I have been a few times and really want to like this place; but the service is mixed (friendly but sometimes not interested or just not paying attention) and standards are not that high. For me, I like wine rather than beer when eating and all too often they don't have any wine (at least twice for me). How does a bar run out of wine? Tacos are decent although inconsistent from visit to visit. Place is clean and bright and servers/bartenders are usually pleasant. I happened upon this place during my travels and decided to give them a try for some lunch. I entered and the place was pretty empty due to it being early. However the service was good and the tacos were delicious! The place is nicely decorated and appears to be a place where I can enjoy some beer and tequila! They have a nice bar and a game board in the back. They play some good free style music which happens to be my groove. They offer karaoke on Wednesday nights and I was told they get a nice crowd. I will try them again soon. They lost a star due to the fact that they over salted the guac which would have been good otherwise. Went there with my daughter. 30 min wait and no food. Not even the guacamole and chips which is the fastest thing to bring out. I say fastest because we noticed 3 tables get it. The waitress didn't even check on us to ask if everything was okay or to even assure us the food is coming out. Walked by us several times. Then when we asked for the check and to take out the food she knew it was because of the food. She said "oh was it the food"? I said yes. The very least bring the chips like everyone else got and check on our food. We have to wait again! Not for the food but for the check ! Not going again. A good friend of mine from Mexico says, if you don't know much about the restaurant always order nachos because it's hard to mess those up. Well these were maybe a 3 out of 10. On top of that, the last two visits they were out of multiple menu items -- not just one or two small things, but several items we specifically came in for. I understand that supply issues happen, but when it becomes a pattern, it starts to feel like poor management rather than bad luck. It's frustrating to sit down, look forward to something, and then be told it's unavailable. That shouldn't be the norm. The decline in standards is noticeable. The attention to detail that once set this place apart feels absent. When a restaurant loses both its energy and its consistency, it stops feeling like somewhere you want to spend your time and money. I've returned multiple times hoping it was just an off night, but the pattern has been consistent. It's frustrating because this used to be a spot I recommended without hesitation. Now, I can't. This is a great place for the variety of beers and drinks and the quality of the food. The staff are also amazing. It is however baffling that they have stopped doing trivia, bingo and all the great things Parker put in place. I'm here on a Sunday and it's like a ghost town. Who is making these terrible management decisions? I though that restaurants and bars were supposed to attract existing and new customers. No- one is here tonite. The food here was good--was it worth the wait? That might be a stretch, but it was enjoyable. My main issue was the timing of the entrées. We were a party of two adults and one child, and our meals came out one by one instead of all at once. This left us eating at different stages, which isn't ideal for a family dinner. It was a Wednesday night, and while karaoke was scheduled, it hadn't started yet, so I'm not sure why the delays occurred. Had the pleasure of trying this spot out today and it did not disappoint! First off we loved the decor - very nice art and photo oops throughout the bar and restaurant. The drinks were all so creative and tasty too. Then the food came and it was delish! The nachos are huge and all of the tacos were tasty. The menu has some Asian fusion dishes as well. They also offer kids portions and during the week they have a $9.99 for 2 tacos and a drink lunch special. Wings are 5 half wings for 10.00 we tried the kimchi wings which if they weren't so salty would definitely have a decent flavor. The heat wasn't overpowering but was definitely there. Honestly the food and the decor was really good but needs a few tweaks. For one the service was confusing. You have an option of a waitress or ordering off the app. The waitress was taking forever so we did off the app so then no one ever came to check on us. I had to flag down someone to get us water, sour cream, and then to-go boxes. The food came out at really different times. My nachos came out, 5min later the quesadilla, and then 10min the peppers. The nachos were very good but it was just missing a little something. Needed more cheese or crema or an additional flavor like kimichi or corn. Essentially I just ate short ribs on chip. The peppers were ok and had good flavor but don't need to order that again. I didn't have an opportunity to try drinks but I know the table next to us had a problem with theirs and needed the bartender to fix them up. We enjoyed our first ( and definitely not last) visit to Craft Tacos and Tequila tonight. Mildred M seated us promptly in the brightly decorated dining area and took our drink order. The delicious margaritas arrived quickly along with a description of the specials. The guac & chips, tacos and street corn we ordered all came out quickly and were delicious. Mildred checked on us several times and John also stopped by to see that everything was going well. First of all, what kind of Business owner don't show up on their opening day? Service was extremely slow, we walked in before 5pm walked out nearly 7pm and still didn't get all the food we ordered. It was only two servers running back and forth table to table. They said another server called out but again the owner or the manager didn't bother to find a replacement and left all the responsibilities to these poor young ladies. They did a great job, that being said the 2 stars represent each of them. They also mixed up the order. The tortillas for both were cold to the touch and tasted raw. Neither taco had good flavor despite sounding good on the menu. They were both really dry which was not pleasant. The sweet plantains were good. The shishito peppers were good. Nothing was great. The service wasn't great either. The person who came with me ordered 3 different tacos and they obviously forgot to put one in. They kept saying it would be right out after all the food came out except her other taco but that one came out when we were done eating. Overall, we spent $50 for two people for dinner with no alcoholic drinks and the food didn't seem worth the price to me.
