    Spicy chx pepper

The flavor is so delicious! Very friendly and accommodating. This time we tried the beef chow fun and T5 spicy pepper chx...the spicy is just right but the flavor sooo good.! Price is right for the amount of food you get..

    Text confirmation

Terrible experience. I just placed an order online and got confirmation that it was placed. I also got a text message confirmation and informed to pick it up in 20 minutes. When I arrived, the restaurant was closed. I called the restaurant and they said sorry we're closed. I asked why my order went through successfully if they were closed and she said we don't control the online ordering, that's not our fault and we're closed today. I couldn't believe this and to not even be apologetic and rude, it is just unacceptable. I hope my credit card does not get charged because I'm going to be very upset. I just wasted time and do not have food for dinner. Very upsetting!

Awesome food and great service! We always come here when family and friends get together!

    Restaurant

New place in Thousand Oaks off Moorpark Road. Delicious Singapore noodles and pretty good dim sum. Super excited about this place and will be going back. We had singapore noodles, cha su bao, sticky rice, and shu mai. Forgot to try the sesame balls which is one of my favorites.

The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is so caring and friendly, and the atmosphere is very chill. It seems that there is currently some outside remodeling going on, but the restaurant is still open. My husband ordered the red curry with chicken. We agreed that it was delicious. I ordered the Thai Chow Mein and would have definitely asked for another order if I hadn't eaten a whole order of Fresh Rolls by myself lol (I was starving and they came out first, these were only okay in my opinion)! We ordered Sa-te chicken for my toddler, but she was being a little picky today. One of the servers attempted to bribe her to eat her food by promising her a scoop of ice cream. That motivated her to try again, but ultimately she didn't like the chicken. We thought it was delicious though. She still got her ice cream. We were sad to see that our favorite server wasn't working today, but we were still happy with our visit! We always make it a priority to stop by this restaurant anytime we are traveling somewhere near by.

The service is friendly and our waiter was energetic. Ordering was smooth. They did forget to make my Thai tea but it was fine when I reminded the server. Their food is always really good. They have like the best shrimp ever there. Their garlic almond shrimp, basil tofu, and basil fish are my favorites. The texture and taste are perfect. This time I decided to try the Popeye tofu and it was good, but I still like the basil tofu more. I definitely recommend anyone to come over if they like Thai food or just want to try something new!

Nori Japanese Grill has clearly remained a local favorite and standing the test of time like that deserves a round of applause. I've driven by this spot on Thousand Oaks Boulevard so many times and after running errands one afternoon, I found myself starving and wanting something casual where I could get in and out quickly. The restaurant is super casual, and you order at the counter, but they take care of everything after that. Your food is brought right to your table, and honestly, I love this style of dining. You pay upfront, so once you're finished eating, you can simply head out whenever you're ready. It's perfect for a quick lunch. I was being a basic girl when I came and kept it simple with shrimp tempura and a California roll. The food here is solid, simple, and satisfying. I'm not here to tell you it's "the best sushi I've ever had" but it's just classic Japanese comfort food done well. The shrimp tempura was perfectly crispy and I liked the tempura side sauce for dipping. The california roll was no frills but tasty. For about $25 after tip, I got a drink, a sushi roll, and shrimp tempura, which honestly isn't bad in today's economy. It definitely beats grabbing fast food or eating at the same old boring chain restaurants. If you find yourself in Thousand Oaks looking for a quick, satisfying lunch, stop by and support this longtime local staple. It definitely hit the spot!

Asians in ventura county know hot pot options are slim pickings. AYCE hotpot? Staff friendly, clean restaurant. Who doesn't love AYCE hotpot? My only con is the pots used to cook your items arent very fast. The fire will die and youll need an employee to start it up. Id be cautious of ordering chicken or youll sit there for at least 10 minutes making sure its cooked all the way. If tasty pot can fix this, I think it'll improve the overall experience. I still love the overall experience and will be back multiple times this year. Side note - People used to 626 or OC ayce hot pot may be a little disappointed (no free drinks or hot food bar).

We let the group pass us and entered the restaurant. We were promptly seated at a corner table and given menus. It did take a bit for the server to come back to take our order, but we did realize we came in 1/2 hour before closing, so we eased off a bit. My partner order the hot pot and was very happy with his choice. The server came back with a hot plate and instructed us how to cook the meat. I was a bit apprehensive about having to cook my own food, but the fragrant smell as it cooked changed my mind. The broth was flavorful and the veg and meat were tender as they soaked up the soupy goodness. I also ordered the boa buns and the pillowy texture, mixed with the soft pork and crunchy cucumber and carrots made my belly sing. We slurped up our food and cleared out as quickly as we could. I hate being that person that lingers at closing time. What I do regret is that I did not take more time at their counter as we exited because it was full of snacks and curios that I love.
