This is inside Carowinds in the Boardwalk area. I have the Carowinds dining plan so we like to go to different places in the park. This is one of the indoor dining locations which does mean AC in the summer and heat in the winter. On the dining plan, you have three meal choices a half size steak or chicken cheese steak and fries or a Caesar salad. They used to give you a full sandwich, but this size is much better. You still get plenty of fries. The day we were there, it was very slow to get food. I think we waited 15 minutes for our meal after ordering. The vibe is sports themed. It could use some touch ups visually. We saw peeling paint on some walls. Also, it could use some high chairs. We couldn't find any so just kept my daughter in her wagon the whole time. Not sure how this happens in an amusement park with lots of families. The food is good. I got the chicken cheesesteak. The chicken is tender and seasoned well. They use plenty of melty cheese and a nice thick bread to hold it all in. The fries are also seasoned and crisp. They are really good dipped in the cheese sauce which extra cheese for the fries is not on the plan. Also, there is not a bathroom inside. You have to go across by the Goldrusher exit or towards the Rock and Roller in County Fair. I've seen previous reviews mentioning the kiosks to order. They were no longer there when we last went. Also, I haven't tried it but have seen you can order ahead in the Carowinds app. read more

Food was not very good. My son loves buffalo chicken but couldn't eat the sandwich, something was off. They do give a lot of fries. Service is very slow, but it's like that most places at Carowinds. I haven't been on yelp in so long to write a review. The atrocity I witnessed today was so appalling I lost my appetite. The food? Great! The staff? Wonderful! Unfortunately, a man who was clearly intoxicated and should have been more worried about drinking some water was absolutely disgusting toward a young girl behind the counter. He was yelling, belligerent, and demeaning with his wife encouraging him all while having her baby strapped to her chest. The relevance, you ask? This man was repeatedly screaming about his personal friendship with the owner of this establishment. He demanded that he be given a side of shrimp with a meal that did not come with shrimp. The man and his family had the premium dining package complete with the bracelets but was still demanding a customization and extras that simply were not an option in the computer. I even thought about asking him if he would like for me to purchase a shrimp basket for him since he clearly couldn't afford it. After his interaction with the sweet girl behind the counter was done (and the manager complying to his demands), other people in the restaurant began making comments to him about how terrible his behavior was considering this young girl probably works for minimum wage and doesn't get paid enough to put up with that type of behavior. He began making fun of them, making comments about them having "blue hair" and fitting the "stereotype", making fun of their clothing and being generally disrespectful and rude. My point being for all of this-- if this is the type of friends that the owner keeps-- the type that is fine with his friend who is clearly too drunk, rude to his staff, rude to his other customers and name dropping him as an excuse for doing it-- then that's not the type of establishment that I would be comfortable spending my money at in the future. read more

Wow... I could not believe howHorrible horrible service. Everyone is full of attitude and unwilling to help. We stood in line for 25 mins, and when I forgot to claim my season pass drink, I was told by Melinda to get back in the 25 min line... ridiculous. All they had to do was scan it! Food was alright. The food was so good!! The fries almost remind me of Bojangles fries. So good. Fell in love with Texas Pete hot sauce here. So far it's my favorite hot sauce. I practically killed an unopened bottle. Four stars because the tables needed to be cleaned so seating was a bit limited. There was an employee who came out while my bf and I were eating to sweep the dining hall. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with onions and a side of fries. It was really good. I would recommend people to dine here. read more

The theme park chain has pulled in this outside food source . The food was acceptable but the service was ridiculously slow. We ordered fries and a sprite . Total was $13.62. I gave the cashier $15.02 . He returned the two pennies unclear on what to do with the change. We watched the kitchen staff fumble to put together orders. One woman could answer where the ketchup was (a bottle on every table ). We waited for 15 minutes for one order of fries.....which say on a shelf just out of arms reach the whole time. Wow this place has 2 stars. When you walk in there are 5 screens to place your order. They were a little complicated but it didn't take us long to figure it out. I like the fact that they have the drink station out so if you have the free refill cup you can just walk right up instead of having to wait 15 minutes for the next refill. There was a small wait to get your food from the next window but it's an amusement park. That's to be expected. However, the wait was not terribly long. We got the cheese fries and they were delicious!!!!!!!!! read more

The service here was incredibly bad and slow. Something when wrong in the system. And we ended up waiting for our food for 30 mins while we were first in line. The food did no taste good. The put the tomato sauce on top of the cheese. I don't recommend this restraunt. read more

Service is pretty bad. Workers aren't unfriendly just seem to have no training. you order and pay at one station, receive your drink at another station, and your food at another beyond that. however 1. no one tells you this and 2. there are no signs that indicate this, you kind of have to figure it out and ask other bewildered starving customers. Also it's just skinny crinkle cut fries with old bay seasoning. I wish people would stop using "crab" as an adjective when they really just mean they used old bay, it can be used for anything... read more

If could rate it with no stars, I would!! This WAS my favorite and ONLY place I ate at everytime we go (which was alot bc we buy season passes every year) since it opened in Carowinds, until today! Spent $80 on food and EVERYTHING was horrible, aside from my wife's Philly Cheesesteak. We had to send several things back and quality was bad in addition to horrible customer service... had to stand in 4 separate lines and wait forever for food that sucked!! now have to find another go to spot for my many trips bc I am NEVER going back here again!! read more

Checked this place out cause friends rave about it, unfortunatley it doesnt live up to the hype, they offer no combinations for any products served indiviual pricing for every item on the menu. Would have had better service from the dead in a cemetry, have signs posted rated #1 sports bar in north america by espn ... they must have gotten those guys drunk that did that rating. Dont even have lids or straws for drinks that are ordered with the prices they charging they could afford it. Too top it not even a restroom in the joint makes you wonder how the employees wash their hands. Honestly the worst $70.00 I ever spent next time just take the kids to McDonalds. read more
