Nice atmosphere where the booths were big and not crowded. Our waitress was excellent and kept an eye on us without being overwhelming. Since it was Tuesday, of course we had the specials. What do you expect, TACOS. They were amazing. We have been trying different Mexican restaurants over the last few months and these are right up there with my favorite tacos. Highly highly. Had great expectations that turned out to be another Mexican restaurant letdown in Jacksonsville. Should have stuck with El Mariachi Mexican Chapin Restaurant down the street. Started out with very good service, chips & salsa along with a menu and drink order. Make your own combination plate ground beef is the only beef choice on this plate and chicken. I arrived with a friend to eat here for the first time at 3:30pm on a Tuesday in December. We saw the day's special and ordered tacos and a margarita for Happy Hour. There were 2 other tables with people at them not including ourselves. We were served complimentary chips and salsa promptly, which were pretty good. The chips were warm, thin, fresh and salted. The salsa is pretty spicy, we could see the jalapeño seeds mixed into it. I like spice but this was a little too hot. We waited a while to make our order due to the waitress being inattentive. When we finally got our food, I will say this, everything was fantastic. The food was top notch! However, we never received our margs. Our waitress was also the bartender and every time I peeked up at her over the booth, she was turned away from us and watching tv with one bar patron. We finished our food and eventually she came to ask if we needed anything. I asked for the check and to not be charged for the margaritas as we never received them. She apologized and returned with drinks to go. For being a slow afternoon, we were expecting a little more attention. And to not receive our drinks after the long day we'd had, it would have been nice to have them before and during our meal and maybe we would have ordered 2. Once again another delicious meal. We opted to sit outside and the beautiful weather more than made up for the sounds of blanding blvd. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the choripollo which was something I've never tried before. It was definitely an odd dish, but the chicken was seasoned extremely well. Went here with my car club after an event at the OP Mall. We had a large party of about 16 people. The restaurant did a great job of accommodating everyone and quickly put 2 tables together to make us all comfortable. The vibe is very relaxed and everyone was very comfortable to order. The waitress was nice but she did seem to be a little overwhelmed with the party size. To be fair everyone ordered a variety of dishes. I picked up a takeout order from this location on April 4, 2026. When I got home, I realized the order was incorrect. This is the second time this has happened, so I called the restaurant to let them know. I spoke with the cashier, who translated for the manager. Because it was after closing time, they told me not to eat the food and to bring it back uneaten the next day as proof before they would issue a refund or remake the food. I explained that this was not reasonable, especially since my daughter is type 1 diabetic and cannot simply skip a meal. She needs to eat. I asked for a refund or credit and even offered to provide a photo or video of the incorrect order, which I shouldn't have had to do in the first place. This was still refused. The attitude during the call was dismissive and unhelpful, and there was no effort to accommodate or show concern. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters. Between repeated incorrect orders and the way this situation was handled, I will not be returning. read more

Went in to the restaurant today for lunch instead of using door dash. First, I noticed how clean it was. One of the ladies was even cleaning the baseboards. I was immediately seated and the server was there with chips and salsa to take my drink order. On my previous review I said the salsa lacked spice but that was definitely not the case today. It was so fresh and spicy. I ordered the taco salad as my meal with ground beef. It was absolutely delicious. Full of meat, black beans, pico, some beautiful lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. Stopped by for the first time since this building was a different restaurant out of curiousity. I always assumed this restaurant was owned by non Hispanic people and I wasn't interested in a less than authentic experience. Well I'm glad I decided to go because it was delicious. I had the carne asada, which honestly has never been amazing at any FL restaurant but I keep trying to find a place who makes it like home. The beans and rice were flavorful and yummy. I had a No Manches margarita that was really good. The chips were thin and crunchy. The salsa a perfect blend of flavor and heat. I didn't need to doctor it up at all. What a delightful and delicious lunch trip just over the bridge today to "No Manches" restaurant. This establishments interior was bright, clean and comfy. I sat at the cozy and cool bar area while watching NCAA basketball and enjoying the fajita special of the day for this first time visit. Finally, a way to get some good ol' Tex Mex style food in Jacksonville. The service was prompt, thorough and polite. The vibe was casual and fun. And our fajita platter was enough for two! I liked the queso dip, but I feel that my margarita on the rocks lacked flavor in comparison to my husband's delicious frozen one. The salsa was tasty and flavorful (although I could've had more spice to it), the rice and beans were pretty bland. These little "misses" were what kept me at 4 stars though. The service was extremely lackluster, the food came out lukewarm, and the queso had a skim on top, which means it sat somewhere for several minutes before it got to us. We ordered queso dip for an appetizer never received it until after our food arrived then we had to ask for it. Although I prefer my salsa a little bit chunkier, the flavor and moderate heat made up for it. Service was friendly and prompt. No Manches serves pretty decent Mexican cuisine, the service is excellent, however the ambiance can become more adult like. First time I went there a man had pissed his pants. It's kind of disturbing when I'm trying to enjoy dinner with family. The 2nd time I went there, there were a lot of folks drinking a little too much, especially when you have grown men coming out the restroom still zipping up their pants in the dining area. We have queso fundido chorizo on point, the empanadas the fajitas and some tacos. All good and all hot and fresh. This is a place that I will not recommend. We had a party of 12 and we were sited quick (place was not busy). We waited 10 minutes for someone to take the order of the drinks. We even order at the same time as we waited so long. I was hyped about my order as esthetically, looked good, but it was bland, vegetables were cut too thick and needed some flavoring. We were driving by looking for a new local place to try and we saw this. When you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff and a colorful nicely decorated dining room. I particularly liked the barrel tables with the lazy Susan in the middle. My friend had the trio fajitas, which looked OUTSTANDING!!!!! They were generous in the portions but stingy on the wraps. You only got three, not nearly enough for the generous portion. The spinach quesadilla was very good just stingy in the spinach. The salsa was fresh and had great flavor!
