    House Chardonnay

Boise Thai Noodle House is without a doubt the best Thai food in Boise. I would totally gatekeep this restaurant because it's that good, but judging from how busy they always are the secret is out. This place is always packed and has a bustling line of Uber Eats drivers waiting for pickups as well. It's a small space with only around 15 tables, but If you end up having to wait for a table, it's absolutely worth it. My favorite Thai soup is Tom Ka Gai so I'm a bit of a snob about it; their version does not disappoint! The Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) are exceptional with authentic Thai flavors and the perfect level of spice. They are also happy to adjust the spice levels to your taste. Their house Chardonnay was quite good for an affordable wine. Every table had fresh flowers which was a charming touch. I will definitely return again and again.

Probably the best Thai food we've had. Everything was fresh and quality. Service was simply wonderful and the atmosphere was super welcoming. We would definitely come back next time in Boise.

Easily a local favorite! Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and outstanding service! Food: 5/5. We started with the coconut shrimp. It was the best coconut shrimp I've had and the spicy sauce was a great addition. My husband got the Kao Soy which looked amazing, although was a little messy to eat. I ordered the Panang Curry, which was absolutely delicious, although quite spicy. Atmosphere: 5/5. The inside of the restaurant is stunning. Very clean and the perfect ambiance for a date! Service: 5/5. Both of the waitresses we interacted with were extremely nice and friendly. We were seated quickly and our food came fast as well. There were a lot of to go orders that were dealt with quickly as well and received great service as well! Kid friendly: 2/5. We did not bring our kids and would not recommend bringing kids here either. It is definitely a nicer vibe and I'm not sure kids were enjoy it.

I haven't had Thai food in a very long time since there hasn't been many places to eat at here in Idaho compared to other places I've lived. I've eaten here a few times now. The workers are very nice and welcoming and the food doesn't take that long to arrive. It's definitely a go to place for myself and my family even though we live 30 minutes away.

My wife and I recently moved to the Treasure Valley and we really like Thai food. We came here based on the Yelp reviews. Per their signage, they are now open on Sundays from 5 to 9 pm. We arrived right at 5. Located in a plain looking strip mall, it's not until you're inside that you see that it is nice. Soothing music is playing and the wood furniture is warm and inviting. There is what looks like a full bar on the right. Next to the bar are high tables, otherwise low tables to the left. It is not a large space but there were plenty of tables. We were the first ones in. By the time we left, it had filled up considerably. Our cheerful server took very good care of us, never letting our water glasses empty. My wife had the Pineapple Fried Rice and I had the Drunken Noodles. My dish was delicious; very flavorful and I loved the texture of the noodles. The spice range is 1 to 6. I choose 2, and it still made my nose run. My wife wished the rice was more spicy but otherwise really liked it. Portions are ample and we brought about half our meal home. The menu is rather small but it has most everything you would want. Currys, other protein dishes, noodle dishes, salads, and desserts. One Thai entree that I like and I didn't see on the menu was Prik Khing, or a spicy green bean dish. We will most definitely be back!

However, we had a double date planned and Kosta's was chosen for us. One of the best choices ever. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in; friendly greeting within seconds of walking in, calming colors of blue and white adorn every wall with charming tablecloths on each table, and cute decor. Service was immediate with a carafe of water and a huge smile. I loved the vibe! Ordered a German Hefeweizen that came cold and frothy. Next came the Greek salad with the most juicy, crisp tomatoes, green peppers and cucumbers, then heavily sprinkled with feta cheese, a pinch of capers, and a side of the best Greek dressing I've ever tasted. I was originally taken aback that there was no lettuce, but real Greek salad doesn't have lettuce! I had no idea. Hubby and I shared the Broiler Mix from the appetizer menu so we could sample multiple items. The Broiler mix has 2 chicken skewers, 2 beef skewers, 2 Kefta patties, 2 chorizo, 2 pitas, fries, tomato wedges and a healthy dollop of tzatziki. The pita tasted homemade; it was soft, thick without being too think and didn't taste chalky. The skewers were exceptionally cooked...tender, flavorful pieces of chicken and beef. The kefta (lamb & beef) patties had a nice texture, which was enhanced with the herbaceous tzatziki sauce. The only disappointment was the chorizo as it was overcooked and dry. It was easy to overlook as everything else was a shining star. We would go back in a heartbeat....totally made me want to explore more Greek food there!

The tzatziki is AWESOME, definitely get some, and their sweet potato fries are perfect. But the lamb and beef meatball sub I got was meh for me, personally. I was hoping for at least some taste of beef but it was overwhelming lamb, to the point I wasn't really interested in eating it. I would go there again to try something else, just steer clear of the meatball sub if you don't absolutely LOVE lamb - if you do, I'm sure you'll love it.

I moved to right down State St from the Local, so my parents and I have been here twice now…read more The first time was amazing food, but the service wasn't great, super rude and impatient. The reason we went back the second time was because we remembered how good the food was and how nearby it was too. The second time the food was still really good, but the service was HORRENDOUS. Brittney was such a ***** to me and my parents, my mom especially. My mom was complimenting her and something about the food, and she straight up just walked away in the middle of my mom still talking. And no it wasn't busy. It was towards the end of the night, there was maybe 2-3 other customers there. She acted like we were bothering her the whole time. Then once she'd leave us would just stand up at the bar flirting with the other guy working there and just ignore anyone else. Then on top of all of that, my dad tells me she added $10 onto her tip! FRAUD!!! I've attached photos as evidence. My dad still tipped her even though she was so rude and disrespectful. But apparently that wasn't enough for her and added $10 onto the total. I cannot believe that. And my dad tells me it was difficult to get his $10 back after calling and talking to the manager. He didn't get the name of the manager but he said that they were just making excuses and saying oh but she's our best server. Obviously not! Saying things like oh she must've just been really busy. Again, we were there when it was dead and about to close soon, no it was not busy. It's almost as if this business does this type of thing often because there was no alarm from the manager, then finally after much deliberation decided to send back the $10. Absolutely ridiculous. No : "I'm so sorry here's a free meal on us", or atleast a "here's a coupon or gift card for next time you come in", nothing. This is the type of thing that gets people closed down. We should report to the BBB. This is insane. And to not be offered anything to make it right is what really gets me. Like do they not want us to ever come back??? Not to mention tell everyone we know, etc. Yikes! And this is what we get for wanting to support local businesses instead of going to the big chains. What a bummer.
