This little chicken place moved in when Happy Teriyaki flew the coup. The food is similar, but I can't compare them now since I haven't been into Happy Teriyaki for a long time, things could have changed. Plenty of tables, the interior really didn't change, very little decoration. There's a menu board over the counter and you order right there. They do bring the order out to you. Of course, it wasn't busy during our visit, sothey may call your name to pick up the order when busy. Not sure how that works. Onto the food! The squeeze and I both ordered the small Black Spicy Chicken Ball. We opted for all veggies and no rice. It took about 20 minutes for the meals to come out, but they were hot and fresh. I got a side of Gochujang (K red & spicy) sauce. The sauces are $1, and I'm thinking the first one should come with the meal. The flavor of the chicken was good and it was tender as well. The veggies were okay, looked like a lot of shredded cabbage, some carrots and maybe onions. Not a huge array of veggies, but it was filling and hot. Spice level of the dish was okay. I am glad I got the extra hot sauce though. Plenty of food for a good healthy lunch with no fries! There is a soda dispenser to get refills. As most places do, they make a lot of money off of the sodas, $3 for a medium drink. I guess that keeps the food prices down. They DID NOT charge for the water cup the squeeze got. Service was very good, Jin did a great job. We will definitely pop in again when visiting WalMart. read more

I ordered a handful of sauces since it was my first time and she offered me small samples of them all. Food is very good. But I have called on 3 different occasions to place a phone order, and not once have they answered. I went in to place an order, figuring they were slammed...nope, just one employee with a phone in her hand! So the next 2 times I got no answer, I just ordered from somewhere else. I've been there twice now and the service is great. I've only had the Chicken Ball (bowl) but it's a healthy option vs traditional fast food. They make it when you order it so it's always piping hot. Love their different sauces to try too. Only suggestion would be to include one sauce per bowl or plate as opposed to paying $1 extra per sauce. Overall great food addition to the area. read more

If I based this review on today's visit they would get zero stars. But! First time visit a few weeks ago was great. The older lady taking orders was helpful, to the point of doting. And gave us sauce samplers for free. Received a mailer in my mailbox offering a Buy One Bowl/Get One Free offer for their grand opening. There was no noticeable limitations to this offer. Literally said buy one bowl/get one free. So decided to visit for lunch today. There was a young man taking the orders, who I handed the "Coupon" to. I ordered an Apple Chicken Bowl at 8.99, and my +1 ordered the regular chicken bowl. Was told the offer only included the regular bowl, even though there was no wording on the mailer stating this. What ensued after was a completely confusing word salad, that lasted a few minutes. So according to this young man you had to order the regular bowl only! To get another regular bowl free! I told him to just throw the worthless coupon away, and tried to continue with a regular order. And got more word salad! At that point I left frustrated AF! And have no plans on returning! That whole interaction was confusing and dishonest! And I refuse to do business, with a place that has that level of integrity! As for the food? It basically is the same as Happy Teriyaki, who were the previous tenants. Just in bowl format, with a few additional sauces available for extra purchase. Been here twice, great option for the teriyaki cravings. I have tried the Chickenball, chicken breast bowl and the apple chicken bowl as well as the spring rolls and pot stickers all are amazing! My fave sauces which sauces are a must are the soy sauce, spicy mayo and peanut sauce as well of course the sriracha. Great service always. read more
