I ordered lunch to go from the chilis website. The timeframe given was 20 min which worked out since my office was about 17 min away. They confirmed my order by text at 12:17 with a pickup time of 12:37-12:42. I got a the order was ready at 12:25. Normally having food ready ahead of time is great, but I'm this case I was still 10 min away so my food sat at the restaurant and then another 17 min on the way back so it wasn't too hot when I sat down to eat. The food was brought out promptly once I arrived at Chilis and text which parking spot I was in. I highly recommend this macaroni and cheese. It is by far the best takeout macaroni and cheese that I've had. Not pictured was the steamed broccoli that I chowed down on before I remembered to take my picture. The chicken crispers were good but not great. I ordered this same thing for takeout last week while on Norfolk, VA and the coating was much better which leads me to believe it's greasy battered at the location. This was more like a seasoned coating as opposed to actually crispiness I had at another location. The online ordering and check in process is easy. The mac & cheese is great. This is the most average restaurant in America. The food was okay, just okay. I personally got the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas and some mac and cheese (I ordered it loaded but it was definitely not loaded). The flavor of the quesadilla was decent but it was cold when it came out. My friends both got triple dippers: they say that the mozzarella stick were good, burger was mid at best, chicken strips were crunchy but lacked flavor. Service here was absolutely egregious. Waitress was pretty nice but the kitchen was slow as molasses. If you are looking for a very MID meal this is your place to be. It does get the job done though. read more

The mozzarella sticks were over crusted. The boneless chicken was over crusted. I asked for buffalo sauce and there was a dribble over those in the basket. Had to get a cup of sauce. I think I've sworn off Chili's. It's become a late-night chips/salsa and appetizer place only for me. I don't think I'll go back for lunch or dinner. Food, when compared to other similar places, just isn't up to snuff. The quality has gone down in my opinion over the last several years. Had not been here in a long time and not sure why-this place is fantastic!! No wait at all, walked in and was seated. The dry rub ribs are some of the best I've had-yum! They had a nice range of sauces for the ribs but I'm usually not a big fan of them so I did not order with sauce. The side dish was upgraded to mashed potatoes which had cheese, bacon and onion-they were delish as well. The service was great, waiter was very nice, prompt and let us pay him instead of the horrible machine at the table. My husband had the dry rub ribs as well (photo included) but ordered a full order, I did half and that was plenty! Walked in on a non busy Friday night. We (party of 2) were sat down right away. There were maybe 10 people total in the restaurant. We waited for more than 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us being there. Nothing. Nobody stopped by to tell us who would be taking care of us or anything. There was an older couple behind us and they were finishing up paying and leaving. Their waiter was helping them pay via the Ziosk. So it's not like we were in some dark corner. We were right by the greeters area. I thought about ordering from the Ziosk (and I HATE those things) but we just decided to leave and go elsewhere. We ended up going to BJ's brewhouse. There we were seated and drink orders taken within 2 minutes of sitting down. And they had far more patrons... now I see why. I used to like Chili's but after this experience I doubt we will be back. I used to eat here a lot about a decade ago and it was great. Now, not so much. Last two times I've gone, the restaurant was half empty and the host was nowhere to be found. After waiting 15-20 minutes this time, we saw someone who might have been the host walk by multiple times, say nothing, and keep walking. I travel for a living and Chili's is a regular stop. Here is one you should miss! All I ordered was boneless buffalo wings and a quesadilla explosion salad for take out. Normally this is 15 to 20 min when the are busy , this place was empty and it was 45 mi. I asked for blue cheese with the Buffalo wings and got ranch, the salad was wet , and the quesadilla had a strange taste (didn't eat them). Oh and the final.thing was when I got my food I asked for plastic ware he looked at me said yes and didn't put the plastic ware in the bag. Service persons, excepting the manager, failed to speak coherently or audibly. Just a mumble. Seemed to have a bit of attitude, too. Next, while I laud Chili's for providing gluten-free and dairy-free menus and options, this time was a big fail. Took about 10 extra minutes to get the menus from the manager. Then, when ordering off of the dairy-free menu, and emphasizing our needs by additionally requesting no butter on the veggie side, we still got garlic butter-doused veggies. Double-doh! OK so this chain happens to have good food. Whether it be the fajitas or the burger bites I just generally enjoy the food here. The service is however spotty. My husband and I visited today and our waitress was actually crying so much so she had to get the other waitress to help wait on us. I understand we all have to deal with issues even while at work but geeze don't cry in my iced tea. Placed an online order last night. Said food would be ready in 15-20 mins. Drove there (about 10 mins to get there) and the parking lot was not busy at all. Went inside to pay, was told they were finishing my order and would bring it out to me in curbside parking. Waited for 20 minutes, went inside to ask about my order, was told they were bagging it up now and she would bring it outside. Gave me my drinks, I went back to my vehicle, a little aggravated. Waited 10 more minutes and went back inside to explain that it does not take 40+ minutes to make a quesadilla and margarita chicken (the rest of the food should have been premade: black beans, rice, soups, chips/salsa). They gave us the food. Went to parking lot to eat and it's freaking not hot at all! I was so upset but starving! If I could give them a negative star I would. This is ridiculous! If I have to wait 40 minutes on food, I BETTER be served FRESH food. Service was horrible and food was cold. Shame on you Chili's.....shame on you. Easier to just cook at home I guess.
