Dined with a group of friends. A lot of options to choose from. The price range wasn't too bad, almost similar to your regular food chains. Ordered chicken wings, grilled chicken quesadilla, mexican bowl, grilled steak. The food portions were plenty. Everything was good, not as bad as the reviews were. The waiters were friendly, not over you all the time but made sure to get all you need. The Jalapeno dip that came with quesadilla was very delicious. I recommend to try that when you stop by. If I could give 0 stars I would....went their today with a co worker no host at the stand sat at the bar it was filthy like a basketball team just left trash and plates and tortilla chips everywhere, counter top was sticky... I waited 40 minutes AFTER my Togo order was supposed to be ready for pickup for my food to be done. There were tons of people standing around waiting and upset that their food wasn't ready. Workers were arguing and walking out saying they can't deal with this shit and going to smoke. I seen a worker get herself food and walk out with it. I've called and asked several times to get the manager and general managers information to contact them and they refused to give me it just continue to put me on hold and not answer again. Oh Chili's, you are always so hit or miss, but mostly miss. I don't really like to come here, the only reason I did was because my sisters school was having a fundraiser. I ended up doing the 3 for $10 because it was cheaper than just getting my entree alone (margarita grilled chicken). It was just ok - nothing to rave about. I also got a $5 margarita which was pretty good. At the end I was craving something sweet and was deciding between the cookie or the molten chocolate cake; out waitress said the molten chocolate cake was her favorite so we obviously had to go with that. It was just alright, kinda disappointing. Overall all the staff were super nice, just super slow too. We were there for about 2 hours total which I think is a little ridiculous. Everyone is short on workers these days. We get it. But then don't quote times you can't possibly meet. Every single time I pick up from here it's ages over the quotes time. Today there's no one there, the middle of the afternoon. We are already 15 minutes over the quoted time. They tell me we are just waiting on chips. 15 minutes later "sorry it'll just be another 10 minutes." I tend to offer grace and be patient in these circumstances but it's just every time to such extremes. I've waited an hour past time. As far as chain restaurants go, this is one of my favorites. They consistently serve good food and drinks. The prices are pretty good, and I love their three for ten dollars. You also get free chips and salsa for every visit if you are signed up for their rewards programs. I love their bacon ranch chicken quesadilla, but on my most recent visit, I decided to get the chicken mango dish off their guiltless menu, and I was not disappointed. I don't remember the last time I ate at any Chili's, but it was right after Christmas Eve evening Mass and my parents and I were starving for any restaurant still open the night before Christmas. They are one of the few restaurants still following COVID guidelines, which is great for me and my family. We've been to only a handful of locations and other places are as open as Mardi Gras. Here, the staff are still wearing masks, they are still spacing people at a good distance and the food is still great. Went here for dinner recently and the staff and waitress were nice but then things started to get a little uncomfortable. A friend and I probably only took about 15 to eat our food and we sat and had conversation. The waitress came over a few times to ask if we needed anything we said no. Then she offers us carry out boxes we got some, paid and continued to talk. We probably weren't in the restaurant for even an hour at this point. Our waitress came over again like do you need anything? And we quickly started to realize she basically was telling us to leave. She once again walked past looking over as well as another waitress. Then what looked to be the manager came over to ask how the food was and kind of smiled and lingered by the table... very uncomfortable experience as I wanted to just have dinner and catch up with a friend but we felt very rushed out of the restaurant. read more

We had dinner here tonight and it was really good. I got chicken and steak fajitas which were really good. The meat had great flavor and the meat was tender and good. My husband got ribs, brisket, and corn on the cob. The corn on the cob was delicious done perfectly! The rib meat was falling off the bone and had great flavor to it. The brisket was cooked really good too! Our service was really good, our waiter was on top of things and checked on us often to make sure we didn't need anything else. I had a curbside pick up order. I got there just on time. They told me I needed to wait 10 more minutes to cook my steak. There were at least 5 cars came and left while I was waiting. I ended up waiting in the car extra 40 minutes from the expected pick up time. The lady said sorry and quickly went back inside. I was in hurry to take the meals to my family who had to go to work. I have a rule about Chilis. There are two things I consistently like there, chips and salsa and a southwest eggroll appetizer, both are horrid for my arteries but actually consistently tasty. The fajitas are bland but the safest bet dinner wise. Ok I also like the cheap ass margarita I will fess up. Everything else in here is really iffy. Sorry if that offends the Chili's fans of the world. My non foodie husband, of course, adores it here so we have stopped in here on odd occasions. We went once a couple of months ago with some friends of his who also love it. It took them over a month to actually put through the charge on his personal debit card, silly man should have used our joint account or real credit card as he never puts much into his personal account. Yeah ummm bounce city. It is ridiculous. A subpar dinner's bill somehow managed to bounce three other things. Nice. Called them and they insisted that no way this could have happened as they do the stuff daily, so I offered to show them the printout as well