It's been a while since I've been here. I was craving a different type of burger so I ordered the blooming burger with Aussie fries. We ordered them as well done burgers and for take out. They were $18 each and I threw in a tip as I was have a great day I ordered online and got there rather quickly. I pulled into the pickup section and an employee came out right away. She said your order will be out in about 5 mins. Really good customer service right off the bat! Exactly 5 mins later she comes out and boy was this bag heavy. These were huge burgers! We get home and to our surprise they included their warm bread. This is very tasty. The burgers had large strips of blooming onions on them and the burgers were amazing. The flavor and texture was on point. The fries were good as well and perfectly seasoned! Overall I was very satisfied with this meal and was basically the cost of fast food burger meals nowadays. The only downside is the burgers were not well down and had pink inside. Not the end of the world but this would have been a 5 star review if they were well done. I am not a fan of Outback. They have a minimal selection of salads but I was going with a group. I went online and the strawberry salad (new) looked better than the others. Got there and it was no longer offered!! I hate that!! Well my friend told me that the seared aji was great. Our server said that he really liked it. I ordered it and a side salad. Great choice!! I wish I can give this location a 0 not for their food, but their lack of customer service. This is the second time I ordered online for curbside pick up. I arrived and waited at least 15 minutes and staff came out gave food to other customer and didn't even acknowledge me or ask my name so after the 15 minutes of the estimated food being done, I walked in. My food, was sitting on the counter. I ordered two dishes and and once again I had to ask for additional items even utensils I mean it's common sense to add those things to the bag and the gentleman that was helping me lack customer service. We recommend the following: *TOOWOOMBA Salmón: It's grilled salmon topped with seasoned and sautéed shrimp with mushrooms in a creamy creole sauce. The salmon skin was nice and crispy. This dish comes with two sides. I selected mashed potatoes and broccoli. I drizzled lemon on the salmon. We came in to celebrate my Papa Dave's birthday . I had heard bad reviews about service and everything. Emily our server was on point. She right away got our drink order. Came back and we placed our order everything was delivered correctly in timely manner well organized. As we were in a celebration mode. I didn't take any pictures of the food . Steak on a budget. Well kind of it's still a bit pricey & portions not to big but more affordable then some other steakhouses. They're kind of the Great Value of Steak Houses. It's good to bring the kiddies & fam & maybe mom & dad if they ain't fancy. Good for first dates if you in your teens but not an adult first date or 3rd date just saying. Steak is ok, most of the food is ok. Blooming Onion is a must tho. Customer service at this location is always good & attentive & food is fresh. Vibe is chill inside with sport TV's & a nice bar. Like I said it's a good affordable steak house to bring the kids/fam too to enjoy a chill casual steak dinner. We had a great experience at Outback Steakhouse for my dad's birthday. Paul the manager took great care of our request to dine with 12 guests. Our server, Nola, was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and quick. She made sure we had everything we needed. Her service really made the visit enjoyable. The food was also excellent. Everything came out flavorful and prepared just the way we expected. The horseradish crush was definitely yum with a bone in ribeye. First and foremost the customer service was amazing. The hostess was amazing and super friendly and got us seated right away. Isaac handled our party of 10 like a pro and that's an awesome feat cuz my parents can be a little....needy. But he graciously took care of us and he helped me pick out my drink because I was stuck on what I wanted. Suffice it to say my drink was the star of the table because everyone wanted a sip. All the orders were on point and they all came out in a timely manner to where we were able to enjoy our appetizers, first courses and main entrees one right after the other with very little wait time. Now on to the food... Because we had a big family I'm not going to go into the details but everyone enjoyed what they ate and there was no complaints on taste. The only complaint to be made was the prime rib my husband got had a significant amount of fat to where it was practically the whole end of the steak which was about 1/3 of his entree. Our waitress was friendly and despite being busy, was attentive. We ordered: Seared pepper ahi tuna - tasted good, but there was too much pepper. It nearly overpowered the tuna. Caesar salad - dressing was flavorful Queensland chicken & shrimp pasta - shrimp & chicken were cooked well but, the dish was bland. Sirloin & grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes - surprisingly a decent cut of steak and perfectly cooked to desired temp. Shrimp was cooked well and the mashed potatoes were moist. Chicken tenders with fries - chicken was crispy and juicy. Fries were seasoned. Margarita - strong, but well balanced. We paid $191.63 with tip. We had just left Black Angus, due to poor service, attitude and loud music, so we weren't in a very good mood. That was quickly turned around at Outback. The staff is not only friendly to incoming guests, but friendly with each other. We were assigned our table and we were approached in short order by Javier, who took our drink order, with the intention of bringing back our hot bread/butter, while perusing the menu. We both ordered the prime rib (our own style) with the sides we both wanted. (I'm a little picky, but no problem.) The food was perfect and delicious. Went to this location in plaza Bonita on a Sunday expected to be really busy. But pleasantly surprised our wait wasn't long at all. I had my disabled elderly parents, two daughters & nephew. I called ahead to check the wait & was told 15min wait. We arrived in 5 min & were seated in 5. Our waitress was very kind & attentive & assisted us with special dietary needs to avoid certain things due to allergies. There were a few other large groups & they accommodate fir parties if you arrange in advance. The food was made well to order & fresh quality ingredients nothing was over or under cooked. My nephew hadn't ever been & promised he'd return with his friends & girlfriend for sure. I'd recommend this location as there's plenty of parking & since they're not located inside the mall only in the north west parking lot near a jeweler, I think it was Kay's or Zales. I was so sad the survey timed out when we were filling it out because we wanted to let him and his manager know he was great! Our orders were accurate and tasted excellent! My steak is always cooked perfectly at every Outback Steakhouse, which is something a lot of steakhouses don't get right (funnily enough). The hostesses and servers were all helpful and friendly. Delicious steaks for a great price!! Outback is no Ruth Chris steakhouse, but I'll say their filets/sirloins/rib eyes are pretty good and reasonably priced. I've ordered filets at other restaurants, and by far, outback has some of the best steaks, without having to go to a high end steakhouse. Compared to Chilis, Applebees, Cheesecake Factory, and other sit down restaurants, Outback is my top choice. They have seafood, chicken, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, soups, and salads. They have a variety of good appetizers, the bloomin onion being what they are known for and a favorite of mine. The cuts are good, the meat is tender and the steaks are nicely seasoned. The portions are nice and the meals are filling. There is complimentary bread and butter and a decent kids menu. Everything I've eaten here has been good and I've never had something I didn't like. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is a full bar inside with multiple televisions, plenty of free parking and a low key vibe. Service has always been good and staff is friendly. I love the fact that you can call and be put on a waitlist for 15-20 min. Also, our waitresses & servers were great and friendly - HOWEVER, the Outback prime rib was supposed to be medium rare, but was overcooked and dry. Then got returned for a second one and it was just SLIGHTLY better. The steamed broccoli also was very brown in most parts of the broccoli and was soggy. Got a second batch, which was almost the same. This was addressed to the manager that they should either trim the brown parts off before steaming or NOT even serve broccoli at all. We really liked Outback in the past and haven't been here for a long time so this was not a good experience "food-wise" coming back. :( read more

