The best shop I have ever been to. Incredible service ! I had a small hole in my Tesla Model 3 and I live about 2 blocks away from the shop. One of the mechanics walked with me to my apartment and patched the hole for me so I wouldn't have to pay for a tow! I had to go back about 2 weeks later to replace the front two tires, they easily completed everything under 30 minutes and back on the road. Top of the food chain Service, serious attention & very honest work. My 2022 Tesla Model Y had a flat on my front passenger tire. I also had a slow leak on my rear passenger tire. Both tires were fixed in under 10minutes with patches. The staff carefully lifted & jacked my vehicle careful with everything considering my battery is under my car. I paid $30 for 2 patches when most places would've wanted to charge me for a tire or basically more $$$. Not here @ Chico's, I will be coming back. I was pleased with their service & drove from Hackensack. They're open on Sundays so that's a bonus. read more

I needed to get new snow tires on kind of short notice and the experience and tires were both great. Friday I went in and paid a deposit order 4 new Bridgestone winter tires. Sunday morning I went in and got them installed. The installation was quick, not more than 20 or 30 minutes. Way faster than other places where I've had to drop my car off and come back. Tuesday I drove up to Vermont with a lot of the trip on packed snow and I had excellent traction the whole time. I'll definitely be back to swap them off again when winter is over. read more

I went here initially because I needed to replace a flat tire. They had a cheap used tire that matched the other three. After that, I have gone to them for a variety of things. I needed my a/c replaced. I've gone for a tuneup and issues with the check engine light. I referred my brother and he's brought his car too. I have no complaints about the service. They have a relationship with a local parts store who often can get the parts less expensively than other places. One thing I dislike is that you can't use credit/debit. It's pretty annoying. Also, there's limited parking space. All there is available is the street parking in front of the shop. It can get pretty crowded. Although those things are inconvenient, it's not enough to take off a star for. But maybe 4.5 would be more accurate. Overall, they do a good job with lots of different types of services--not just tires. read more

We hit a huge pothole on the way to NYC and made our way to this place I found on yelp. Found out our wheel was bent from said pothole. They found us a spare wheel they had in the back since we were from Pennsylvania and had the wheel and tire mounted and balanced within 30 minutes. I can't believe that I haven't given Chico's a proper shout-out until now. I've been using them for the past 15 years and they have never let me down. I never imagined just how many nails I could get in my tires driving around Hudson County over the years, but I have probably needed my tires fixed 8-10 times. Each time they have been able to get the job done quickly, even when there is a line in front of me. The price for fixing a hole in the tire is $15, and hasn't changed since I started coming here in 2003. Once I needed to replace the air pressure sensor in the tire. The dealership wanted to charge me $350 labor and the cost of the part, which was about $80. Chico's told me to get the part from the dealer and then charged me $20 to install it. Most recently I had a large nail in my tire (where do they all keep coming from?) There were two cars in front of me and I was still in and out in 40 min with a patched tire and only $15 lighter. I haven't had any major repairs done there since I've been happy with my regular mechanic, but from what I've seen I would trust them to do good work. read more

AWFUL! I purchased 4 new tires from them to install on my 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They installed for a fairly cheap price with a decent tire however my car is not screwed. The either messed up the balancing or alignment perhaps both. Or even did something worse. My car now vibrates and is undriveable. When I brought it back, they put it up on the lift and showed me some loose parts as to the reason why it was happening. It was complete BS. I think they are just lazy and/or dumb. read more

Like everyone else said, fast and cheap! I had one tire that was leaking and had to put air in it every 3 days. Read reviews and came here. Was in and out in 10 mins, and they only charged me 15 bucks. They didn't tell me why it was leaking or what they did, but who cares, its not leaking anymore :). Quick, honest and efficient. My tire had a minor puncture and it became flat overnight. I put some air on it... checked online for a good place to fix it and brought it here. It was hard to pull out since it was winter but they did and fixed it within 10 minutes. They don't accept card unless it's a charge of 15 or more so I had to go and get cash, in my car, came back paid the $10 and gave the guy five bucks for the quick and honest service. Highly recommend for flat tire repair. Also, price may vary according to how bad the puncture is. read more

Excellence service. (Muñequito) the mechanic did a very good job on my tires and brakes. I went to Sears Autozone in jersey city and they told me they won't touch my car, then I went to Pebboys in jersey city and same thing. They told me to bring it to the VW dealer because no one would be able to take out the wheel hubs. I went to the VW dealer in Manhattan and waited from 11:00am to 2pm just to tell me that they could not do it and it top of that charge me $87 for labor. (What labor?) anyways they said that it was impossible to take the hubs out without damaging the wheels and they needed to break the wheel and buy new parts and it will cost me $2,460 with labor and parts. I check in yelp for reviews on mechanics near me and I found Chico Tire. They took the damage wheel hubs out in less than 3 mins literally I was watching and I could not believe it. At the end I ended up paying less than $200 for the labor and work. They did an excellent job, quick, honest and low price. I would recommend this guys to Anybody. read more
