips they shorted us. We were also told if we wanted utensils and napkins, we needed to know to request them. But that was not stated anywhere. Hard when you're not ordering to your home so we had to figure it out. Not fans x5 that ordered. If you're offering delivery to a school, let us actually order from your menu. We were told they have to leave at 9:30 in order to deliver to all the schools they offered delivery to on our ordering day. Not my issue. No thank you. I don't care how good your food is (mixed reviews) when your service is subpar. read more

Chicken Salad Chick, as its name implies serves up all things chicken salad. They have flavors that I didn't even know were possible for the savory sandwich spread. You order by the scoop or on a sandwich (white, wheat, croissant). They also have pimento cheese (regular or spicy), soups, and a variety of sides (broccoli salad, pasta salad, grape salad, fruit, or mac & cheese). For an additional $2.50 you can add two sides, which can include an additional side scoop of chicken salad or pimento. I was between a couple different flavors and as I voiced this to the employee taking my order, without hesitation they asked if I wanted to try samples. This was super nice and not something I was expecting. I ended up going with the 'Sassy Scotty' chicken salad on toasted wheat bread. I don't know who Scotty is, but we must have similar paletes because I love everything about ranch, bacon, & cheddar cheese. For the sides, I went with spicy pimento and pasta salad. Once you order, they give you a number and you find a table. It took less than 10 minutes for the food to be ready. Unfortunately, they brought out the wrong sandwich, but were quick to fix it when I brought it up. The chicken salad was excellent. The pasta salad was decent, but the pimento cheese was average. Next time I will probably just stick to a chicken salad sandwich and I'm interested in trying some of the other flavors. Lastly, it came with a mini Cheryl's cookie which was a nice touch. I thought this might be unique to this location given Cheryl's is also based in Westerville. The service was quick and excellent, the order taking guy offered samples of the various chicken salad options which was so great for a newbie like me. I ended up getting the chicken salad with jalapeño on toasted wheat bread and it was excellent. I would definitely get it again. I walked into the restaurant and the girl was running the vacuum on the carpet so she saw me and then came over to take my order. She didn't really wash her hands or anything next she brought out my food. The soup was good. The chicken salad was OK kind of planned And the iced tea was very weak. She told me there was probably enough for me to have a glass of tea and there was but again it didn't have any flavor. It was very watered down. Next she started to sweep the floors, the hardwood floors with a broom swept all of the dirt off the floors up into a pile right next to the register The cash register it was disgusting to look at. This chain has found its niche and they know it. They decor and feel of a Chicken Salad Chick is a nice counterpoint to those rough and tumble western-themed steakhouses that seem to exist at every major intersection of suburbia. This place reminds me of a cultured English tea time meal.....the only thing missing is the doilies. In these tough times when the world can be too rough and rude, it's nice to have a pretty place that serves good chicken salad as a needed change of pace. There are like a dozen different flavors of chicken salad from fruity to spicy, all probably with a base of chopped chicken and mayo. We've tried a handful and were never disappointed. Sides are limited and drinks are self-service. The employees are super nice and the dining area is kept clean. The decor, while still modern counter-service eatery is nicely pastel. I hope this chain expands across the country but never loses it's dedication to customer service and all things that are of a gentler time and place. read more

I never knew chicken salad could have so many flavors, all that I tried were delicious. They have a large variety of both sweet and savory recipes. You can put a scoop on a sandwich, croissant, salad, or just naked with a fork. If you want to make your own sandwiches, they have a refrigerator with containers with all the flavors to take home. The sides are also very good. As the name suggests, this place is not the best for vegetarians. The vibe is very nice walking in. The service is exceptional, with a warm welcome at the register to the employees picking up your trays when you're finished eating. If you forget to grab napkins, don't worry because there is a napkin dispenser at every single table. I am not sure about the other handful of restaurants, but this one is not open on Sundays, which is unfortunately when I'm mostly craving a chicken salad sandwich. Another thing that I feel is negative is that they include a packaged Cheryl's cookie with every order, which seems great, but for all the people that do not want them, they throw them away and it is very wasteful. The staff here is so friendly and caring!! The food is always top notch and you get a lot for what you pay! As someone who traditionally does not like chicken salad, I love it here!! So many choices!!! The spicy pimento cheese is actually a fav non-chicken salad option too. I recently placed an online delivery order for 20+ different meals and they handled it with ease! The manager even followed up prior to make sure we were okay with the quality of the order possibly being compromised due to it being delivered via door dash. Since I was right nearby and had been wanting to come, I made a point to stop in. Super friendly service, helping me through the menu since I was clearly new. You get free samples, as many as you want. I tried three different ones, and they were all good, but I went with their standard. I'm not a big chicken salad fan, and I think that's because I've had not-very-good chicken salads too often. This is the good stuff. Their regular flavor was very good as a taster, but maybe a bit bland on the sandwich, so next time, and there will be a next time, I will get one with a little more flavor. And they have loads of options, with savory flavors, and spicy, etc. The egg salad was also good. I got my sandwich on whole wheat with lettuce and tomato, and it