I was so happy to be referred to Kinjal last week. I had two wedding events on Saturday and needed an American/Indian fusion outfit to go from one to the other. Finding Indian clothes is never easy for me. In fact I almost always dread it. I have a wedding I need to attend next week and I yelped a few places to see if I can find an Indian outfit. I came across Chiffon & Spice and contacted Kinjal. She was super easy to communicate with, responsive, and very patient with all my questions. She set up a day and time I could come try on clothes. I had noticed that she may not have sizes for me and she didn't even skip a beat-she just told me to still come and we can find something I like in my size. I was super skeptical-Because based on my experiences, Indian clothes are not inclusive of women of different sizes. I'm not your typical "skinny" woman. I have larger arms, thighs, and broader shoulders. Kinjal never once made me feel large or that she couldn't custom make an outfit for me. Instead she took a significant amount of time re-assuring me and telling me she can make an outfit just for me. She let me try on so many options in the boutique-and even though they didn't fit me-she shared which ones would look great on my skin tone etc. her shop is gorgeous and so clean! her style of clothing options is vast and she can cater to really anyone. She helped me take measurements because I have no family around who could help me. In my honest opinion, I know custom made outfits are pricey, but, I would come back to Kinjal any day. She even did a matching outfit for my baby. The outfits came with enough time to schedule alterations as needed. If you are looking for a shop that is all inclusive of different sizes, and another boss woman who works hard and tirelessly to make sure her customers are satisfied then look no further. I had the most delightful experience working with Kinjal to find appropriate attire for an Anand Karaj ceremony . As someone who has never been to an Indian wedding I was initially skeptical about buying something that I would likely only wear once .