as the reciept as I am one who saves them. They told me tales about how people have said the charges go through before they even get home...yeah well my husband's did not and personally that is all I am talking about. They kept both of us on the phone combined for fifteen minutes. They insisted they would investigate and get back to us. Did they? Of course not. Lame. Did we ever get anything in return for their huge mistake that cost us plenty to straighten out? Hell no. The upside? I will not have to come here anymore :). Hey I was nice, I gave them a chance to work it out, obviously at this point they have no intentions of doing so, I felt other people should be warned. Well I agree with Liz W. That the fajitas are the safer bet here! We had the "2 for $20" dinner items. We both had the fajitas! Now I made my hubby switch with me because he honestly couldn't have cared a less if he eats chicken or the pork fajitas! I was going to have the chicken ones until I saw them & they look as if they'd come out if a cookie cutter! They were all molded the same size & they were rubbery! My husband had gotten the pork and it just looked a bit better so I ate his and still only ate one fajita! My friends got the "something something chicken with rice"! Well they've now changed the rice from a great tasting "Spanish"type to a "mushy gushy" type! They did not like the new rice and the waiter actually asked us!! We had the toffee brownie with ice cream for dessert and we shared it! It was pretty good but sooo sickening sweet that I'm not sure I'd ever get that again either! What saved the day was our great waiter "Dave"! Having him wait on us was the hi-light of our visit to Chilli's in Canton Michigan tonight!! Oh and I didn't want to miss adding that we asked to sit on the bright and sunny side of the restaurant. The host told us "No!" The bar area smells of a horrible stench. The service is atrocious. The bar keep is busy so he can't really give customers good service. The food is very bad. A salad always comes soggy or the lettuce is not fresh. The cheeseburgers are obviously, frozen-first because the taste is non existent. The hostess has no clue and the managers are just dumb! People on Yelp always seem to hate on Chili's, I am not one of them. I have been to only a few Chili's locations in my lifetime and have never had a bad experience, in fact, I can say they have all been good. Stopped at thiis location today after an extremely competative golf session (at Sportway in Westland - awesome place BTW) and thought it was awesome. We were immediately seated and were served drinks in a blink of an eye. MENU - Menu was perfect. Great specials, easy to read, options for every type of eater. Anyone who comes here will be pleased. Servers - Our server was training a new waitress. She was on the ball. Great waitress! I know training can be a hassle, but our lady was on the ball.....not a surprise that they had a great server training a newbie. They made sure we were happy, our tables were cleared, and our unlimited chips appetizer and drinks were filled at all times. Entertainment - You don't go to Chili's for Entertainment.....but possibly you can, they had TVs all over with a variety of programming, also a table electronic game people can play (but I didn't because the food was so tasty and the beers were yummy and cold. Food - Deciding upon the cajun shrimp pasta, smothered burrito special, and enchiladas was a hard choice. I took the Cajun Shrimp Pasta. After ordering I was thinking, man, why did I order that, but then when it came, I was like, damn! I'm glad I ordered this. I ate the whole thing, yum. It wasn't as spicy as I would hope for Cajun, but it did fill me up and it did taste good. The free entree bread was a thick slice of crispy buttered Texas Toast, unfortunately, it wasn't garlic bread like you'ld get with most pasta dishes elsewhere, but hey, it's Chili's....still ate the whole thing. Only thing that kinda bummed me out was that this entree didn't come with a salad. That's fine, I can live with that, but yeah, no pre-game salad. It's fine. Overall - I was very happy with my experience, service and staff rocked, food was yummy, place was clean and it was a happy time. At the end of the day, many restaurants make changes. Unlike Applebee's Menu Changes, Chili's actually worked and worked really well. Love what they have done, and I love this location. They have good food and a good staff. She continued to be less than honest- even after the manager said it would be an additional 40 minutes before we got food after we were seated the hostess continued telling new guests there was only a 30 minute wait. Absolutely the most mismanaged restaurant in Canton. Have tried to eat there multiple times and the shortest wait was 30 minutes at 2:00 in the afternoon. They only have 1/2 the restaurant open. Me and my friend went to this location yesterday. It was apparent from the multiple signage in the restaurant that they are short staffed due to the pandemic. I completely understand this and feel their pain as I also have worked in the food service industry although not during this time. Our server was a young man who definitely seemed to be overwhelmed, although the issue arises with how he handled our situation. Immediately upon being sat he was very jumpy and told us right away that he is tired and ready to go. It came off as a little bit stand off-ish and I felt like he was trying to guilt trip us because of his situation. Throughout the entire dinner he kept saying how he was short staffed and tired, and this is understandable like I said, but I think it was untimely unprofessional. My friend and I were looking for some place to eat after going to the park (we were actually on our way somewhere else) when we saw chili and decided to stop. And boy am I glad we did. Not only was the food awesome, Julian and Anthony were both AMAZING!! Anthony was running other and checking on cars, it never felt like we were waiting even though they were slammed. Julian took our order on the phone and he was so much fun to talk to! He made our night! They were both just excellent and when checking out Anthony even food a chili's reward my friend was eligible for and she got money off her bill.
