I don't know about you but I LOVE CHILI'S!! Our server Autumn is the best- very attentive and just full of positivity! We ordered the Fajita plate with Beef, Chicken and Shrimp and it was really good! My son ordered Cajun Shrimp Pasta - a little salty but still good. For dessert-we had the Chocolate Molten Lava with two scoops of Vanilla ice cream drizzled with molten chocolate!! OMG!! To die for! So so good!! It's been soooo long since I've been to Chili's. It's a Friday night and it was busy but luckily we were able to get a table in the bar area. I chose the famous Triple Dipper which had the mozzarella sticks (nice crisp with cheesy pull), honey chipotle chicken (the portion was bigger than I thought), and the big mouth bites. I couldn't eat this myself, it was great as a shareable item. I paired it with The Witches Brew marg, which was $6. Sadly, they didn't have the glow stick. The marg was too sweet for me but gave me a nice buzz. Of course I had to go all in and get the Molten Chocolate cake. This always hits! It's warm and gooey, the perfect ending to a long week. It was my first time at Chili's and our server Kayden was great! He was friendly and made us feel at ease the whole time. He was always checking up on us and refilling our beverages. We started out with the chips and salsa and the chips were thin and crispy! The food was on the saltier side. Chili's was weirdly busy for a Tuesday night. I was surprised. Anyway, the energy was good so I rolled with it. I ordered the ribeye with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese since they were out of steamed broccoli. The nerve. But the steak came through. Juicy, flavorful, and didn't need a single drop of steak sauce. I added buttered mushrooms on top and oh my gosh, that alone was worth the trip. Delicious. The mac and cheese was cheesy and salty. And listen, I love salty, so I was thriving. But if you don't like salt, maybe approach with caution because whew! Got chips and salsa for our appetizer with a side of guac too. The guac was tasty, a tiny bit heavy on the cilantro so I had one moment of "why does this taste like soap," but overall it still slapped. My drink of choice was the Witch's Brew margarita. Yummy, strong, and honestly kinda magical. I was definitely buzzed. It was $6 and came with a plastic broom stick. No glow stick And of course, I had to end with the Molten Lava Cake. The ice cream scoop was smaller than usual but the cake and hot fudge did all the heavy lifting. Still so good. Still my go-to. Still worth every calorie. I was so stuffed but definitely satisfied. First time dining at Chili's the Birch Rd location at Otay Ranch Town Center in East Chula Vista, CA. There was a 30 minute wait time not too bad after the car show ended. This location has a lot of parking and is near many shops and restaurants. We ordered the following: *Margarita chicken with black beans and steamed broccoli. It definitely tasted 10 times better after I added lime to the chicken. I rate this plate 4/5 stars. *Smashed burger with French Fries. My husband enjoyed this burger said it's a high end version of a Big Mac...haha! He rated this burger 4/5 stars. The restaurant has TV's in every corner so you don't miss your favorite sports games. Chili's was busy and our server kept forgetting my husband's beer, but that's understandable at least she was nice. I'm glad she placed our toddlers Mac n cheese order right away. My good long time friends invited me to a Happy Hour to celebrate my birthday, and we chose this Chili's. We were greeted upon arriving and seated immediately in the var area. The hostess was smiling and very customer service oriented. We were given menus, and iced water came immediately. Shortly after that, the signature Chili's Chips and Salsa came to the table...DELICIOUS! Their thin and perfectly crispy tortilla chips and salsa is ADDICTIVE. For their bar area Happy Hour, there is a monthly featured margarita. This happened to amazingly be my favorite this month: WATERMELON MARGARITA!! We each ordered a watermelon margarita, YUMMY! 3 of us ordered the Fajita Trio Platter to share. It comes with your choice of 3 proteins. We chose shrimp and steak x 2. You can choose corn or flour tortillas, or both; which is what we chose. The platter came out in the signature Chili's sizzling style. There is also beans, sour cream, fresh salsa fresca, grilled bell peppers, and grilled onions. Everything was delicious! I will come back and I hope that the service and food is 5-star when I do. I wouldn't even give this a one star review. We have been longtime customers here and have lived in this community for over 25 years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. We chose this restaurant to celebrate our 7-year-old daughter receiving a big award while her grandparents were visiting from the East Coast, and what should have been a special family memory turned into one of the worst dining experiences we've had. From the start, service was careless and disorganized. Appetizers for our party of six -- including two seniors nearly 80 years old and a young child -- took an unusually