As usual, Canes is outstanding. The whole family loved it and this place didn't disappoint. We usually get the tailgater to feed the family of 5 but got individual meals this time. Delicious. It was our first time ever to a location. The chicken was hot and fresh. Their special sauce was good. The Texas toast was so delicious!! We loved their tea and lemonade. The coleslaw wasn't my favorite. The line went pretty quickly, indoors isn't open because of covid. While the food was excellent, we did have to go back and ask to get lids and straws for our drinks, and the hot sauce wasn't available with the rest of the condiments. I don't think the fries are that great, but there are not better options. I can only eat so much toast. I don't care for the cole slaw, but they are more than happy to sub for another Texas toast or more fries or even an extra sauce. This location has ceiling fans always on and always on high. They don't seem to have much control over them. Even in the dead of winter, those fans are on. It's always busy and tough to find a seat. Well, before the pandemic, anyway. read more

Good fried chicken is hard to find -- especially good FAST FOOD fried chicken. This was my first visit to Raising Cane's but certainly won't be my last. I was there with a co-worker who had met the father of the guy who opened the first Cane's. According to my coworker, the guy's Dad explained that his son's goal was to do 1 thing and to do it VERY WELL. That said, this is a fried chicken place -- no burgers, no hot dogs - just chicken. AND - of course - fries and cole slaw and Texas toast. My buddy encouraged me to order the chicken dinner that came with 3 pieces of chicken, fries, slaw and Texas toast -- it was exceptional. And it was FILLING. The chicken came out hot with a nice crispy breading - the fries and slaw were also very good -- but the chicken was definitely the featured attraction. Fast, prompt service. I personally love this location. It is always clean. Food is always good! Service is always friendly. Portions are above average. Weekends can be busy, a little messy, and crowded with teenagers (people don't seem to want to take care of their own trash on the weekends). I personally think the music is a little loud, but with the music, decorations, and upbeat employees, it gives the place a good lively vibe. The special dipping sauce is amazing! I'm going to be as politically correct as possible with this next part. I am complimenting Cane's here and in no way trying to offend anyone. What really impressed me the most this last visit was seeing how they treat a handicapped employee. This employee was front and center at the register. They also provided a chair for this employee to make the employee more comfortable. You could tell this employee enjoyed their job and interacting with people. When i called to confirm today, he knew exactly who i was and confirmed pickup and order. It's such a breath of fresh air to work with someone in the service industry who you can tell takes pride in their work and you can hear them smile through the phone. Listen, I love the strips. Always. Sometimes the breading is thick and crunchy, sometimes it's thin and falling off - but the chicken is always hot and juicy, and the sauce is like crack. Artery clogging deliciousness. Buy it in a cup, take it out on a date, and sneak it in to other restaurants and enjoy it. This is just "par for the course" for Cane's. The only difference is the crowds and the clientele - the service and food has always been (minus the breading) pretty damn consistently done well. read more
