Our family has been visiting Dr. B and his incredible team for nearly six years. The quality of care received by Dr. B, the PACs, and the NPs has always been outstanding. They take the time to listen to our concerns, answer our questions, and provide health advice for our children. Additionally, we never feel pressured to perform elective medical procedures, and they always provide balanced information about the benefits and risks of said procedures. Finally, the practice prioritizes seeing sick kids in person. There is hardly a time where we are rerouted to urgent care or another facility. There was a period of time where we did notice that wait times became exceedingly long - sometimes 45-60 minutes. However, I am proud to announce that this issue has been entirely resolved! The practice seems to have expanded to accommodate their large patient base. Today, our entire appointment only took 30 minutes, including wait time! This improvement has been repeatedly noticeable over the past six months. We are so grateful for Dr. B's care and the recent improvements we have seen from an administrative perspective! Very Disappointed With the Recent Changes ( Dr B is amazing BUT ) I've been extremely disappointed with the changes since this doctor's office changed names/management. Their phone service has become almost impossible to use. Every time I call, regardless of the time of day, I'm met with a message saying they're experiencing a "high volume of calls," and it's very difficult to actually get through to someone. They also used to send appointment reminder messages, which was extremely helpful. That no longer seems to be happening consistently. I recently missed an appointment that I had scheduled about three weeks in advance, and I didn't receive a call from the office until a week AFTER the appointment had already been missed. What makes this even more frustrating is that their availability online is very limited, so getting another appointment can take weeks. When you're dealing with your child's doctor, communication and reliable appointment reminders are extremely important. I really hope the office improves its communication, phone accessibility, and appointment reminder system because the quality of service has noticeably declined since the name/management change. read more

But today was the first time being there since the change to Zarminali for my daughters yearly check up and I'm so beyond upset with the service. to start I walked in and waited at the front desk for 5 minutes with nobody up there at all... Then you finally had 2 girls come up not acknowledging me at all and carrying on with their convo no im sorry for the wait or anything. Once she was able to finally get situated she asked me who the patient was. I told her i was cash pay and that ive been here for 8 years as I guess I wasnt in the system since its new ? but all of us sudden she tells me that the cash pay that I used to pay $85 went up to like $230... im sorry but that should have been notified to me especially since i talked to people before hand rescheduling my appointment since the day we originally were on Ian wasnt there. She literally had no care in the world on top of it. Such a shame how someone bought out this amazing practice and it just goes down hill. It also takes forever to talk to staff now to literally never had to wait long someone used to answer and at least put you on hold ist the acknowledgment for me that I appreciated this one you're just waiting 10min plus all the time. We had our first visit at Wee Care Pediatrics with my 3-year-old, and the front office staff was friendly and welcoming. Our appointment was at noon, and the doctor prescribed medication to be sent to our nearby pharmacy. Unfortunately, that's where things became frustrating. I called the pharmacy three different times, and they never received the prescription. I then called Wee Care multiple times and was told each time that the doctor was very busy with back-to-back patients. I completely understand that medical offices are busy, but timely follow-through on prescriptions is important--especially for young children. If this had been a more urgent situation, the delay could have been serious. First impressions matter, and this experience has made me reconsider continuing care here. read more

I called to reschedule my appointment twice because i was pulled into last minute meetings. This is something i have no control over due to my industry. The office still charged me $75 per kid both times because it was 2 hours before the meeting. I asked if this could be waived or forgiven as I've been a loyal customer for 16 years and they refused. i love wee care Pediatrics or now "zarminali pediatrics" so it's not towards the office to make it clear .... but today it Was horrible I missed my kids appointment today I call to reschedule their appointment together because I usually make their appointments together but represenative MATTHEW was telling me I couldn't schedule sibilings together anymore after a no show appointment I been going to the Durango location for 2 years now and all of a sudden my kids can't be scheduled together I have 3 children it makes it hard for me I was waiting on the phone for 45 mins just to be told no so ofcourse I'm upset because ive never been told that at all but it's just the attitude from Matthew after being told that I cant and " to let him talk " in a rude way I'm not at all the type to write or be rude to people because I don't like that but he was just striking a nerve with his attitude I told him I wanted to speak to someone else that wasn't him Ofcouse not the manager because what is the manager gonna do but tell him what to say lol he said there was only 2 people in office so if I wanted to speak to someone else I'd have to wait longer even after being on the phone for 45 mins he could have made it simple and just made the appointments and tell me it after again this is the first time I've heard this. questioning me if it was technically "no show " it wasn't it was a missed appointment on accident because a moms busy taking care of 3 children not just one or 2 it's 3 (one with autism ) I don't always have a baby sitter so I don't know this really got me feeling like He just didn't want to make the appointment I can't take one by one children to their appointments it makes it hard on me! but Yes I'm really disappointed I won't be calling to make their appointments anymore! Recently looking for a new pediatrician for my kids hoping I could get the best care they needed. Check in process was quick and easy. Waited about 10 mins to get called back. While waiting you could hear the 2 front desk staff talking about an incident that just happened due to someone waiting for their records and no one in front was aware of it. Once getting called back in the MA taking my kids vitals wasn't so pleasant. Remind you it is my children's first visit. Asked for updated shot records I said I brought it in and she had asked is everything up to date from whatever years and as I'm explaining she interrupts me and says I'll just look. So from there I'm just annoyed and my tone of voice changed of how I answered her questions. Got brought back to the room and I thought it was cute how they write welcome and the kids names on the table paper. Moving forward, MA just hands me a urine cup with no instructions or directions where's the restroom so l'm asking the questions. Put everything aside, Ian, PA was super polite and descriptive. Answered my questions. There was also a scribe that came in and she was nice and you could see she smiled and interacted with my daughter while Ian was doing my sons check up. All in all, I was hoping for an office that is more kid friendly. My experience with the MA who did my kids screening just wasn't what I was expecting. I did hear other staff while checking in other kids who were great, so kudos to them. Wishing for a better experience. read more

