You know when Pho is good when you minimally add sauces after because what they serve you is already A++. The serving size, we only ordered a medium but it was so much, I was so happy! But one thing that I would say that they can improve on is their service, I pushed the button 3 different times (one to order appetizer cause we forgot to;, 2nd and 3rd time was to pay) and they didnt come to my 1st call which was ok since our main food had already came. Tuesday night 7:25 PM I just got up from my table and left this place after waiting for over 20 minutes to even be acknowledged sitting at my table to place an order. I'm sure I would've waited 30 minutes for them to even take my order. I wonder what time I would've been eating my pho if I did order. I have never got up and left a restaurant in my life. Another client waited as well to be seated and received a menu once he was seated, which I did not receive even after the 20 minutes This place needs to stop selling tea and focus on soup they're the only pho place in all of Nampa and Caldwell it seems. Waiting an hour to receive a simple bowl of pho is ridiculous. You guys need to fix something. If I knew how to make pho, I would be a millionaire since I would run these guys out of business easily I'm a local five star business owner in the area. I have been here in the past before it changed ownership a handful of times and I remember it being average. Not as good as other places. The other day I wanted to try this place again and was going to order a noodle soup with rare steak. I noticed that they are charging over $17 plus an additional $6.44 for a "large". That comes out to over $23 for a bowl of soup plus tax and tip which is completely outrageous. For comparison there are competitors in Boise charging $17 for a large. read more

