My friend and I have seen way too many TikTok's about the Triple Dipper at Chili's, so naturally we had to try it for ourselves. I hadn't been to a Chili's in ages, but also the fact there is only this location in Westchester, that probably was the reason. The mozzarella sticks were just as good as they looked on social media, and the cheese pulls were pulling! We also ordered nachos, because why the heck not?! This place only gets a three because like TGI Fridays and all the other ones it is a spot where some kid is in the back, reheating your food. But my kids like it, the service is pretty good most of the time in this place as long as you lower your standards, you'll have a good time and get full along the way. Pick whatever you like as far as food is concerned, but you gotta try that cookie in a pan dessert they got going on. The food has a pleasant look, in general. But, unless you have the flu and can't taste, it isn't pleasant to eat. Absolutely everything tastes frozen, cooked badly or just plain expired. It would be easier and much tastier to just pick up frozen food at the grocery store and prepare it "fresh". The food is consistently off putting. We've tried eating take out here about 4 times now and we won't waste another penny. The fajitas are undercooked veggies that taste microwaved and watery like they were frozen. The meat is leathery and cardboard flavored. The rice, OMG, it's awful. Little crunchy, foul tasting, dry dry dry old rice. The beans...watery, spoiled tasting, almost like they are old baked beans that they found in the back of the freezer with freezer burn, then they add to much spices that don't go with this meal, awful. The flour tortillas are, again, old and off putting. Chewy but not in a good way. They taste like a mouth full of flour paste. Yuck. The other items, such as appetizers are 100% bagged freezer foods that are usually over fried, tasteless or a sour spoiled taste, depending on what you order. Always disappointing. I feel like there is no safe option on this menu. I have even gotten their "dip" appetizer....its like being served left over food from a party the day earlier. Bottom line..........if you're used to eating food, fresh food, real food, properly prepared food, this is not the place for you. If you want to eat old, badly frozen, off tasting food and risk your money and possibly health... you found your home here. Disappointing that businesses treat their customers so disgustingly. I have traveled all over the eastern and Midwest places of America and no where would they be allowed to serve this vile food today, as the public would have abandoned them long ago. Nashville mozzarella sticks- 2/10 not spicy at all, tasted like a regular mozzarella stick with ranch. Employees came over every 3 minutes but it felt like they were trying to get rid of us, we kept looking around to see if maybe there were no tables open and nope! They just wanted us gone for some reason. A waitress came up to us maybe 7 minutes after receiving our food and told us we could pay on the tablet thing or hand her cash. All of our plates were full. I'm not sure why they were asking us to pay if we didn't even have 1/3rd of our plates eaten. They also asked if we wanted a to-go box when again, none of us had even made a dent in our food. So, my friend and I stopped by for a few margs. We walked in at 11, they closed at 12. No issue there, we were only having 2 drinks. The bartender with the long hair seemed to have issue with it, however. He was talking about us when we ordered a second drink, seemingly because we hadn't ordered food, but whatever. The big issue was the $2.99 secret trivia game charge that magically appeared on our bill- it's a good thing we scrolled down and checked. The waitress said that that had just happened to another family and blamed the sensitive touch screen. It's probably happened to everyone but few check the itemization of their bills. Honestly not sure what's happening to this establishment but it's going down hill. I was there yesterday early afternoon and there was hardly anyone there to start. First came my ginger ale that had no syrup and tasted awful got a new one and it was better. Second, with my roasted corn which I love from here I asked for extra sauce on it.. they bring me a side of Mayo and butter!!! The parking lot is adequate to home enough cars which means prepare for a large wait if you want to eat here thurs-sat; anytime after five. [Otherwise I prefer New Bon accross the parking lot.] Those who sit at or in the bar, are the pathetic type who have nothing else to do on a weekend and think they are cool b/c they are of age to drink. Been there and done it, I'm guilty too. Happy Hour I remember being pretty boss and rather cheap so what the hey. Food is the typical freezer to oven or nuke for your caloric pleasure. You can also buy it from your grocers freezer and enjoy at home for your own fat night experiences. I used to come here at 17 and get the 2 for 1 margaritas and go home not being able to speak. Fun times but that just proves how little alcohol you are actually getting in the drinks. Stick with the brewskies. No contact from store manager or owner. 08/14/2021 Wife and I had a bad experience in your Baldwin Place (80 Rt 6, 10505) Chili's' last night. (8/14/21). We arrived at 530pm and upon walking in saw the greeter, who we thought at first was a customer, as he was slouched against the stand just inside the door with no mask on. He finally stood upright, greeted us and took us to a booth, still with no mask on. He seated us at a booth that was next to another booth with a family of four at it. There was nothing separating us from them except for a less than six-inch, shoulder high section of wood that divided one side of the booths from the other. The mother at the table was coughing intermittently. Most restaurants have put up Plexiglas shields or other shields in between the booths or at the very least, stagger the booths when seating customers. The first thing we noticed was that both menus provided were sticky. Very sticky. My wife didn't look very happy but needed to use the ladies room. When she got back she said the ladies room door handles were both sticky as well. While we were discussing whether to stay or not we noticed that most of the wait staff didn't have any masks on either. I only saw two that did. The waiter serving our section was taking the order from the older couple seated just before us was wearing no mask and literally leaning over the table near them. Once we saw this we got up and left. Very disappointed in Chili's, or perhaps it's just this particular restaurant. Considering that the Chili's website states "We continue to follow CDC guidance and take extra safety precautions to care for our Chili's family - our team members and you..." I find it extremely troubling that I saw zero evidence of this in the location. As a Federal Officer, I wear an N95 mask 8-12 hours a day and take extreme precautions as I deal with hundreds of people daily. It seems your restaurant can't even take basic precautions. We are pretty regular customers here as you can verify by looking up my email which I use for my Chili's account. At least we were prior to the pandemic. We'll be reevaluating that now.