long time. When they finally arrived, we weren't given any side plates at all for the table. Drinks were spilled at our table, and although we were told someone would come clean it up, no one ever did. We were served salsa in a dirty bowl that had salsa dripping down the sides and no one cleaned or replaced it. When we politely mentioned that we had never experienced service this poor here before, we were met with attitude instead of concern. The most disappointing part involved the celebration itself. We told our server multiple times that our daughter loves the molten cake and that we were trying to make the evening special because of her award. The dessert took nearly 30 minutes to arrive, and the surprise aspect of it was completely ruined. What made this experience unacceptable, though, was how management handled our feedback. When we calmly shared our concerns, manager Martha responded unprofessionally instead of trying to listen or resolve the situation. We specifically said we were not asking for anything free or looking for compensation -- we simply wanted to provide feedback because we care about this location. Instead, we were met with foul language, including profanity, and were asked to leave. Martha unnecessarily escalated the situation to the point that security was called, and even the security staff member (who was kind, fair, and professional) shared their information with me because they felt there was no need for us to be asked to leave and witnessed how inappropriate the interaction had become. That alone should have been a sign that this situation was handled poorly from management's side. Mistakes happen in restaurants. Slow service, spills, delays -- those things can be corrected. What cannot be undone is how management handled the situation and how a special celebration for a child was overshadowed by disrespect and hostility. Good managers support their staff while still listening to customers and maintaining professionalism. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. read more

The chips and salsa is a good starter for sharing. The chips are thin and fresh, yum! The burgers are flavorful and a huge portion. Updating my review because it's so much better since we last visited. We've been here a couple times. The food and service has improved! Even when it gets busy, we've never had to wait for a table. We never come here on the weekends though. Servers are always friendly. Food comes out piping hot and fresh. The watermelon lemonade I had tonight was delightful. I'd order that again. This is a review solely based on service. Our group was 40+ people, with more than half kids under the age of 12. Someone from our group called ahead for the reservation and we were sat within 10-15 min of the first people arriving. We had a whole section of the restaurant and only one person taking orders. Our server was Aiden and he did an AMAZING job. So patient with all of us, answered questions, and did everything with a smile on. Ordering took a little bit of time but once we ordered, food didn't take as long as I thought it would. I'm going to say the whole staff was pretty accommodating. I was initially concerned about how a large party would be managed & the staff did everything they needed to do to make it as streamlined as possible. Although it was very busy, it was very obvious he cared about our time there and wanted to make sure we were always doing good. I'm quite sure that John Goblikon is a larger Chili's fan than than I am. By larger I don't mean stature of course. I do wish that I had all of the merch that he owned. Though that would take up too much space in my home. I'm also one hell of a Chili's fan. I'm sorry that it's not still all about baby back ribs and barbecue sauce. However they've done some work lately, comparable and competitive prices. I think Chili's gonna survive this wave of hate for dining out and overall inflation, Chili's is gonna win the war against big corporate shrinkflation. I got that Triple Dipper with Southwest Eggrolls (epic), Nashville Hot Mozzarella Stick (bomb) , and Nashville Chicken Crispers (nuclear bomb). Highly recommend Chili's still. It's way more affordable than anywhere else. Only downside is they don't put out salt and pepper without requesting anymore, but that seems like an everywhere deal. Decided to order in and was craving burgers, so we went with Chili's Eastlake for takeout. My son picked up the order, and it was ready right on time, which is always appreciated. The packaging was solid, but I would suggest they include a toothpick or skewer to help keep the burgers together during transport. We ordered three dishes and spent around $50, which felt reasonable. The burger wasn't the best I've had, but to be fair, it had about a 10-minute travel time. I imagine it would've been better fresh and eaten at the restaurant. Overall, solid experience with timely service and decent food. We went to this location on four of the july. Our server Nichole was the sweetest and fastest server ive ever seen! She was so attentive and made sure everything was right with our food. It felt like we were