I interviewed lots of child care centers prior to settling with KALE. The director I met a month before was not the same when my kids started. When they got a new teacher for my kid's class, they did not inform the parents. Luckily, I paid additional ($40/month) for the cameras so I questioned my kiddo about the new teacher. Other parents had no idea for at least a month. There were 22 kids crammed into a room with one teacher and a floating teacher sometimes. As for the cameras, they did not charge monthly. They deducted the total from the refundable deposit. With the constant changes, organization is not a priority. I asked the director two weeks prior to Christmas what the plan was and she said she is just thinking about the next day. Yikes! One of my kiddos was not acclimating well to the new environment and she couldn't get any attention from the teacher since the teacher was wrangling almost 20 kids. My kid was usually alone and I didn't see the teacher trying to engage or encourage her to join the rest of the class. I pick up my little one at the same time every day right before nap time. Sometimes, they would have the kids wait by the door for over 30 minutes in the dark. Speaking of doors, they do not have conventional closed doors. All doors are short so you can hear everything going on in other classes. Onto the neutral/plus side, the school had some potential. The meals were on par with other places, the curriculum was admirably challenging, and they tried to set up events on Sundays but they were usually low turnouts. I wish the school all the best but I can't recommend it to my fellow parent friends and their kids.

Daycare review We've…read morehad such a wonderful experience at Xplor! Our son started here at just 12 weeks old, and we couldn't have asked for a more caring environment. Miss Marilynn,the principal, and Alice the VP are so compassionate and genuinely take the time to know every child and family, which really makes you feel like family. The infant room teachers--Dani, Danniette, Farzaneh, Yasmin, and Lexi--are all amazing. I 100% trust they are caring for our baby like one of their own! I am actually sad to be moving to the next room soon, however I am sure the new teachers will be just as great. We toured many schools before finally choosing Xplor, comparing different criteria ranging from safety, cost, staff..so far Xplor has not let us down looking forward to many more years here!

This school just opened a month ago but what an asset it is to our community! My daughter has had…read moresuch a positive transition. She loves her teachers, her classmates, the fun things they do on a daily basis (lots of sensory play, skill assessments through the LEAP curriculum, and daily use of a smart board) and the wonderful managers who she hugs goodbye each night when we leave. The staff are attentive, kind, and share great communication and lots of pictures (like the ones I've attached to this review) with me each day using their parent app. We love coming to The Learning Experience in Savannah. I especially love that it's close enough to home that I can drive my golf cart for pick up and drop off!
