What a great dentistry ! They're located on Child Haven campus with Positively Kids. Our son doesn't do well at medical appointments. He usually becomes combative. I was concerned going in as he doesn't allow us to brush his teeth and rarely brushes his own. Last time, getting just a simple look at his teeth was impossible. Our hygienist was so calm and child-centered, that our son didn't resist at all. He initially appeared terrified, but I was nearby and the hygienist remained incredibly calm, was very supportive and explained each step. Our first fully successful dental visit! They charged my insurance for dental cleaning and adding flouride. My son did not receive any of those!!! They did a FRAUDULENT CLAIM Quick run down how the appointment went. X-rays, assistant grabbed a clean tooth brush with nothing on it and brushed his teeth real quick, asked if I wanted him to have fluoride said NO. dr. came in. Looked at x rays, put gloves on and proceeded to look in his mouth and then say all good no cavities. I had to ask the dr about his extra tooth coming in behind his baby and she said I can't do anything until the tooth erupts through the skin. Then the appointment was done in less than 10mins. No tools were used just a finger in gloves to move his mouth around and feel the tooth growing behind the baby teeth. Make sure you get a print out of the services they will ONLY be providing that day or video tape the appointment because the company is stealing from their patients. read more

I've left a total of 5 messages over the last month for a follow appointment to complete treatment for my 9 year old and have received zero calls returned. Two voicemails have been left on the sedation line, two emails have been sent "urgent" to the sedation department through calling the main line, and one "urgent" message was sent to the "office manager" to return my call as well. Full story: made an online appointment 1/26, filled out all online paperwork. Arrived 1/27 30 minutes early, was told there was no record of my appointment and I had to complete all information again and my personal information was nowhere to be found. Where did it go? My social, address, everything, just lost?! My son was taken for x-rays and sent for his cleaning prior to the office verifying his insurance and I was not provided any cost information. I asked for them to confirm my benefits prior to proceeding with the cleaning and they were unable to verify with my member ID so I was forced to provide my social security number on a scratch sheet of paper in an already uncomfortable and unprofessional environment. Once they used my social, they found the benefits and proceeded (again, after x-rays were already complete). The dentist and techs were incredibly kind. There were issues in all quadrants and they gave an appointment to return in the afternoon for treatment, my son had no pain and adored the treatment team. When I requested a list of the treatment completed and treatment remaining it was clear the office manager was annoyed. When reviewing the charges the 4th sealant wasn't listed and I rightfully offered the information so they were paid for all services rendered. She argued it wasn't completed and I sent her back to verify, sure enough, it was done. When it was time to pay my bill, I was informed that they must keep my credit card on file. Total due was $258. They required me to fill out a credit card authorization form where I was required to hand write my credit card number down as opposed to a swipe or tap. Why would I want this on file when my social, and personal information has already been lost? Never has this happened in any medical appointment office ever. Not for thousands of dollars in medical bills, let alone $258 dollars. It was required despite my reluctance. I travel for work and told them I'd call to make the next appointment. After weeks of calling and 15 minutes each call I still don't have a follow up appointment. Additionally, I was over-billed by about $100 based on my EOB from the insurance company. I called and was told that they hadn't been paid yet so they wouldn't be issuing a refund. To say this experience has been underwhelming, disappointing and potentially discriminatory would be an understatement. I cannot imagine this business refusing to reschedule all returning patients, yet each time I call the new patient line someone pleasant always answers. I feel for the dentists and assistants that do good work here as the office manager and scheduling staff are negatively impacting the business and delaying treatment for children. Please read Yelp. My situation is not uncommon unfortunately. I will have to drive to the office to make the next appointment and share this information in person as I cannot imagine that the dentists are aware of how poorly their staff in running their business. *** I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE *** If I can give this place -5 stars I would! I brought my daughter here for the first time and the moment I walked in I knew