Super cute decor and food is tasty. You may have to get past the lack of knowledge of the staff but they are super nice. The drinks rang up more than listed on the door, and they were to be expected not the greatest but the frozen margaritas were 2 4 1 so not bad. They list them as soft serve but they are just Regular frozen. We had the chori queso and my bf had a taco and ceviche. I tried the Hawaiian fajitas. All good and plentiful. We tried this place in lieu of our usual go to today, and I must say it turned out great! Server was very nice, and our meals came out quickly. I ordered the steak and it was very flavorful and perfectly cooked. The restaurant itself had a nice fresh clean small when you weren't catching the scent of the different foods from the kitchen. Food is always good. This last time service was not great! Waitress was nice and not that busy, another waitress was also working as well. We asked for simple things like more chips, etc and the waitress kept for getting so we ended up having to get up 3 times to be like hey remember us! Also found out they charge you for not using cash "non cash adjustments". Didn't see it posted anywhere inside its only on the bottom of your receipt after it's already added in your total. First, they were out of Tamales!! What?! Salsa was about 3/5...water is terrible...kids enchilada can only do ground beef, on combination meals, you can only pick one meat so if you get a taco & an enchilada, both have to be the same meat...the taco shell was stale and the food was mediocre. The service was okay but had to find the server to order sour cream. They also charge you extra if you don't pay cash! We came to town for a festival in a park next door. Mexican food is typically an inexpensive meal with good food so we tried this place. We were seated by smiling faces right away, every employee seemed genuinely happy that we were there. There were 5 of us, we were immediately served 2 baskets of chips and 2 bowls of salsa, big win for me. Our drink orders were quickly taken, the ladies had margaritas and said they were strong enough they did not need 2. The food was really good. We all had something different and no one had any complaints. They had some choices that were not your every day Mexican dishes so we tried a couple of them. We also ordered shrimp ceviche. Quite a spacious place that seems like it hosts many local regulars. House Marg's were fresh and strong, and the food was better than expected. Bonus points for allowing us to get a to-go drink to bring to our next destination. Stopped in again for taco Tuesday/early dinner. Once again the shredded chicken and ground beef tacos were delicious and my wife enjoyed her shredded beef and chorizo tacos. This time since it was dinner we tried their margarita special, my wife had them before and said they were great. She was right- on the rocks with salt rim, the way everyone should have a margarita, they had alot of booze. The waitress could tell I wanted another but I want to be responsible. For dessert we got the flan my wife normally doesn't like flan, but said this was great; and I thought it may be the best flan I've ever had holy cow! The service was impeccable. Ok. I am a BIG fan of Mexican food and I love love the atmosphere to start with. It is always nice to walk into a brand new clean restaurant. Service was excellent. Even though new employees getting trained I felt like they are doing a great job. Now the food. Ahhhhh. Amazing Chicken Chimichanga. I like mine with grilled chicken not shredded. It was perfect. Not burnt and not soggy. And it happened to be a Thursday. They had Thirsty Thursday special. At the end I give these guys credit. Great food, happy people and great service. I highly recommend them. My family and I camp nearby and didn't want to cook so we came here on a couple of our trips and it didn't disappoint. They have 2 for 1 margaritas that are delicious and strong! We've tried their guacamole, shrimp quesadilla, and burritos and they were all very tasty. The service was good both times. I'm gonna rate this a 5 for several reasons, first the location is super close to my house, two the place is large and wide open and super clean three the steak fajitas and tacos are spot on, now for what is a little not so good the prices are high and the sangria was good but such a small glass. I would like to see a few more options to like a taco plates with 3 tacos rice and beans maybe sell the sangria by the pitcher. The inside is really nice and lots of seating. The food was very bland (I got the steak rice bowl) and the salsa is like tomato paste and the chips are not served warm. I asked for a hotter salsa and was given pretty much the same tomato paste. The queso was decent. What we found very strange was there was no social distancing with the placement of where you were seated. We could "sit wherever you want" and when we asked every other table they said no. Laredos isn't the best either but their food and salsa has more flavor. I won't return and my friend who went with me was on her second try and still didn't like the food after trying something different. Absolutely love the food here it's fresh, hearty, tasty and overall well done as a Mexican restaurant, in my experience they've met this standard every time! It's worth noting that I was raised in Tampa and I've mainly dated hispanics experiencing their food and culture, and I've tried numerous food trucks, mom-pop hole-in-the walls, and chain restaurants in Tampa that serve Hispanic food. Tampa is my jam when it comes to getting served authentic Mexican food. Chido's gets it right and is the only place in town I trust, heck I prefer Chido's over most places I've tried in and from Jacksonville till you get to Tampa. But they've undergone some change in management and when I went last since this change I ordered Chido's nachos and asked for more beef instead of shrimp and unless they changed the portions I'd say I was only given the regular portion of beef and hardly remember much chicken in there too. First time I was a bit disappointed in the food here, still tasted great and fresh like normal which is why I am giving 5-stars but we shall see where this new management takes them. read more

The design of this restaurant and the menu is beautiful. Tile work, minimalist menus, cute drinks, and soft colors make this place very instagrammable. Additionally, the salsa is very good! The reason that I give Chido three stars is because I feel that the bill was too pricey for what they offered. The food wasn't exceptional and the drinks were small and weak (compared to Mexican restaurants nearby). There was nothing special about the food, but the Southern California aesthetic and friendly wait staff make it something that baker county has never seen. Chido is special in that it brings a new look to small and sweet Glen St. Mary. However, I think that if Chido lowers a few prices, adds some unique items to the menu (like authentic menudo, micheladas, mole, tacos nopales, etc), and serves a margarita that actually makes you warm when you take a sip, they will be the BEST restaurant that baker county has. read more

Wife ordered a Chimichanga, got a Burrito. I ordered Steak Fajitas, with no Guacamole . Got Guacamole . Salsa had no flavor. Margarita had no flavor, or Alcohol. Had to ask another waiter for a take out. Employees arguing in kitchen, and register employee, complaining about waiter's. Explain's why we never tried this place, and leave Baker County to eat out. This place was meh. The decorations are really nice and it has a nice atmosphere, but the good does not outweigh the bad. For starters, the queso was watery, after costing $7.99. The chips and salsa are good, but my meal was not. I ordered the Mexican style tacos, which I thought came with rice. I had to take stuff from our table to make it taste decent. Next, they messed up our orders several times, including the gluten-free ones that were specifically ordered with no flour. The straw that broke the camels back was the COVID-19 restrictions, because there were none. None of the staff were wearing masks, only one server was wearing one.
