Went to Chilis today with a small group of about 10 people. We called ahead to make sure they knew we were coming. Arrived around 11:45 am. We order drinks and chatted. Menu looked good. Everyone ordered mostly from the lunch specials. An hour later we finally got our food. I had a chicken sandwich. It was cold. Others had cold soggy fires. Someone ordered a lunch Quesadilla and they gave him the full size. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have been here a few times and the food is okay and the service is not great but this is BAD. It shouldn't take a hour and a half to eat lunch even with a group. The waitress was not around at all. Drinks were not refilled. One member had to leave early and had her food boxed to go because it took to long. No apologizes nothing. The service was terrible and the food wasn't good. Service was subpar. My boyfriend and I didn't get a couple bites into our meals when we both got very sick to our stomachs. I tried his chicken crispers and the chicken was very rubbery. It's been over 24 hours since and my stomach is still queasy. Disappointed with the food and the service. No thanks. read more

Absolutely disgusting. The floors were covered in trash and it just killed our appetites. The manager claimed he just got over a rush, I didn't buy it being it was 9:30pm. Didn't bother to eat, if the place is that bad, how bad was the kitchen? read more

The restaurant where you receive more bang for your buck! The two for $22 is a great value. The ribs are meaty and tender. Great rub WITH a side of bbq sauce. The fajitas are also very delicious. An appetizer is INCLUDED. Like the bottomless chips with salsa and guacamole. The margarita of the month is outstanding. Enjoy! read more

What can I say after going to this chiles at least 4 times. I still get bad an slow service. I always order online they tell me my food will be ready in 15 Min but I give them a extra 10 because I know better. Why so slow when building is near empty? I ordered a bacon chesse burger got no chesse and no bacon had mashed as a side don't know how old they were but they were dry and almost brown like they scraped the bottom of a old pan never saw any thing like it pretty sure I won't be going back read more

We ate at this restaurant last nite and the food was delicious. Prepared to perfection. The staff was very nice! The bartender was also our server and did a fabulous job! I love chilis for their margaritas and food specials. Also I like their service. Even the manager introduced herself and wanted to be sure we were satisfied. The place was packed and tables cleaned quickly. Overall clean nice atmosphere. Definitely coming back! read more

SUCKED!!!! Not much else to say! Service was terribly slow and forgetful. Food was just OK! Chili's has gotten so bad over the years and the continue on a downward spiral. This made me sick. My family and I were eating there for my mother's birthday and we ordered bone- in chicken wings with barbecue sauce on it and instead we got boneless chicken wings with no barbecue sauce. So we asked again for bone - in chicken wings with barbecue sauce and we got the same thing again boneless chicken wings with no barbecue sauce. Then, We asked to get the manger and we talked and we got a different order and it was wrong we got chicken breast with barbecue sauce on the side and it wasn't even what we ordered. The sad thing was the server we had messed up and the tables she served and the Manager was called to those tables. So in my opinion if you want mother's birthday ruined go somewhere else. This place made me feel sick and disgusted and disappointed because we ate there before and now it's a Trainwreck and it was my mother's favorite place to eat at but now it's one of her worst. read more

For being a chain, it was great. I'm not a huge chain restaurant person. However, our server served me and 7 other colleagues and did a phenomenal job. Went over lunch, food was good and refills were taken care of and all went well. The prices weren't bad either. read more

We have gone twice this week. The first trip was ok, however the waitress was upset and snarky when I asked for two sides of sour cream. They wanted to charge $2.49. I said forget it. We decided to give it another try, everyone has bad days. However today, we ordered $50 of food including one to go and we waited an hour for the food. We also ordered a side of ranch for my daughter which they forgot and when we asked for it, they took forever bringing it and we were already ready to go. However they still charged $4 for it. After talking to the manager who was also rude. She took the charge off. I asked her why the service seemed so different lately, even said I wasn't trying to be rude. We usually come here all the time. Wasn't sure if they had a change over or something. She was just as snotty as the waitress before us. I have worked in the service industry so I am very understanding, however, I do know good customer service. This was awful and I suggest not visiting this restaurant if you want quick, warm food with a friendly atmosphere. read more

Sisters monthly day out -- lunch and shopping we have to decide where to go and we toss around 5-6 named restaurants, but never fails -- Chili's always comes up the winner. The variety is great, food is excellent. The service is warm and welcoming in both Cedar Rapids and Coralville IA. My favorite is the Peppered gravy nice and spicy. But then my other favorites are the sample platter, artichoke dip. The white chocolate lava cake is so decadent we usually have to share one between us because of health choices and we are usually too full to order separates. But then again . . . sisters always share! read more
