I went here yesterday because I've seen this chain elsewhere and this is the only one in Maryland at the moment. If you like chicken salad, you will like this place. I got the Sassy Scotty on wheat bread, broccoli salad that people rave about, and pasta salad. The meal also came with a complimentary mini sugar cookie. Pasta salad was bland, but everything else was pretty good. It's a nice meal if you want something light and slightly healthier than other options out there. Also my order came out quick. This place is a bit far from me, so I don't think I would actively make a dedicated trek. But, I would come back for the fun of it. I wanted to enjoy this as much as the people on Tik Tok do, I didn't. I'm a spice /flavor girl and tried the Kickin Kay Lynn and the Sassy Scotty. The KKL tasted like a chilled buffalo chicken dip. And the SS was bland despite the bacon and cheese. I'm always looking for a high protein/healthier take out option and would definitely return. However, I would reset expectations for what will be received. There's a location slated to open in Pikesville which I'm looking forward to trying. I have been seeing ads for Chicken Salad Chick for a while now and this is the closest one to me at an hour away. I had a day off so made the trek out to have lunch. I ordered the sandwich meal with two sides. I got the Jill Pickle on a croissant with the broccoli salad with bacon and the pasta salad. Nothing I had was bad but I felt like both sides were very dry and could have been more moist. The chicken salad was okay but I did not get that much pickle flavor out of it. Overall, I do not get the hype. I heard they might be building one near me where I will definitely visit and try some more items. I would not drive that far again for it. read more

I saw an article about this place and knew I wanted to try it out, so I saved it on my places to go. Only problem is that it's all the way in Westminster. My dr's office is 20 mins from there, when I had an appt, I took advantage and went to check it out. The place had nice lighting and music softly playing. Logan took my order, she was very nice, professional and friendly, great customer service skills. I ordered the jalapeño chicken salad sandwich on a crossaint with potato chips and I loved the cookie that came along with it. My sandwich was soo good. I regularly went to CSC when I lived in Nashville. It is a perfect lunch spot. I was incredibly excited to have a taste of the south here in MD. The staff were courteous and helpful. The restaurant was decorated nicely and very clean. Unfortunately the food was a bit underwhelming. The pasta salad and broccoli salad were dry. The ingredients were fresh but unfortunately inedible. They have great sides like the broccoli salad and pasta. Their Mac and Cheese is warm and comforting. Their crew is phenomenal and everyone assists each other around their store. I was excited to find out that the famous chicken salad restaurant was coming to Maryland. I love chicken salad in all forms. Went around 2pm on a Saturday and the place was busy. The staff greeted us promptly and were very helpful. I decided on the special dillicious diva that had dill and cucumber croissant sandwich meal. It came with a side and I selected the broccoli salad. As for the food, it was ok. The chicken salad was good but the croissant was too big and dry for the amount of salad . This place is a staple in Westminster but I found it on a whim(was totally lost and ran into it) immediately greeted when I entered(++++) place was super clean (+++) being that they were about to close, she was so sweet and helped me choose a few items. You won't be disappointed at all. I tried a buffalo one that wasn't to my liking but my friend thoroughly enjoyed that one (something about hot and mayonnaise doesn't sit well with me). Will I return? Absolutely as the Fancy Nancy is what I love! Only had to add a little more seasoning as I do with almost everything I buy anywhere! The website is a complete abomination - you know when people say I "you're a restaurant, show me the menu!" - this is one of those sites that makes it painful. Give me a PDF menu or a list of menu times with pictures - I'm not trying to start an online order! Instead you're faced with things that look like navigation but do absolutely nothing whatsoever. Apparently I'm in the minority but I was overwhelmingly disappointed in Chicken Salad Chick. After hearing rave reviews about their food, I decided to try them for lunch as well as get a variety of their salads for an appetizer tray I needed to provide for a work meeting. Everything I tried was bland and mushy. The texture was abhorrent in both the chicken salad and egg salad. I also tried the mild pimento cheese and although the texture was better, the taste was still quite bland. I am not a picky eater but poor texture is something I have a hard time overcoming in food and that was an immediate turn-off even had the taste been more appealing to me. It fell well below my expectations especially for the prices. The extra star is for the staff - they were the one bright spot in the entire experience. I love Chicken Salad Chick and have been a devoted customer to several VA locations. The Westminster location falls short in flavor. Almost every flavor tastes under seasoned compared to the VA locations. At first I thought it was just working the kinks out, but it still tastes like something has been shorted or left out. Almost like the recipes are off. It's just bland. The Jalapeno and Cranberry versions are the only ones that taste closest to what I expect them to taste like, based off of other location experienes. I don't dislike the Westminster location or what they are serving, but it does not compare to the VA locations. The store, help, Customer service and management is great in Westminster, it's just a seasoning issue that's disappointing in my opion and based off of other experiences. read more

I recently had Chicken Salad Chick in Westminster, MD deliver a catering order to me for an important family event. Somehow, I messed up the online order and the white chocolate cake was not on it. Robert King went back to the restaurant even though it was not the restaurant's error, retrieved the cake and returned to my house with it. This restaurant literally goes the extra mile! Been there twice in the last 2 weeks and got different types of "chicken salad" sandwiches each time. Overall, I find the "salad" (if there is any chicken in it at all, which is legitimately questionable) boring and tasteless - BORING AND TASTELESS IN BOLD, FONT SIZE 50, AND RED PRINT. The "salad" appears as if it's just come from a blender containing some sort of protein (supposedly chicken) and some runny mayonnaise. No spices, NO CHUNCKS OF MEAT, just a boring, tasteless "chicken" concoction. The soup was passable and the restaurant's only redeeming quality. I challenge anyone to explain how they are impressed with the reason for this place's existence - TASTY CHICKEN SALAD. Eating the chicken salad could have been performed using a straw instead of plastered between 2 pieces of bread. After 2 disappointing experiences, this place has STRUCK OUT! Never again. read more