I made the wrong choice. The office did not smell clean AT ALL, it smelled musty! But I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Getting walked in just after checking in, the receptionist proceeds to walk my daughter and I to the chair (that seems like it hasn't been wiped down in months and had a huge gash on the side.) I specifically told the receptionist/assistant that my daughter has a fear for the dentist and gets anxiety. Prior to brushing her teeth, the assistant lets my daughter touch the brush with her dirty after school fingers and then goes straight into her mouth. My daughter obviously being uncomfortable and no one attempting to calm her nerves, the assistant proceeded to be very unkind and impatient with her. When it's time for X-rays, she literally had my daughter gagging on the film. Instead of her pulling it out of her mouth and explaining the process, she kept shoving it deeper in her mouth! Another assistant had to interfere and assist. After that was completed I said, "thank you for helping" and she walks straight past me with an upset look on her face. The Dr then arrived and did not bother introducing herself to my daughter or I. She sits and attempts to began working but immediately becomes impatient with my daughter as well. No one ever tried to calm her down or talk with her about the process of anything! Not once did they show any sympathy towards her. For being a pediatric dentistry THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO WORK WITH KIDS. All they did was traumatize my daughter more. I've been coming to this place for years. Depending on the dentist the service can be so-so. I have finally decided to switch to a different doctor. The wait times can be ridiculous. They're quick to get you in for the X-rays but for the doctor to see your child and then do the dental work takes forever. You usually see one doctor with about 5 patients hoping around. The scheduling is the worst thing there! They always say they're going to call for any follow up treatment and they never do. I had called after 2 weeks of not hearing from them and they would transfer me to the scheduling department and no one answers so you leave a message and even then no one calls you. After a month I got through to someone and scheduled something. Weeks later I get a call about scheduling my daughters appointment. I told The lady I finally got through to someone to schedule that so no need. Do to their lack of follow ups on scheduling, by the time they get to you, they're 2 months out on bookings. My 5 year old son suffers from bottle rot. He previously had a lip tie and a tongue tie and has a lot of trauma to the majority of his teeth. It's a major sensitive topic for myself as I feel a bit of failure set in when I see his baby teeth so decayed. Dr. Casey and his Dental Asst were so sweet and gentle. They quickly examined my son and identified key factors in restoring his smile. They took all the pressure off of being in a high pressure situation. My son asked if we could come back. I came in with my niece so that she could have a tooth removed as there was a problem with a "cracked root." This was told by the Doctor on Saturday, but we weren't able to have the procedure done until Monday. Upon arrival, we checked in, and were told everything would be fine. We arrived during their lunch break, I purposely arrived 30 minutes early should there be any problem checking in. I stepped out to buy some water, and upon returning I was told by an older lady she needed to be assigned to the office to get the work done. Understandable. After doing that, the older lady returns and tells me I needed a letter from her mother (my sister) to complete the work. She picks up the phone and proceeds to leave a voicemail while my sister is calling the insurance company to assign her as we were told. When I told her that was the reason my sister didn't pick up I thought the lady would wait to call back, or explain what was going to happen now. She ignored me and continued to look at her monitor. I sat down and once the call was completed and my sister confirmed I went back to her and told her. She went to the back for a couple of minutes and told me I needed the letter or the doctor would not complete the work. I explained my frustration to her, she said "sorry, everyone here should know the same things" and ignored me the rest of the time. It wasn't authentic, she was rude, impersonal and as you can imagine, really frustrating. Train your staff in service, or get people who are competent. It shouldn't take an hour for you to explain I couldn't be helped. Ignoring people is NOT communication. I don't have children, so my empty threats on never returning won't mean a thing to them, but if I can save anyone else a frustrating ordeal, or maybe open the eyes of the business owner on this poor service, then I'm ok with that. As a side note the person who arrived after me also had an issue, but I was busy talking with my niece so I don't know what was going on there. read more

