There's never any staff so usually the only option is take out and even so, they don't give you the correct orders and sides. Since I began living in Canton a little more than five years ago, I've visited this restaurant-- both for dine-in and carry-out-- on multiple occasions. There's only one reason why: I'm so hopelessly nostalgic for the way Chili's USED to be like. More than a decade ago, Chili's used to be my all-time favorite restaurant. I love spicy food more than any other, and the selection back then, as well as how well everything was cooked, was so mouthwatering. Now, it seems like the quality in any Chili's restaurant I visit has drastically declined. I don't know what exactly they do to their chicken here, but whatever it is, it really should stop. I recall when the classic chicken crispers used to be tender, juicy, with just a tiny bit of light crunch to satisfy you, and they tasted awesome. They used to have such a smooth, almost buttery flavor, and dipped in honey mustard, they were to die for. Now they're practically burnt to a crisp and are mostly chewy and they REALLY put me off my appetite. I had to actually pull with my teeth to get a piece off of one the last time I had them, and just... well, I couldn't eat much after that. I've tried the crispy chicken instead, and those suffer the same treatment. Chewy and sometimes hard. The consistency is all wrong, and frankly, gross. Either the Chili's formula has drastically changed, or someone is really mucking things up in the kitchen. Or both. I used to love the Triple Dipper platter so much back in the day that I'd order that as a meal in favor of an actual entree. You can still get it exactly the same as how it was back then (original chicken, southwest egg rolls, buffalo wings), which I was really excited for, but you can also add new things to it to change it up a little. I did that the last time I ordered at this place, trying out their sliders for the first time. Honestly, they were pretty tasty, but the buns were far bigger than the slider burgers themselves, which made it feel like I was eating mostly bread with onions on it. Still good, but not as appetizing as they looked. The boneless buffalo wings were okay, but they had a "pizza restaurant" quality about them-- and even some pizza places make them better. The prime rib smothered burrito was pretty good, though. Unfortunately, it's not worth a return to the establishment. Their burgers are mostly "meh" nowadays. They don't seem to really wow me anymore. I miss that burger they used to have that had applewood bacon and huge jalapeno rings on it. I don't know why they ever got rid of it. Southern Smokehouse comes close to it, but you'd have to request they put jalapenos on it, and they'd charge you extra, I'm certain. My husband gets the crispy chicken here at times, and has also had steak. He says "meh" or "ew" to all dishes. I told him that our most recent trip here would be the last one, and apologized to him. Chili's will never be what it once was to me. It's sad, but I'll move on to greener pastures... and better food. read more

I am a bit stubborn. So, when we decided to go to Chili's for lunch, I was telling myself that even though there were bad reviews on Yelp for this location, it was going to be different for me. It was early lunch. Everything was going to be fine. It wasn't. The hostess spent 3-4 minutes with every table telling them how there was a complete "reimaging" and "rebranding" coming soon. It was super annoying to keep hearing the same rehearsed speech as she sat every single table. Our server was ok. Food came out not as ordered, and she was busy with other tables, so Dave got up and went to the kitchen to ask for the sauce he wanted. The manager on duty did come to the table and apologize, comp my order, and give free appetizer coupons. My big issue with this location is that it is filthy. That's a management issue. The floor, tables, and chairs were all really, really gross. My menu had long hair stuck on every page. Ick. So, yeah, they are going to remodel and get all new tables and chairs. That doesn't mean you stop cleaning the ones in use. Hopefully, they will learn to work out a cleaning schedule or hire a janitorial company to keep up the new decor. read more

Out of the many chain restaurants serving average American fare, Chili's is usually my favorite. Everyone knows from either going there, or from the commercials, what they serve and what they're all about. It's usually pretty tasty, especially their salads. This location was down a few pegs from any other Chili's I've been too. Just a little dirty...slow service...we had 3 people waiting our table over the course of an hour visit. Confusing and unnecessary....and our food was still really slow. I brached out from my usual salad and ordered a pasta dish which was dissappointing. I don't frequent Chili's by any means, but if I do again it likely won't be this location. read more

Absolutely disgusting. March 26th around 6pm, we were eating our food and my wife starts to choke. She pulls out a red rubber band that was in her chicken tacos. I have no idea where all of these negative reviews are coming from, but my wife and I had a fantastic experience at this Chilis restaurant. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us in a booth immediately. We were welcomed by our waiter and asked if we had used their Ziosk system before (which we had done so previously). He brought our drinks and appetizer out in a prompt and reasonable time frame, and our main courses followed right on time. The only problem we had with our entrees is that they were piping hot! We had to give them 30 seconds to a minute to cool off, which is really not a problem when many times food comes out late and less than a hot temperature. As we finished, the internet went down in the restaurant and the manager came over with the "emergency kit" and took care of our bill by hand. Our waiter was very attentive and apologetic. Did I mention that the wait staff that was not busy with customers was not standing by idly? My wife and I took note the staff was actually cleaning the tables and floors in between seatings. What a concept! All in all, great experience. So much so, I spent some time to write them a positive review. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family. 5 stars. read more

