I was craving a sandwich and esquites. Chiki Fruit and Bionicos checked both boxes. They have a bunch of juices, bionicos, smoothies, and bowls. I ordered the Ham and Panela Sandwich, Esquites, and Tropical Salad. Everything was delicious and fresh. The Esquites were very rich in flavor and the Tropical Salad weighed a solid two pounds.

My favorite Mexican juice shop, Chikis is woman owned and operated and serves up fresh juices, smoothies sandwiches and all your favorite tosti-loco type snacks. I've catered sandwiches and bionicos and fruit platters, they make the ordering process easy and everything is very fresh. We often just stop in to see what they have in the grab and go case: fresh cut mango, coconut water, pomegranate seeds and salads. They can top the fruits or cucumbers in chamoy, tajin, lime, or customize however you want. This visit, we ordered a sandwich and we wanted a side of carrot sticks, they had no problem cutting them up and packaging them nicely for us. Everything is very well priced and there's a parking lot so it's easy to be in and out. The center they're located in isn't fancy but the store is more of a to-go ambiance anyway. They also do the Edible Arrangements and I saw a sign that mentioned they're starting to offer juice cleanses. Such a neighborhood favorite, happy to have this hidden gem right behind my house.

Okkkk sooo saying that im addicted to this place might be an understatement. I love everything here from the service down to the single scoop of ice cream. My favorite thing here is the strawberry mango diablito ! Chefs kiss ! Don't believe me just try it ! You will NOT find a better diablito in the city. P.s. my mom is a big Raspado fan and she said "they don't miss" just go nowwwww !!!!!!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I've been coming here for you. I called one Friday afternoon to order and asked if they can deliver to my father's funeral the following Monday down the street and the young lady did not hesitate!! Truly grateful for them. Everyone loved the fruit, juice and bionicos! The latest item on menu that is delicious is their chicken sandwich!

I was craving for something light and delicious. So I stopped by this place to get their yummy oatmeal with chia seeds. When I ordered it they ask me if I would like some fruit toppings and honey. I said yes please. The food: The oatmeal was so creamy, cool and delicious!! I'm so delighted with each spoonful of deliciousness that goes in my mouth!! I'm especially happy with my treat on this hot November day! Yes! It's November and it feels like summer but I feel myself cooling down. I also ordered 2 flans to go for my friends! They totally LOVE the flan here!! Staff: Is very friendly and kind. Conclusion: If you're craving a snack that delicious, come here! They have so many delicious options to choose from. If you're feeling hungry they have delicious tortas! They're good! It's a small store inside a shopping center, so make sure you don't miss it while driving down the street.

I absolutely love the symphony of flavors with their Thai Peanut dressing and their Sweet Sriracha Vinaigrette- currently salivating as I'm writing this. Their salads may be a bit pricey but for the portions they give you and how consistent the quality is, I'd say it's worth the love they put into it. Their salads NEVER miss. Even though there have been rare hiccups like when they accidentally forget an extra dressing or forgetting to include another topping, Manager Simone Agee always makes it right by making sure to include credit for my next order. Their app is fairly easy to use and I love the convenience of being able to order ahead of time for both pickup and delivery. They always keep the inside clean and staff have great customer service and are friendly. They've been able to keep me a loyal, happy customer. I think it is way too doughy compared to typical focaccia. I like my focaccia airy, with some bounce. This one was like a dense bread. Definitely not my forte for having focaccia. You're able to see in my attached photo just how thick and dense it looks. The salmon bowl itself was pretty refreshing. I think the dresssingggg was perfectly tailored to the bowl. Not too acidic, not too sweet, not too salty. It dressed the bowl up real nice. The salmon was tender, nicely cooked, not chewy-- I hate when I get cheewwwyyy salmon I want fish not gum. The rice and sweet potatoes were perfect! Absolutely a nice bed made for the salmon to lay on. I tried the Shirley temple it's way too sweet, more grenadine than anythang. I just optd for half unsweetened tea & half of their lemonade. It was average. The cranberry cookie was pretty good! Not something I usually lean towards but I was wowd to taste how good it was. Cranberry gave it that nice kick of tang on your tongue. Service was friendly, I ordered through the kiosk screen. It's clean inside and in the restroom as well. Plenty of parking in the plaza.

I decided on the chicken skewer meal. That will run you about $20. The meat was tender, the hummus was delicious and homemade, the garlic sauce was exquisite, and the rice clearly had saffron in it. The pita bread that they served with the meal was definitely homemade and delicious. All in all it was a $20 well spent. If you're in downtown Long Beach on Pine avenue, I highly recommend going to Saffron for some excellent Mediterranean fare. Give them a try. You will be happy you did.

Sausages didn't seem homemade but were very tasty. I ordered the Eggs Noni, which is a version of Eggs Florentine, plus a side of bacon. The Eggs Noni came on two pretty hard small sourdough discs. I had difficulty cutting through the crust with a knife. There is a lot of cayenne in their hollandaise sauce, not my favorite version. The thick slice of tomato was the highlight. Side of bacon $6 for two measly pieces - overcooked and too crunchy. I could tell the bacon would have been good if it was more on the meaty/chewy side. This came with a potato pancake which was like mashed potatoes mixed with cheese and then fried. Service was okay, I think because it was pretty busy. They may need more staff to help the servers with drink refills and to check in more frequently. Lastly, our table was very wobbly and we had to fix it with sugar packets otherwise our drinks would have toppled.