Office staff is new and needs better management. They scheduled an appointment for 1 month out then day off they canceled it. They also did a referral and never did the work prior to referral requirements. Dental hygienist with blonde hair was so rude. I would never ever come back here. I feel sorry for the actual owner he is losing patients because of their poor staff. Don't even get me started on Saturday madness they don't want to work. They cancel everyone to leave early. This location is extremely pleasant. They ensure that your child(ren) are comfortable with any procedure that they are completing. The doctors have patience and explain everything thoroughly. The front desk staff are always friendly from the moment you walk through the doors. Standard paperwork due on your first visit (must fill out identical packets for each child). Waiting room is spacious with a few toys for kids and a tv for movie watching. The back has 4 chairs with another TV screen and theres a room designated for xrays (new patients). Orthodontist is only here on certain days so if you need a consultation itll be scheduled out. My neices enjoy this location - that speaks volumes. 5 stars - keep it up! read more

Worst dentist I have dealt with my son got dental work done and his caps fell off a few days later. I took them back to the dentist to see if they can fix them since they should not fall off in just a few days if he had done his job correctly. The dentist said there is nothing he can. And said that his teeth should be falling off anyways so why would I be so concerned about fixing them. First of all my son is embarrassed to smile and says that everyone laughs at his teeth. Office staff doesn't know how to answer basic insurance questions, I have two insurances one through work and a Military insurance first appointment I scheduled online when I get there they tell me the online system sometimes doesn't work and they don't see the appointment so they have zero insurance information i filled out even tho I have a confirmation text message about the appointment. I leave that visit they send a text message saying they can't verify one of the insurances I send them all the information and 2 weeks later we have a new appointment I call to confirm the insurance is fixed the lady on the phone says she has no notes on what I am talking about and says everything is fine. Sure enough we go there the next morning and again they are confused about the insurance and says we will get it verified. We go back for his appointment and the dentist should not work with children he doesn't introduce himself keep in mind my son is 6 he's not familiar with the dentist. The dentist just starts working on my sons tooth being pulled out. When my son is scared and crying he tells him "relax I'm not even touching you" The dentist should learn general people skills then learn to work with kids. We go back to the front when done and they front office tells us they don't take the Military insurance. Which as a front office and billing department that should be COMMON KNOWLEDGE. If this facility wants any chance they may want to invest in training so the staff knows how to do their job as well as if you want to work with children you might need to learn how to speak to them. read more

New patient! Upon my arrival I did not know what to think of this place as it was my first time seeing Dr. Delisle. I was greeted right away by the receptionist she was very helpful with getting my information into their system I didn't have to do a damn thing she took care of everything! Calling the insurance provider getting all the necessary information, etc. I walk into their rooms and see that all of the equipment being used are high end which put my nerves at ease. As a client that tells me that their staff are all well trained on modern dentistry equipment and how to properly use them. The last dentist I went to see had an out of date X-ray machine and made me retake X-rays 3 times and tried to charge me for it. That's what I get for trying to be cheap with my teeth. Meeting with the Dr. Delisle he told me I had an infected root canal that needed to be cleaned and redone with a specialist. The receptionist was able to recommend an endodontist in my network in only a few short minutes (again I did nothing and the receptionist took care of everything) At the end of the day I paid $10.00 for my visit and was extremely pleased with their friendly and knowledgeable staff. read more

