I have only wonderful things to say about Children's Learning Adventure! I am currently the Enrollment Specialist here at Children's Learning Adventure, and every day of working here is a joy. To start, the staff is amazing and cares so much about all of the children here. All of our teachers put immense effort and time into the curriculum and engaging with each child so that each child can feel welcome and at home here. They all have such positive and energetic personalities. I love working with these great coworkers! Amy, our center director, is phenomenal. She loves the students, parents, staff, and managers, and it's very evident. What I appreciate most about Children's Learning Adventure is that this is a place where children can come into a loving environment and get hands-on education, even at a very young age. Every day there is new curriculum that our teachers implement, and each activity has a very strategic learning objective. Children's Learning Adventure really cares about the growth and development of each child, and it has been a privilege to work for this school. I would definitely bring my kids to Children's Learning Adventure, and would recommend it as the best center to take your children for intentional and advanced early childhood development. I just started work at Children's Learning Adventure a little over a month ago and I really enjoyed and love it!!!  I love working with the teachers and helping them in their classrooms and the children.  The staff are smiling, super friendly and truly care for all the children that enter our building.  The staff cares about their students and their success in school and the future.  I have work in many childcare centers before and this one is definitely the best one I have work in.  I love that this center is not just babysitting the teachers have a curriculum they follow each day.  The children learn literacy, math, science, social studies, chance to do art and most importantly the children learn through play and exploration.  Children's Learning Adventure is very unique that the children get the opportunity to travel to specialty rooms.  Some specialty rooms are laboratory lagoon where they get to explore science activities.  Picture paradise with cameras and tv's  where they can pretend they are board casting a show.  Culinary where they get to be chefs and prepared food.  Imagination Island where children explore through play and many more.  I love working at this center with the teachers and most of all watching the children grow and I can't wait to see what the future holds. read more

Let me start with my son LOVES going in every day. I was a stay at home mom, until I had to go back to work. I got almost a year of just me and little man. We had a blast. The bar was super high when I was looking for where to take him for his "daily adventure." Criteria were simple; open, clean, fun, safe, happy place for him. As it turns out, not so simple to find. We did a grand tour of 6 places. The staff won me on our first visit with greetings and hugs for him. When we made it to the room he'd spend most of his time in, he took off to play with the other "friends" in the room. (Sure we have emotional drop offs occasionally but that is pretty rare.) We have been going to CLA for about a year now. I still love the staff. He still loves the staff. I love the hours. I love that I can have a place to take him for the day - and he wants to be there. They do arts&crafts, story time, language (English and Spanish) and NAP TIME!!! (OMG - my favorite!!) The outdoor playgrounds are his favorite - so awesome! They got my picky texture guy to eat all kinds of food. They taught him dance, being social, having fun, making art, but most important of all -- they wear him out every day! My son is 2.5 years old and has been coming to this school for about the last 6 months. I have really come to appreciate this school and the friendly staff that work here. My son can be very difficult at times, but the teachers here always handle him with patience and compassion. I call almost everyday to check on him and the teachers are always very willing to chat with me about how he is doing, what he ate, what activities he enjoyed, etc. I love all the fun things they do with the kids at the school. They plan special activities like water days and Easter egg hunts. Every month is a different theme and they read books, do activities, and make art related to that theme. My son has learned so much at this school. Before he started at CLA, he was only able to say a handful of single words. He can now sing songs and string simple sentences together. He knows all his colors, numbers, letters, and can even count in Spanish! When my son moved to the next class, I received all the pictures and art he had made in his previous class. This is by far the BEST PRESCHOOL/daycare in Tucson!!! I love it and both of my daughters love being here and never want to leave. I have 2 children that currently attend Children's Learning Adventure, a four year old and a 1 year old. They are learning so much every day! My 4 year old is ready now for kindergarten more than she ever was, she might even be able to test out of it. Her teacher is amazing and caring. My daughter has learned to write her first and last name, can count to 30, recognize numbers, and knows science words and concepts I would have never guessed she knew! My one year old is already talking at a young age. Her teacher has taught her to say please and thank you, singing songs, recognizing words!! Her teachers are so loving, caring, and nurturing, they're just like family. My one year actually Loves her teachers and runs into classroom and says bye to me. They learn all core subjects in addition to extracurriculars every single day. The curriculum is different for each age group and learning outcomes are clearly evident. As a high school teacher and a mother, Education is very important to me. This place never ceases to amaze me. read more

My wife and I, are very happy with the decision, of enrolling our son into Children's Learning Adventure, Advanced Pre-Kindergarten program. Not only is he excited to go to school, he is always excited to share what he did that day. We always get information about our sons day, followed by his monthly assessment. I can't believe my 4 year old is reading and doing math! Watching my son grow in this wonderful school. Make me know my son is loved. The staff at Children's Learning Adventures truly goes over and beyond to meet all of my family needs! I can call anytime and talk directly to my son's teacher. Our family loves how every Friday they have, fun adventures Friday where they have a theme and get the whole school to do it. Being brand new to Arizona was hard enough, but picking a daycare for my very first child was even harder. When I walked through CLAs doors I felt peaceful, as they gave me a tour of the facility I knew this place would be the best daycare experience for my son and I. He has learned so so much from his teachers and has made some little friends too. The teachers and everyone there make him feel cared about and loved. My son wakes up and is very excited to go to his school and see everyone. He walks in or gets carried and has the biggest smile on his face and full of giggles. Picking my son up is the bestest experience as well. Every moment he is there is the best time of his little life. I can't wait for him to experience more while there and see how his knowledge keeps expanding. I would fully recommend this place 100x over. read more

