Yeah, Dr. Nakumura is the standard on how a clinic should treat their patients. He and his staff should get nothing but 5.0 stars on every platform. He's always on top of his plans for our two daughters, reasonably responsive during after hours, and gave us preventative treatment for the girls. Amazing stuff. He's also great with the kids. Not a visit went by where they weren't laughing or didn't enjoy it. My son has been a patient of for over 2 years. In those 2 years every time he's been hospitalized Ryan or Dr Nakamura always come see him no matter the time. We are here every 2 weeks for allergy injections now for over a year and the improvement on my son's everyday life has been tremendous! The wait can be a little long sometimes but I know it's only because they are the best and try to accommodate any emergent situations patients may have. my 5 year old had been coughing and vomiting every single day for 32 days straight, some days it was 7 times, some days it was 3. I went to the pediatrician who wrote me off and even the ER who sent me on my way with an entire negative panel for viral infections. I walked into this office thinking my appointment was on the 23rd of January when in reality it wasn't until February (I have had no sleep in a month). I immediately got teary eyed and begged the receptionist for help. she was incredible and so very kind and patient with me. she not only went and grabbed a nurse, but she also got the dr to squeeze us in. Doctor was absolutely phenomenal with my son who was very tired and not feeling well. He had him belly laughing within 60 seconds of walking in the room. What an awesome doctor and staff!!! I was seriously blown away I cried to my husband the entire drive home because I was so grateful someone actually helped us in 32 days! day 2 now zero coughing let alone vomitin. When I initially made the appointment the soonest they had was a month out so I was curious as to how good this doctor was. Due to a minor setback on my end, we were a little to my daughter's appointment and they were still able to accommodate me. They were prompt and got us into a room. We were seen by 2 different nurses and then finally Dr. Nakamura. He came in and started talking and playing with my daughter as if he were a grandpa that she hadn't seen in a little while. She was giggling and over all had a great experience. Doctor went over the necessary info with me and we were in our way! We came in on Halloween and this doctor's office hooked us up with a big goodie bag! Dr Nakamura is totally awesome!! His office is the funnest office I've ever seen! Tons of Golden Knights, Raiders and toy memorabilia to keep children occupied. The front desk older woman that we checked in with was rather grouchy and would have been great if she would have greeted us or even said hello since that was our first time to the office. But the Dr made up for the front desk rudeness. She may need a refresher course on customer service. Other than that, I would totally recommend this office. Dr. Nakamura was referred to us after my daughter's primary doctor realized that her asthma was much too serious for her to handle. She had been hospitalized many times due to it. In the four years we have been seeing Dr. nakamura, the trajectory and quality of her life has changed 100%. When I saw change in just a few weeks, I couldn't believe it. Over the course of the last couple of years, you would never know the severity of her asthma and breathing problems ever existed. It made me cry when I thought of how much of the trouble could have been avoided had her previous (ex) primary doctor realized this was outside of his scope to handle rather then just continue to throw meds at her. Nakamura not only stabilized her, but is now tapering her off of medication because he doesn't want her on meds for life. Decided I needed to write a review because after dealing with my child's other specialists and their lack of care/lack of compassion, I had to give a massive shout out to Children's Lung Specialist. First of all, my child dislikes doctors and the nurses who assess children. Every nurse was super nice and kind to my child. They encouraged her during the breathing test and allowed her redoes when needed. Dr. Nakamura has been fantastic with my child, making her smile and laugh during the appointment so much so she looks forward to seeing him. He took his time to answer my questions and reassessed her medication protocol from her allergist. He has refilled prescriptions and even listened to me when I said we need a 90 day supply for wixela and albuterol. He also referred us to another allergist who could help us better than the one we were seeing. Every time I email the office with a question, THEY CALL ME BACK, let me repeat....EVERY TIME I EMAIL them, they CALL ME. THIS IS HUGE. So many other doctors office ignore you and you have to play this game of keeping up on them to get things done, but this office prints out everything you need to do with directions. It is a LIFE saver for an exhausted mom. As for the front desk office ladies, they are fine. I have not had one issue with them. I am not sure why everyone expects them to smile 24/7, they weren't rude to me but I have always been extra kind to them, as I know they are probably dealing with a lot every day. read more

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Nakamara in the hospital while I was on a clinical rotation as a nursing student and the amount of respect he showed to staff and students made me respect him even more.