Front desk clerical workers do not check your insurance information before they decide to book appointments. If I was aware first of what I can and can not do with my insurance. I wouldn't have booked a cleaning with them. I received a phone call saying I owed money when they never told me that my appointment wasn't covered under my insurance in the first place. You guys need to make sure you're following procedures. They also cannot keep track of their appointments since one of mine also wasn't on file when I had to drive down there as well. Worst dentist I've ever been to and won't be returning. I've paid more out of pocket due to the idiocy of the staff not checking and doing the correct procedures first before having a patient in. At this dental appointment, we were getting very frustrated at my granddaughter for being scared of everything but the dental personnel were very patient and understanding. Even with all her raucous, they told her to choose a toy out of their treasure box. Took my son for his 6 month cleaning. Everything went fine. I had to schedule a second appointment to get his cavities filled and capped. Every month for 6 months right before his appointment they called me to tell me that they needed to reschedule his appointment. The only available appointment they'd have was another month out. They did this every single month for six months at which time the 6th rescheduled appointment was after my son's next 6 month cleaning. I raised hell by the month 3 phone call and every month after they called to reschedule. I insisted not having to wait another month because I'm not the one rescheduling they were. I asked them to stay open later one day to accommodate my son so we wouldn't have to wait another month but they said no. When I asked why they were rescheduling the appointment each month I was given excuses like "they decided to close the office early." I stopped by one month on the day/time of my son's appointment to see if they really did close early but they were open. So they lied to me. Probably over scheduled that day or something. I also asked to speak to someone in charge because the receptionist who called me to reschedule said she knew nothing and could do nothing but schedule a new appointment. Take it or leave it. She REFUSED to let me speak to anyone in charge. She'd put me on hold, talk to someone and come back and tell me I could either reschedule for 1 month out or not, those were my only choices. There was zero customer service regarding these appointments and they refused to fix his cavities at his 6 month cleaning appointment. So my son had cavities growing/spreading for 6 months. Not fair to him. I had to find another dentist in order to get his cavities taken care of. read more

We use this dentist office for our 2 girls, and normally it's a good experience. I received a text 3 weeks ago that the office was open, and my kids were due for their cleanings. When I called to schedule, I was put on hold for about 10 minutes then sent to voicemail. Left my info for someone to call back, 3 days went by nothing. Called again and spoke to the receptionist. She took down my info and said they would call me back. Few more days go by still nothing. Called again today and receptionist said she got my messages but was having system issues and would call me back later. My son has been going there for quite some time for regular routine check ups, we then discovered that he would need braces and set up an appointment with the orthodontist Dr. Goodman. Let me express to you how kind and considerate and knowledgeable that Dr. Goodman is, he takes his time to express everything that needs to be done to a level where you can understand it. Not to mention he's pretty quick and efficient. When discussing payment plans for the braces we had to go up to the front office where we found the receptionist who is always smiling and very attentive and very kind and courteous. She answered any and all of my questions and she was very accommodating when it came to setting up an appointment that would fit around my sons school schedule and my schedule. I save the best for last which would be Jose, Jose is top notch class act professional and funny as well. Very nice kind considerate gentlemen. He went over everything in great detail when it came to the care of my child's teeth and the upkeep with the braces. I would highly recommend you considering this establishment for the care of your children's teeth as for I guarantee you that you will not be disappointed. read more

I paid $37 dollars for an X-Ray with consultation with their partner branch here: Henderson Children's Dentistry Pediatric Dentists 220 E Horizon Dr Henderson, NV 89015 United States At the Henderson location, I received a 1 minute conversation about why I can't undergo treatment or even receive an X-Ray. I asked for my money back, but they refused to refund me. This is an absolute disgrace! I paid for a service and did not receive it. A consultation consists of talking with me about my goals and how I want my teeth to look like, this is not a "I'm sorry, but due to your current medication, we can't treat you at this time". They referred me to their other branch (Childrens Dentistry of North Las Vegas) as they have the correct anesthesia to go alongside my medication. When i arrived at Childrens Dentistry of North Las Vegas, they had no knowledge of my visit at the Henderson location (I was told they would send my records there). After waiting 2.5 hours, I was told that they didnt have the anesthesia at this location and they couldn't do anything anyway because of the medication I'm taking. Not only did they refuse to give me a consultation, X-Ray, but they sent me all the way across Vegas for nothing at all! They wasted my time, my gas and they made me extremely angry for messing me around! Not to mention, they tried to charge me for my visit at Childrens Dentistry of North Las Vegas!!!!! Insane!!!! I have contacted the better business bureau to get my money back. If a company cares more about $37 than it's reputation, then that's a good red flag indicator.