eating at a five star high end restaurant with how she was treating us! Our food was so good! Best time ive ever had at chilis and Nichole took such great care of us! We have been to this location several times during the past few months. The service and food at this Chili's location has significantly improved since last year. We stayed away from this location for a few months because of bad service, such as sitting at our table for 45 minutes without being acknowledged, waiting nearly an hour for our food and overall just a bad experience. There were at least two occasions where we lost patience waiting for our order to be taken and we just walked out. One time the waitress forgot to bring us ranch dressing and the Manager and waitress lied to us saying they had no more, yet we saw her bringing some to other tables. Just be honest and say you forgot and bring it. Today we were there for dinner at around 6:30pm. Things have definitely changed for the better. Daniel provided us excellent service and was very attentive, checking in on us frequently and on top of our refills. He has an outgoing and welcoming personality. It was ok but didn't like the fact that they premix it and keep it in a large container. i asked if they still offer the free chips, he said no so I ordered some with Guac. Seconds later I see they still do offer free chips if your a Chilis member- Ughh. I wasn't really hungry so I wasted my money. So I start drinking my marg and notice there is like a mountain of salt in the glass. The bartender was nice enough to notice and made me a new glass. Heck he added the same amount of salt to this glass and again it was a sodium factory. I thought he was going to give me an unsalted rim this time. I let it be and drank up. The Guac and chips came and wow I was impressed with the Guac, it was really good. The chips are always good here but today they loaded them up with salt. What is up with this location and their salt? -hahahahaha So I asked if the bartender can he handmake my next drink. I asked for a Patron margarita. Holy crap, it was horrible! I mean i saw him get the patron out and stuff but the mix was horrendous! i was better off with the premixed Presidente marg- lol Again it was very slow here, I never seen it like this ever. I came in on a Wednesday at 5 pm and it was really nice cause it was lonely . I enjoyed how fast the service was and how kind our waitress was. The wait time for the food was decent but the food was AMAZING. I personally love the fajita trio specifically the vegetables and chicken. I'm Mexican and I really enjoyed everything including the tortillas that in most places taste really bad. I also liked the sides I got ,, if you try this try making a mini burrito with the meat,beans, tomato, cheese, and salsa trust me it's SO GOOOODDDDDDDD :D The ambience was clean and I enjoyed where we sat. Decided to have my birthday at this Chili's location since I frequent this place many times and never had any issues. Everything was fine, service was great, Brianna our server handled everything just fine considering we were a large party. However, come this morning, almost half the party are reporting symptoms of food poisoning. It is shocking to hear since I never had this problem considering I go frequently, but things can happen at anytime. While service was great at the time of the event, the follow up wasn't taken seriously. I asked to speak with the manager on duty, she advised me that everything is prepared daily and they "never had this problem" and at the end just said "I'll keep an eye out if anyone else is sick". It didn't sound like any accountability was taken seriously and it was just disappointing. I am hoping this gets taken seriously since half my party got sick and reported it to the county. I was in town on a field trip, I am a school bus driver. I ordered my usual pick 3 with honey chipotle crispers, side salad and chicken tortilla soup. The food was exceptionally good at this location. I was very pleased. What pleased me more was the young man helping me at the Togo window. His name was AJ. He is what I wish all kids would be these days. Not only was he polite and well mannered, he also worked with a sense of urgency. He especially stood out when he kindly said to me "thank you for what you do." For young man to acknowledge that is very cool. Been here many times and I've had nothing but good food, friendly service, cold beer, and good times. I've mostly sat in the bar area, but I have eaten with bigger groups at tables inside, and during covid times, the outside area they made. There is plenty of free parking here, and an outdoor mall to walk off your food (if you ate a little too much). The dining area is large with tables and booths, the bar has booths, high tables, & bar side stools. The prices are reasonable, there is a good happy hour here, they have a variety of food, kid options, desserts, many appetizers, and a full bar. I haven't eaten something I didn't like here, And I've tried almost everything. From the steak, chicken, burgers, pasta, wings, molten lava cake, and their chips and salsa are addicting.