This is amazing company to work for, I've been with this company for over 4 years. Children's Learning Adventure is amazing inside and out with specialty rooms that you can't find anywhere else in town, we have a Culinary Kitchen where kids can experience cooking, lab Lagoon the children learn to do experiments, we have imagination Island that looks like a mini town with a post office, we have a picture Paradise where children learn public speaking, we have a Nature's Nook where the children learn to plant and learn to take care of the environment, we have a gym with a basketball court, and we have reading reef where children learn about books how to take care of them and read in a group or by themselves Plus our teachers are loving and caring role models they're not here for a paycheck they're here for the children. read more

I don't know why all the reviews for this place are bad ones, my my child loves the school age room!! They one favorite teacher, but to protect said teacher I will just say the blonde one. She always treats my child well and greets me when I walk in the door and knows exactly where my child is. The rest of the school age staff is amazing! There is always something fun going on with art, they do fun experiments, they get to go outside to play games, they learn to cook. This place has the whole package! Children's Learning Adventure is a little pricy, but you really get your money's worth seeing how much care your child is getting and how much fun they have every day! Our adventure started about 2 years ago with a little bit of a rocky start, brand new to Tucson and never having our grand daughter out of our reach I was a bit over protective. From the front desk staff Jen to the teachers that cared and educated my granddaughter to Tammy the director who ALWAYS was there to listen and immediately rectify any concerns I ever had, I was so comfortable and at ease to send my granddaughter to CLA. I have had a great experience with this preschool. Two of my children have gone there and both were very excited to go to school every morning. I loved how much they learned, everyday they would come home telling me something that they learned. I also really enjoyed how they gave homework to prepare them for kinder. They were able to visit the other activity rooms quite a bit and were very excited to do so. The staff was also very kind and structured and had high expectations of my child. I would defiantly would recommend this to parents that are looking for a established reputable school and want their children to learn. read more

We love Children's Learning Adventure on River, and so does our 3 year old son! Great teachers and a fun curriculum for the little ones. The teachers were even a huge part of potty training my son when he was two! My husband and I work a lot and spend more time outside playing than we do focusing on "school" type activities at home, but because he went to daycare and preschool here he is right on track and even above average with his educational development. Also a total plus is that we don't have to worry about packing lunches since all food is provided. We will continue to send our son here and soon our daughter. read more

I am beyond grateful for the care that is provided to my child at this day care! It was so hard to find a place where I felt comfortable leaving my first and only child. The staff is welcoming & caring. They made the transition so much easier and comforted my child as she struggles with being with anyone but me. They address any questions or concerns & ensure the facilities are safe and CLEAN. Tammy is efficient and kind as she welcomes me and my daughter every morning.. Absolutely phenomenal! My 2 kids started here about 6 months ago and went from barely being verbal and outgoing to talking well (for a 2 and 3 year old) and being more open/acting acting like kids. I have seen so much improvement in just 6 months I wish I could truly explain and show the changes I have seen. Not to mention the staff and teachers are so delightful. The front desk gals are amazing, aways greeting my children and I with a smile on their face. Specifically Tammy in the mornings is great, my kids and I love her! I fell in love with this school! I am a first time mom, and as soon as I waled in. I was greeted by all of their happy staff.The Director took me on a beautiful tour, she took the time to ask me about my child AND about me and my needs. I felt that Ms. Amy took her time explaining and answering all of my 145 questions. Just walking in to Children's Learning Adventure was a positive feeling! I am so fortunate my kids attend Children's Learning Adventure. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with nothing but kindness and compassion. I had some reasons for needing to leave childcare I was at previously, and Julia was more then happy to help to accommodate our needs. The teachers have made our transition to a new school super easy and it took only a couple days for my son to run to class (he was very particular before hand but he enjoys all of the teachers we've met so far). My son love this place. He is 5 now and started about 2 years ago. Not only does he love his teachers but they are like family. All the staff know my son by name not a number... they actually care about my child as an individual and his education. He is challenged and encouraged to learn. I can honestly say he is 100% ready to start kindergarten in August. It seem this school can not keep within their ratio numbers. Meaning they have over 26 kid per 1 adult. They are continually moving kids from room to room, making it very stressful on the kids. They cannot seem to even keep a director. They are on their 3 director in 90 days. Do not let the new building fool you. This place is a mess. The office staff is very sweet, but they are not running the class rooms. This place needs a full staff revision. Not a healthy environment for kids. read more

My 8yr old daughter loves CLA!! She always wants to stay longer! The staff is wonderful, they helped me set up homework/play schedule for her so I don't have to battle everyday when we get home. Their ability to pick up/drop off at schools is so much more convenient, and they're pretty flexible(to a degree) with the days my daughter attends, which is great. Especially with my schedule!
