Pretty good thai in Thousand Oaks. I was pleasantly surprised myself. It came highly recommended so I thought how bad can it be? We arrived and the place was oddly empty for a Saturday night dinner when it should be prime time. The Thai restaurant too offered sushi??? Lastly, the diners did not look to be from Thailand. These were all indicators that things could be a little sus but all in all a great Thai food experience. We did not get the sushi which everyone else was getting so maybe that will be the next thing to try. We tried the pad kee mao and the yellow curry. The flavors were great. The spice level was on point as well. We went with a 4 out of 5 and it was perfectly spicy. The curry was a little muted I'm sure from the coconut milk but the noodles were spicy just how we like them. The only thing I would note is the slower service for not a busy night. I will give them a pass as I did hear that this was a new location since their old location was being demoed. It was definitely not a deterrent for future visits but I will know not to go hungry in the future. read more

Online ordering system accepts orders even on days they are closed. Went all the way to the restaurant at the estimated pick up time only to find out then that the restaurant is closed. Called the restaurant the next day to make sure the order is cancelled and we aren't charged for an order that was never completed. The lady who picked up the phone said she would make sure it is cancelled. Lo and behold, the day after calling, we see a credit card charge notification pop up from this restaurant. How can they charge for an order that they never fulfilled? They engage in dishonest business practices. There are better Thai restaurants in town where I will be eating. read more

My FAVORITE Thai place in the area. I have been going to Exotic Thai Cafe for almost 4 years now. The food speaks for itself. It is so delicious and always has so much flavor. The service is also very fast and the customer service is great! They are always checking to make sure you have enough water and you are okay.
