Get ready to tantalize your taste buds! I visited this place on an early Sunday evening around 5 p.m. It wasn't too crowded, but it was bustling with DoorDash orders. I was introduced to this spot by DoorDash, and I was eager to try the restaurant for the fresh-cooked food experience. The hostess greeted me right away and showed me where to sit. Since I had walked over 2 miles to get here, I wanted to be seated rather than at one of the bar tables. If you're a fan of Thai food, this might just be your favorite place in Boise! It's got a nice vibe, and I noticed that the tables and chairs are cleaned after each visit. Everything is very clean and classy, even the restroom. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, but not too flashy. Fresh Spring Rolls with Shrimp 5/5 Spring mix, cucumber, carrot, cilantro, mint, rice noodles, and avocado wrapped in rice, served with peanut sauce or spicy Thai seafood sauce (add Shrimp for $2 extra). These are like a delicious, fresh, hand-held salad wrapped in rice paper. They're not fried, but fresh my favorite way to enjoy them. They also have Crispy Rolls, but I prefer the fresh ones. These are especially great on a hot summer day! They come with two dipping sauces: a peanut one and a lemony butter sauce. I know I'm different, but I like the lemony butter sauce instead of the peanut sauce. Pad See Ew 5/5 Stir-fried flat rice noodles with egg, carrot, broccoli in sweet black soy sauce, with your choice of meat. I tried it with seafood once and with veggies and beef another time. Always delish! Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) 3/5 Stir-fried flat rice noodles with green bean, bell pepper, Thai herbs, chilies, and basil, with your choice of meat. I've had mine with chicken, but this one's my least favorite because I thought some of the pieces were a bit too dry. I'm not sure what went wrong, but I didn't eat a few because they were tough. Since it was my second time, I didn't want to complain then, but maybe I should have mentioned it. Mistakes happen to everyone, so sorry for not bringing this up sooner. Slice of Cucumber Salad 16 oz 5/5 Thinly sliced cucumbers, red onions, and carrots, usually dressed in a light, sweet, and sour vinaigrette. This is a favorite of mine. To me a unique recipe! Fried Wings 5/5 Nice crispy, tender, and nicely fried chicken. Deep fried marinated Thai-style bone-in chicken wings served with sweet chili and sour sauce. So tender and juicy, yummy! Coconut Shrimp 5/5 Deep fried coconut shrimp served with spicy mayo sauce. Freshly made Sangria 5/5 Cold and delicious. The Game Changers: I appreciate that you can review your order before paying. I like the digital system, and what's more important, they ask for feedback right away. I think that's pretty cool and admirable. They want to know upfront if they've done anything that made you have a bad experience. I also like that they're linked up with Toast for loyalty reward points. Basically, for every dollar you spend, you can get a reward. I really think this is a great feature that the restaurant has that I haven't seen anyone comment on, but to me, it's a great benefit for the customer. Don't worry if you don't have a Toast account; I believe you can get one at their checkout process by providing your phone number. I already had a Toast account, so I might be mistaken. Just ask at checkout, and they will explain to you. They sanitize the tables after each use. They have chopsticks. The owners are from Thailand, and they have a great kitchen staff. The kitchen team includes Chef Wan and Chef Pronyanee. Chef Wan and Chef Pronyanee come from the northern province of Thailand. Chef Pitsy (Owner) is also from the northern province of Thailand. The restrooms are super clean. So customers and staff can wash their hands and keep the place as germ free as possible. I have gone to the restaurant three times so far and I think it's the one of if not the best Thai restaurant in Boise! I travel to Boise for work and now make it a point to eat here at least once each trip. The food is superb and the service even better. The standard pad Thai is really good with lots of big shrimp and veggies and it's a huge serving. I've also tried the fresh spring rolls as a meal and it was more than enough for a serving. My guest had the fried rice and he said it was also excellent and is on my list of things to try next trip. It's a small restaurant but it's very comfortable. Boise Thai Noodle House is without a doubt the best Thai food in Boise. I would totally gatekeep this restaurant because it's that good, but judging from how busy they always are the secret is out. This place is always packed and has a bustling line of Uber Eats drivers waiting for pickups as well. It's a small space with only around 15 tables, but If you end up having to wait for a table, it's absolutely worth it. My favorite Thai soup is Tom Ka Gai so I'm a bit of a snob about it; their version does not disappoint! The Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) are exceptional with authentic Thai flavors and the perfect level of spice. They are also happy to adjust the spice levels to your taste. Food was FABULOUS! My husband and I ordered the Tom Kha soup, panang curry, Pad See Ew, and mango sticky rice. The flavors were incredible - very bright and fresh. We ordered a glass of their Sauv Blanc and it paired very well with the Panang Curry and Tom Kha soup. They are very generous with their portions! The staff were knowledgeable and kind - even when they were slammed with customers! We even got to meet the owners - who were beyond courteous. They have ample seating and bar top service as well. The atmosphere is upbeat and very clean. My only feedback is that the restaurant can get very busy and a dedicated hostess may help with the flow of oncoming customers. read more

It was the best coconut shrimp I've had and the spicy sauce was a great addition. My husband got the Kao Soy which looked amazing, although was a little messy to eat. I ordered the Panang Curry, which was absolutely delicious, although quite spicy. Atmosphere: 5/5. The inside of the restaurant is stunning. Very clean and the perfect ambiance for a date! I haven't had Thai food in a very long time since there hasn't been many places to eat at here in Idaho compared to other places I've lived. I've eaten here a few times now. First time trying Boise Thai noodle house and had a very disappointing experience. I had the chicken Penang Curry which was a large bowl of mostly liquid with some peppers, snap peas and barely any chicken. Annoying thing was that it was actually quite tasty, just hardly any food! My wife had the chicken Pad Thai and got through half of it before giving up. Incredibly sweet, odd flavor and not an authentic Pad Thai. Also had barely any chicken so it's clearly a decision to skimp on protein to increase margin. I get it but still. Both left hungry which is never a good sign! read more