Someone said this place is hit or miss. I must always come on the miss nights. Every single time we come here we say we'll never come back. Service is always terrible. Food IS hit or miss but mostly miss. It's so clear that whoever manages this place has no clue what they're doing. The interview process for manager must go something like this. After an afternoon at the auto show we decided we should eat before heading over to Ikea. We arrived at this location around 5pm on a Tuesday. They were not busy at all...so either this location isn't popular, or we beat the evening rush. When we walked in there was no one at the hostess stand. So we waited, and waited, and waited. Finally this less than friendly girl comes out of the back room and asks how many. Now, we finally were getting a table, but an apology for the wait would have been nice. Also, asking if we wanted to sit in the bar would have been nice too...but neither happened. So, she sat us in the bar. My dad, who did not want to sit at the bar, asked to move tables...and the girl acted like this was the worst thing anyone has ever asked her for. But, she moved us to the dining room. Things started to turn around with our waitress. She was a very friendly, upbeat woman who sadly I don't remember her name. She took our drink order and was just overall very prompt with taking care of us. Not only was she friendly and upbeat but she had a personality as well. She never once came across as a "robot" or that she didn't care about life. She answered any questions that we had, and got our order correct. Sounds crazy that I would bring that up, but so many places get orders wrong, especially if there is more than 2 people at the table. She loaded us up with some chips and salsa while we waited for our main meal. The chips never ran out either as she paid attention and asked if we wanted more. When our food came out it was hot, and had good flavor. The two steaks that were ordered were cooked correctly. Even the broccoli was cooked correctly (though could have used a little more butter/seasoning). Our drinks never ran out and everyone truly enjoyed their meal. Before dropping the check off she asked if we wanted anything else, and convinced the fatty in me to get the chocolate lava cake for dessert (I shared, but secretly wanted it all for myself). Despite the rocky start when we walked in, this was a good location and if I was in the Canton area again would definitely return. read more

it's been a while since we've ordered from here it used to be our go to restaurant before Covid. now due to inflation we don't order out more than every couple weeks. we decided to give this place a try with mixed reviews. I ordered the dry rub ribs and they were really bad. like so dry and burnt it was hard to eat even a couple ribs most of them ended up in the trash they didn't even send a side of bbq sauce to help with the dryness so it wasn't really even edible. they also forgot my sides which was kinda a bummer. the other meal was ok and the kids meal was fine I guess next time I just won't order ribs. read more

Group of friends went on a busy night. The waitor was really nice and kept apologizing for the delayed service. Two of us got the black bean veggie fajitas as that seems to be the only veggie option on the menu. I asked for no dairy and other friend asked for dairy. Ofcourse the cooks added bits dairy on mine. It seemed. Wasn't sure. I felt bad for the waiter since he was running around trying to help other tables but, it is my right to get what i ordered. Making a dish vegan isn't that hard. Just don't include any animal parts in it. No meat, no dairy, no eggs, no honey and...voila, no violence, death, or climate destruction on the plate. Everyone else got their food but were just missing some tortillas or dish of dairy products. I didn't touch my dish and asked if mine had dairy since it looked like it did. He said he would ask and finally came by apologizing. Then he took it back and after a while brought back a new fajita dish which was vegan. It wasn't cooked the best (burnt veggie burger smashed on top and undercooked onions) but i didn't complain. They eventually brought back everyone else's side items. And the best part, 3 of us got complimentary dishes and one of my friends got gift cards because of all the inconvenience. I made sure to tip the waitor well. They went out of their way to help. I forgot to order a drink with my food and asked if I could give cash for one (since I already paid online). Anthony brought me out a strawberry lemonade right away! My husband and I ordered a triple dipper appetizer and it took longer than expected to come out, and our entrees immediately came out after. We weren't very happy that the appetizer and our entrees came out at the same time. Our server was Nicholas. It was not his fault. He handled the situation very well and was very apologetic. He was an amazing server, probably one of the best we have had at a restaurant in a long time. The manager on duty was Jeff and he came over right away and took care of the situation accordingly. Jeff the manager continued to check on us throughout our meal and made sure to see us out after we paid the bill. I was very impressed by both our server and the manager. I had a gift card and happened to see their Fresh Mex commercial that struck a craving for Mexican, so I gave them a try. My takeout order consisted of a Southwest Pairing with a Chicken Quesadilla and a Beef Enchilada, which came with rice and beans. It came in a large container, which upon opening I was surprised at the small looking offerings. The rice was a tiny scoop in the corner, the enchilada was a puny roll, and the quesadilla was four tiny quarter circles. There was also no sour cream or anything else to lessen the overall dryness of the meal. Luckily I had also ordered chips and salsa, so the salsa could be used to add something to the extremely dry and overly heavy chicken laden quesadillas. I guess in my head I thought they would be the Santa Fe Chicken Quesadillas that are on the menu, but it was the one from the kid's menu with chicken added. The meat in the enchilada had a nice flavor, but the shell was like rubber and there was pretty much no cheese inside or out. It was edible but disappointing. read more

We went to Chili's last week and had the dinner for two with an appetizer for $20. The guacamole dip was excellent and served with their hot thin tortilla chips and salsa. We had ribs with the sweet and tangy sauce and the chicken fajita which were both very good. The molten chocolate cake desert was excellent and they brewed a fresh pot of coffee. The service might have been just a little slower than we like, but not too bad. We have been to Chili's quite a few times over the years and I don't recall any bad meals or experiences. If i could subtract 5 stars i would...I normally love Chili's we did the $35 Dinner, Drinks and Dessert...waitress brought appetizer after the food and never brought the drinks. She kept disappearing into the back. I needed a box for forever...finally got a box from some other dude. Ended up going back to the 2 for $20 and then got charged for the dessert.
