My family and I go to Larado Mexican all the time. Their food is fantastic. I normally get the Al Pastor tacos that are delicious but this time I decided to try something different and I got the Quesa Birria tacos and they were delicious too. My husband got the Fajita Burrito with Rice and Beans and he said it was really good. My son got what he always gets which is the El Jefe Burrito and he loved it as always. My sister inlaw got the Texas Fajita Nachos that she gets every time we go and she said they were really good as always. My Mother inlaw got the Chicken Fajitas which she always gets and loves. My niece got the Carnita Burrito and said it was really good. My Father inlaw got Combo plate C4 which is one taco, one enchilada and one Burrito and he said it was very good. Plenty of parking spaces at this strip mall location. Inside was like a fiesta. Good music playing with lots of action and people. The A/C was having a hard time during our summer heat so it was a bit warm inside. Service was very good and so was the food. I ordered the fajitas and forgot to take a photo. read more

Something happened (maybe the good chef left for Mexico or died during Covid) the flavor palate completely changed when they re-opened. Camping nearby and was told this place is great so we came for Friday night dinner. From the outside, it's pretty low key but as soon as you enter, you're met with classic Mexican decor! The restaurants busy but we were sat right away. Service was great, very attentive and made sure our chips and drinks were always full! I had the carnitas and they were delicious! Super flavorful and juicy! The rice is yummy too. My friends had the Texas fajitas and they raved about the flavor of the dish! Their meats were cooked beautifully and well seasoned. And the portion was huge! Hubby had the grilled steak burrito and it was similarly flavorful and fresh tasting. This had the feel of a neighborhood favorite! Highly recommend! read more

Was seated promptly, and was slightly depressed when my server told me they had no draft beer. And their selection of bottles on-hand was less than impressive. At least Dos Equis Amber was one of the meager offerings. Chips and salsa were OK, salsa could use a bit more spice and flavor. Ordered the Burrito Combo, which has one steak and one chorizo burrito. The steak one was very good, but the chorizo burrito was underwhelming. No spice to the chorizo, and a hint of slightly overcooked flavor. Add to that my beans were super runny and the rice was bland. Decor is pretty typical for a Mexican place and service was quite good, aside from the fact that my server called me "Bro" throughout my entire meal. Several people recommended this restaurant a little tiny little store front in a shopping center. You miss it if you drive too fast. But I could tell by the numerous cars in the parking lot that they were there.walked in and was seated right away. Took a few minutes to get our order taken, but the girl was really busy with other tables. While we were sitting there, people just kept on coming in. It was lunch time so is expected. Chips and salsa were o k. Jalapeno poppers were good, but they gave no kind of sauce for dipping or plates. Wife's quesdilla was burnt but manageable. My grilled chicken breasts came with no topping. Unless you wanted to pay extra most Mexican restaurants, put some kind of cheese on this particular dish so I ate it by itself. It was very dry.. We were never asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks. Folks that recommended this restaurant were surprised at how our service and food was. Nothing fancy on the outside, but some of the best fresh-made Mexican cuisine I've eaten. They are very reasonably priced and authentic to the point that they are FAMILY-owned and RUN! I suppose since the drinks during happy hour were so inexpensive, my only complaint were the drunk men at the booth behind us. One man was so drunk his fly was completely open and disgusting enough, he goes commando. Eww. Thankfully, before our meal was delivered to our table, they were asked to leave. This is authentic Mexican food and very very good. My husband always gets the Chile Relleno. He's absolutely hooked on this dish. I sometimes get a chimichanga or try other menu items, but he always sticks to his favorite Our food has always been timely and hot and delicious. Service sometimes isn't the best, but when a restaurant is packed and there are people waiting for any table to open, you know they are busy as heck and are trying like heck to wait on everyone, but sometimes it's just impossible. This is completely understandable. Try it on a week night before everyone rushes in and you'll see a completely different excellent restaurant. Weekends and dinner rush time, if you're patient, are still excellent, but a super packed restaurant. By the way, they have an AMAZINGLY decorated restaurant on the inside! LOVE the booths! I don't normally leave reviews but today I felt the need. My daughter, granddaughter (5) autistic and nonverbal grandson (3) meet a friend for lunch her. We have been to several Laredo restaurants but this location tops them all. Not only was the food excellent and portions more than we could finish the staff was beyond great. Great experience. It was clean, we had chips and salsa almost immediately, the service was fast and friendly. Our food was out in less than 10 minutes and it really hit the spot. Where to start... The reviews here say "the best" well that's not what my experience was tonight. I came in (first time here) and was asked if I wanted to sit in the main dining area or the bar. I said I'd like to sit at the bar, so the young lady said go ahead and walked away. The bar is not visible from the front entrance that they have you enter in so I had to stop her and ask where the bar was. She just pointed over my shoulder as she walked away. I found the bar behind me around a corner. I sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender who was friendly and quick to get me a drink. I ordered the burrito and I was not at all impressed. It was very bland and over priced. The drinks were well made and arrived quickly. The bar area was a mess and I suspect the kitchen is really messy if the bar area Looks like that. read more

I've been to this place many times and it's a usual spot when I am in the area. I usually get the quesadillas or the burrito verde which is really good if you like medium salsa with a little bit of a kick. The queso is good and the service is pretty good. I've never had bad service here. read more