I had such a bad experience ever since it went from desert pediatrics to wee pediatric on cascade valley in Las Vegas omg so i have 4 kids took one of them bad experience then went with my 13 year old who has hemihypertrophy I asked for what referral we need and she looked so confused like I was dumb or something anyways her name is Breanna she was horrible she was standing and just judging my daughter the entire time I was like her I'm concern she had surgery not to long ago and her urine has a faul smell for a while now and she like well what does she eat? Then I asked for her back clearly she has a tumor growing she don't care then I asked for some test done because she has been gaining weight like crazy 2 years from now and she said it's what she eat clearly she did not care or understood my worries I honestly wanted to her to be completely honest but I kept it together and I already suffer from anxiety she triggered me so much my chest was hurting the entire time driving home I wanted to cry in 13 years she has been the worst of my experience how can I report this person ???? They are good in what they are doing and the employees are nice but the waiting is crazy every single time. They booking us at 9:15 and then 15 min after they placed us in a room then 35 minutes we are still in the room and no one came so I decided to write this review. It has been like this for the past 3 years we have been here and it is very unprofessional and a bit rude cause people has other plans and things to do. It's the morning how can you be so far behind and if you realize you behind then call us and ask us to come 45 minutes later , it's a small room and the kids are getting bored and exhausted. It's an issue with the management and it had been like this for long time and no one fixes it. There's no point to schedule time for patients if you only going to get them an hour after.. Update: it's now been an hour and a forty minutes now after our appointment time and still no one came to even apologize or let us know what going on, they are always late but this time is too much and I had to lower the 4 stars to 2 star. This is such a poor management, no one says anything and leaving us in a 150 sqft room for an hour and a half with a baby that start loosing it and we are already late to work. read more

Very disappointed with my last few visits. Thinking about switching pediatrics. The doctors are great. Ian and James both great with kids and are very knowledgeable. The people in the front not very patient or kind and communications from the phone appointments and the branch locations are clear. The other PAs to be honest didn't tell me anything about what he has. I told him all the symptoms and what he is taking and all he did was ok I will refill his cough medicine and send him to get tested at quest. I mean why have a PA student come and ask me questions and waste my time when your gonna ask me the same thing again after making me wait an additional 30 mins. Being a bit backed up I don't mind at all but I mean you send in a student PA to get some information from me then the PA comes in and asks me the same thing to what just tell me nothing new about his symptoms or anything. Frustrated I just wanted to get out of there so I asked if I can go to quest now and get this lab work done and he was like yes you can go now. Nothing was sent to the location he told me to go to and when I asked quest they said that we have to book the appointment myself. So can't get this test done till tomorrow and I got lucky with that too cuz I went right away and book it online as soon as I got out of the quest that I was sent to. If I will not be seen by IAN or James I will not be going back here very upset...I just wasted like 2 hours of my time to get the PA to refill the meds I did not run out of. read more

I had my eye out for this pediatricians office since before I had my son. My son was born 2-6-21 and we didn't go to this pediatrics office and we went with a difference place that was recommended by our hospital. Let's just say we should have just gone with our gut and gone directly to Wee Care Pediatrics. The other place we took our son was quite the experience ( tacky and creepy). We just had our first visit at Wee Care Pediatrics and it was a great experience. Everyone was super friendly. The office is located in a nice location. The facility is kept clean. The office staff clearly know what they are doing and are professional . We really liked our pediatrician and we couldn't be happier. My husband and I are easy going people, we don't ask for much so when people go above and beyond and go the extra mile because that's their way of service we really appreciate it. We are happy our son, Benicio, will be taken care of here. read more

I have been taking my two kids to Dr. B for a couple years now I just had my infant a few months ago and I'm so happy I chose him to be my kids. After having some hiccups with this office, I am very happy to say that the problems were quickly remedied from my previous review. I also had to bring my daughter in suddenly due to illness a week before Christmas. She was having very concerning symptoms and I was able to get an appointment same day within just a couple hours. Dr. Bakerink was top notch as always. He has the absolute best bedside manner. Tested and confirmed that my daughter had the flu, listened to my concerns and told me what to do to keep her feeling better. He even shook my hand before leaving. I can't say enough about Dr. Bakerink and his staff. I have been coming to Wee Care and seeing Dr. B since the day my kids were born. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Even with the occasional higher than usual wait times (not typical and dependent on the day/time of year) the wait is worth it and I would not take my kids anywhere else. Dr. B truly loves what he does and listens to the parents and most importantly the children. He has always addressed any concerns or questions and is extremely thorough. My kids like visiting with him and have never dreaded a trip to the doctor. Their website is also extremely helpful with several resources and informational guides for parents.