This is by far the best pho/Vietnamese restaurant in the treasure valley! I'm sick at home today and whenever I'm sick I want soup...but I can be picky and more often than not, just some canned Campbells chicken noodle isn't gonna cut it for me. I enjoy pho and normally from here I get the chicken pho which is very good, but I wanted to do something different from the norm. I almost got steak pho but after seeing the description I opted for their beef stew with noodles as it said the broth contained tomato paste, lemongrass, star anise and cinnamon which sounded heavenly to me and also included onions, cilantro, limes and large pieces of carrots. I got a sunny side up egg on the side which I put in my stew for some added protein, and a large oolong tea which I asked if they could add honey to for my sore irritated throat and they were kind enough to add that for me. I ordered delivery through my Yelp app and it took a little while to get to me, but when it did, it was just what I needed it to start feeling better! The stew was so rich and flavorful, the carrots were so soft, the beef was tender, egg cooked perfectly and the tea was soothing ! I had a baguette of that delicious cheesecake factory wheat bread that you can buy at the grocery store and I warmed it up and soaked up some of the broth with it too which I highly recommend if you have the bread at home to do it lol I've been struggling financially lately like so many people these days, and I almost didn't place my order because of that, but I'm glad i went ahead and charged it. I didn't have any soup at home, and as lousy as I've been feeling these last few days, I really needed this no matter how much the delivery would cost. This place was pretty busy on a Friday night. Service was really good though. Easy order and good wait staff. I have been searching for the best Pho valley and this wasn't it. It's not bad and definitely will satisfy your hunger. I ordered the largest option. There wasn't a ton of noodles in there and it was mainly broth. The broth had a nice balance of saltiness and sweetness but it has that animal meat taste to it at the roof of your mouth and nose. It's similar to the Vietnamese pho house in Meridian. This is probably my 8th placed I've reviewed for pho and I still haven't found a great spot here in Idaho. I do like the presentation and the water they give you up front with the carafe. I'm not a huge fan of stainless steel bowls. I think they dissipate the heat more evenly and quickly losing the warmth of the broth. A few places I've seen have this and it just ain't great. I placed an online order for 4 dishes and paid $107 (more expensive than other places, but was willing to try) I drove there to pick up, and was told they ran out upon arrival (6 pm). I was very disappointed because I was really looking forward. I asked for a refund, and was told to text the owner because they were so busy. Came to this gem for lunch today. Even though it's hot outside pho always sounds good. The venue is very colorful. Lots of stuff to see everywhere. It is busy earlier for them so there was a lot of dirty tables everywhere. The gal was nice and cleaned one of the dirty tables off real quick for us. I ordered an appetizer of cha gio (egg rolls) and a medium pho today. The cha gio came out nice and hot! They were flavorful and crunchy. I was disappointed that it only came with 2 small pieces of lettuce. You normally wrap the egg rolls in lettuce. The sauce that came with it was good. The combination of the savory egg roll, the crunch of the lettuce and the sweetness of the sauce makes the perfect bite. The pho came out in a big bowl topped with a good amount of meat and green onions. I do wish the broth was a little hotter. It was hot but hot like it's been sitting in a pot and they grabbed the broth out of it. Other than the temp being ok, my bowl did come with a lot of brisket, steak and meatballs. The broth was very flavourful and rich. Service was ok. They were busy so I understand that they couldn't always be there but they did just drop our food off and never checked up on us. Used to come here often, loved the pho and thai tea, but our last visit we were served water with mold particles floating in it. At first we didn't notice because I think the residue had settled at the bottom and we needed to pour more water for it to surface, but after drinking the water and going to refill our cups was when we noticed it. Needless to say it really ruined our appetite. I was practically done with my pho at that point since I ordered a small size, but my husband (ordered a large) had only eaten a bit of meat and barely touched the pho besides that. We told the servers in a polite and quiet way (as to not disturb the other customers) and asked them if we could get a refund for at least my husbands bowl since he barely touched the food. The servers didn't seem to care, and logically who would want to keep eating after drinking moldy water! I feel like they had no sense of understanding. After talking to the servers and the manager, they settled on offering us a 20% discount which only took off around $3... Should've taken a picture of the water for this review, but I think this could have been handled much better by them because this is a serious health hazard, and we could've easily submit a report to health department. Out of all the pho places we have tried, pho 7 is my absolute favorite. I used to always stick to the beef, but one day I decided to try the veggie pho and it's my new go to. The broth is so delicious, the veggies aren't over bearing, and I love all the fresh toppings it comes with. My husband loves a bunch of the other dishes they serve and everything tastes amazing. If your kids like ramen, they'll like pho too. My kids love the noodles and if they're not full they'll drink the broth too. We're also huge fans of the egg rolls. We always include those in every order no matter what! I also recommend trying their chai tea and boba drinks. They're delicious and refreshing too! This is a nice addition to the Treasure Valley's Vietnamese restaurant community. Pho gets the hype and while I like it, I'm more partial to Bún Bò Huế, the speciality of the central Vietnamese city. Pho 7's version gets high marks. The broth, spicier and more flavorful than pho, was excellent. The beef and pork were good and there was a large assortment of herbs, bean sprouts and lime wedges to add in. They came in a nice wicker basket, which was a nice touch. Kristy ordered a bowl of Hủ Tiếu bò kho, a beef soup infused with lemongrass and star anise. It was also very good. Each table was stocked with bottles of sriracha and hoisin sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce and chile flakes. Service was friendly and one of the owners came around to ask how everything was. This was only the third day they were open and they had to close early on Saturday because they ran out of food. That was a nice sign to know that even during the coronavirus pandemic, people came out to support a new restaurant. Some dishes on the menu were not available because they didn't have some of the ingredients. They'll be able to better gauge what they need as they go on and I don't expect that will be a problem. Owner Vivi Nguyen's mother, Anh Tran, who came to the United States from Vietnam in her 30s, runs the kitchen and brings authenticity to the dishes. This was excellent. read more

The third teen took my order, was making boba then would stop each time a door dash order came in. Been here about five times and absolutely love eating here. I hope they really consider opening a location near Boise - although that would be dangerous as well since I would probably visit all the time, haha. As a local, not only is their pho is the one of the best I've tried in the local restaurant areas but they are always consistent with making the broth taste flavorful, savory and authentic. Their appetizers are delicious as well and I can tell they try to put effort and time to make sure each dish comes out optimal. Their spicy beef noodle soup (Buon Bo) is actually incredibly yummy. Perfect spicy level and the meat are so tender! I do think they could put more tripe in since I found like four small strips. Otherwise, not really a deal breaker for the price and quality I received. The staff was also super awesome. I would be a regular here any day. read more

Had nearly three bites of noodles in both small and medium bowl. She first mistakenly gave me a small instead of medium, which I told her was fine so she didn't have to go through any inconvenience. We kindly told the server about our bowl of broth lacking noodles and she said that they've been hearing complaints on small amount of noodles pretty often and offered us more noodles. They ended up charging us for it without letting us know it would be extra or change the receipt they gave to us before the extra noodles. When we asked them about it, the manager told us there was nothing they could do about it. It was $15 a bowl for broth and a few bites of noodles. The petty manager made sure to yell across the restaurant, "have a nice day!!!" to unhappy customers as we left. Rude and overpriced, no wonder they're understaffed.