My wife and I recently moved to the Treasure Valley and we really like Thai food. We came here based on the Yelp reviews. Per their signage, they are now open on Sundays from 5 to 9 pm. We arrived right at 5. Located in a plain looking strip mall, it's not until you're inside that you see that it is nice. Soothing music is playing and the wood furniture is warm and inviting. There is what looks like a full bar on the right. Next to the bar are high tables, otherwise low tables to the left. It is not a large space but there were plenty of tables. We were the first ones in. By the time we left, it had filled up considerably. Our cheerful server took very good care of us, never letting our water glasses empty. My wife had the Pineapple Fried Rice and I had the Drunken Noodles. My dish was delicious; very flavorful and I loved the texture of the noodles. The spice range is 1 to 6. I choose 2, and it still made my nose run. My wife wished the rice was more spicy but otherwise really liked it. Portions are ample and we brought about half our meal home. The menu is rather small but it has most everything you would want. Currys, other protein dishes, noodle dishes, salads, and desserts. One Thai entree that I like and I didn't see on the menu was Prik Khing, or a spicy green bean dish. We will most definitely be back! read more

Our family came in last night right at 5:30 and it was popping off! Super busy here but we did snag one of the last 4 tops in the back. I had read reviews that the tables by the door are cold because the door opens so much so I'm glad we didn't have to deal with that. My husband said he saw so many pickup orders coming and going. Our server was super attentive and very nice to us and our children. I loved that the owner was going by to tables and checking in on his guests. Our food was delicious though the chicken satay was the weakest link. My daughter who is incredibly picky loved the crispy rolls so next time we'll just order her her own order of that. The coconut shrimp was a big hit with our older daughter as well. I loved the pad thai and pad see ew. Next time I would switch it up and maybe try the fresh rolls and a curry. Came in tonight to celebrate my friend's birthday. She has never been here and wanted to try it out! I did arrive first. The restaurant was chaotic with dine in guests and to go orders. I was sat shortly after one of the servers saw me. I just hung out till my friend arrived. It did take a minute for my server to greet me. After sitting there for a bit, she finally grabbed my drink order. I did also get crispy rolls started as well. My friend finally showed up and grabbed a Thai tea. I don't know if my server forgot to order my appetizer but she asked us again if we were interested in getting anything started. I happily reminded her about my previous order. "Oh ya" she replied with. Drinks and our appetizer were finally dropped off. It was uncontrolled chaos so she didn't grab our dinner orders for a while. But once she had a minute, she finally got our orders taken care of. For dinner I ordered yellow curry with tofu. The appetizers that we started off with were ok. The shitake mushrooms that were used in the rolls could have been hydrated a little longer. The texture was off. My yellow curry looked promising! I got a big bowl of it. After taking my first bite, I noticed the temperature was luke warm. My bowl was hot but unfortunately my soup wasn't. Hot bowls don't necessarily heat up soup. The soup had good flavor. You can taste the curry, lemongrass and coconut. It also had a good amount of tofu to it. But other than the broth and tofu, there's no substance to the curry. I got 2 small pieces of baby corn so basically 1 baby corn cut in half. The carrots were thinly sliced and added last minute cause they were hard still. I did get a good amount of onion. 3 pieces of potatoe. I posted a video of my curry and that's after eating a couple carrots, 1 potatoe chunk and some tofu. It was predominantly liquid. Our server was really sweet but very unorganized. She did a best as she could with the craziness that was going on. She was kind and grabbed a piece of cheesecake for my friend's birthday. She was also kind and grabbed me a to go cup. I wasn't overly impressed with my initial visit and I wasn't overly impressed with today's visit. We enjoyed this food so much last year and came back because we're in town. The atmosphere is still amazing and inviting. Today we took takeout. It was ready exactly when promised. The majority of the food today was delicious. Our papaya salad was so tasty and spiced exactly right. My pad Thai was perfect. The pineapple sticky rice was thoroughly enjoyed. The spicy basil beef was also delicious. Our fresh spring rolls were excellent. My only negative comment is the side of sticky rice costs a dollar with the meal, no problem, BUT this was hard rice. The ambiance is that of just an average strip mall restaurant. The seating is limited but the service is outstanding. It does not have, from what I noticed, a Buddha altar or a picture of the king. But apart from this standard items, this place reminds me of a Thai restaurant you might find in Thailand. Simple decoration with the focus on delicious food. So the place might feel generic but the food is authentic (and to a certain degree generic strip mall ambiance seems very authentic also) We have spent a lot of time in Thailand and love the food there. With one other exception, the Thai food in Boise is quite bland and inauthentic in my opinion. This place however was amazing. All our food was spicy and authentic with a delicious Singha to wash it down. They understand spicy here so be warned. It is not at the level it is in Thailand but it is more spicy than what Americans expect. Not pictured, but also delicious was the Roti with curry and the mango sticky rice. In summary, I love Thai food and I have eaten many dishes in Thailand. This place is like a little piece of Thailand in Boise. Awesome. We will be back many times. read more

Was visiting friends and we wanted some Thai food. Ordered to-go from here. Food was delicious. We had the crispy spring rolls, red curry with shrimp, beef noodle soup, Spicy Basil with Rice. All were delicious. We had asked for extra spicy on the curry but it was ok. Spring rolls stayed crispy and did not require re-heating.