was a very good, classic chicken salad sandwich. I got the trio, so it came with a side and a soup. I got the broccoli salad side. A very light dressing, crispy fresh broccoli, bacon, and cheese. Excellent. The soup of the day was broccoli cheese. Also excellent. They also give you a cookie and crackers. I'm low key obsessed with this place. But when they first came on the scene last summer, I thought to myself, "How will a place that solely serves chicken salad survive?" Oh, even through the pandemic, they're surviving and I believe thriving as well. They have this Vineyard Vines + Simply Southern brand type feel, but for chicken salad. (It's complicated!) All the employees are super friendly and sweet and I've not seen one there with a bad attitude which is not often witnessed in the fast food/fast casual scene. The value of the meal that you get is much better than a competitor like Panera or CoreLife. For $10 you can get a fresh made chicken salad sandwich with L/T + 2 sides. I always get the broccoli salad & grape salad. Both are my favorite and I can't choose between them--so I just get both. I've had the spinach artichoke soup--yummy too! I've gotten take-out and most recently ate, socially distanced, on their patio. We tried Chicken Salad Chick for the first time today. I placed an order through their website for a Family Pack. You pick two types of chicken salad, a large side and iced tea or lemonade. It also comes with six croissants and six small Cheryl's buttercream iced cookies. Their online ordering process was easy to maneuver. We selected the classic carol and fancy nancy chicken salads along with the broccoli salad side and lemonade. I also added a large pimento cheese and they included several packs of wheat crackers. We ordered for pickup at 12:45 and had a bit of a wait (some type of miscommunication between the front and back of house, they were apologetic). Everything was fresh and tasty. The fancy nancy chicken salad includes grapes, diced apple, and nuts. It was great, we would all definitely order it again as a scoop. The classic carol was great too, perfect on a croissant. The chicken is shredded, not chunked, both salads had a great consistency and plenty of chicken. The broccoli salad seemed fresh, bacon was packed separately. The sauce on the broccoli salad was a little on the runny /watery side, but still good. The pimento cheese was fresh, moist, and flavorful. Wow! I had NO idea that my quick stop to this place would change my world. What did I just have that rivaled anything I have eaten?! This restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking out front and easy to locate. I happened to notice this place after visiting Target. I grabbed a scoop of the lemon basil chicken salad. It came with whole wheat Lance crackers, a pickle and the cutest sugar cookie. I am usually a big eater but this ironically was enough and hit the spot. The texture wasn't mushy or watery but firm and creamy. The flavors married together beautifully. I can't say enough about the experience I had. I told many people about my experience after eating it. This is 100% on my must go-to restaurants. The order process is very easy and from the grab and go section, you can see what the salads look like and even see the ingredients from the containers. They have so many different varieties to choose from. The Jalapeño Holly is my favorite one but I haven't tried one I haven't loved. The soups are always piping hot and tasty. Bravo to whomever came up with this concept. Chicken salad on a croissant is one of my favorite things ever, and to be able to walk into a restaurant that serves only chicken salad is impressive. They not only have my favorite sandwich, but they have many varieties of chicken salad to choose from. I was excited to check it out. I used to work 5 minutes from this location, but it opened after my team moved to Grandview, so it isn't convenient. Today I had to pick up cupcakes from Gigi's, so I jumped on the opportunity because they are so close to each other. I ordered and paid online ahead of time, so I went to the online order counter and was helped by a gentleman who was genuinely nice and explained how to get points on their app. Today is double points day. Side note: if I stil worked so close, I would definitely be a regular customer. I ordered Classic Carol on the croissant and it comes with lettuce and tomato (unless you order without, but that would be crazy). I was so happy that as a side, you can get a scoop of another variety. I very much wanted to try Lauryn's Lemon Basil, so that's what I chose. The lemon basil was nothing short of amazing. For $9.99 I got a chicken salad BLT sandwich (Sassy Scotty flavor: cheddar/bacon/ranch), a side scoop of their seasonal flavor, Southwest Señorita (Poblano peppers, cheddar cheese, corn, & southwest seasoning), plus a pickle, 5 or 6 packets of crackers, and a small cookie. I got the Southwest scoop as my side to bring home for my wife, so I didn't taste that, or get a side dish or soup, and I kind of regret not getting the pasta salad or loaded potato soup. The sandwich was decent--fair sized, with a pretty good balance of ingredients. I'd advise against getting toasted white bread, though. It wasn't great, and the wheat and croissants both looked better. The chicken salad itself was pretty average. I couldn't really taste any cheddar, bacon, or ranch in the chicken salad itself. I'm not sure how good it would be on it's own, but combined with the bacon and tomato on the sandwich, it made a pretty good lunch. And when you factor in the side, and the other extra stuff, it was a pretty decent value. The place was busy, with most tables full, a line from the counter to the door, plus a few people waiting on to-go orders. (It was about 12:30 on a Thursday.) This is a "new spot" opened in Polaris. I've never heard of them before, but they are a chain restaurant with about 161 locations. Anyway, I really like chicken salad and it's hard to find a spot that does it "right." This restaurant offers several variations of it, some spicy, some with fruit, etc. I opted to do the basic "Carol" and it was good, it reminded me a little of the Chick-fil-A chicken salad they used to make before it was discontinued. They do not permit dine in for the time being, but there is a patio outside if you want to eat it there. I would order from here again. read more