we go to this restaurant all the time. was very disappointed to see those disgusting table top credit card readers on every table. I feel that they distance the servers from the diners. we only see the server when they take our order. then the food is served by a food runner. the server comes back to ask if we want a box, then moves on to other customers after telling us we can use the table top device to pay for our meal. hate it. please take away the electronic credit card reader. read more

Went in today for lunch, when I walked in wasn't greeted for several minutes then when when I was I was told it would be a five minute wait, which wouldn't be a problem if there wasn't literally empty tables everywhere. So I get seated and think maybe I'm just hangry don't worry about it, I was not correct. They bring out the bread and silverware and the napkin the silverware is wrapped in stinks of nasty old grease. I know what most likely happened to those napkins, someone washed the kitchens work rags with the guest napkins and now they all stink. The only answer is to buy new ones and make sure they aren't washed with the kitchen rags. Now I order my food and ask if they had the 3 for $14.99 menu and it turns out they keep them behind the bar and don't give them to anyone unless you specifically ask for it. I overheard the next table ask for a specials menu and the bartender/server didn't even offer the nationally advertised menu they kept behind the bar and showed him the regular menu lunch specials. This is pure dishonesty, I almost never post reviews but seeing someone lie by omission makes me have to share the negatives of this location. The service wasn't good which I can normally over look with an understaffed group, but this place seems like it is just being mismanaged. read more

The margaritas were off in flavor definitely not balanced. My grilled shrimp Barbie had 15 shrimp which is generous but it's was so overseasoned and salty I couldn't finish it. Same issue with the salmon. As for the steak it was also charred and more medium well than medium. The pasta was also overdone. The only thing on point were the sides. Mashed potatoes were good but not good enough to make up for the sub par entree. The cherry in top was the server not singing happy birthday when delivering the complimentary sundae for my sister. Outback Steakhouse is no longer what it used to be a few years back. read more

I brought my sister and niece to this outback thinking we were going to have some good food and a great experience and I am sad to say we had neither. Initial the waiter was prompt and kind which was great, but it went down hill from there. I order the deal where you get an appetizer, and entree and a dessert that should have been around 14.99. My niece ordered the outback burger and my sister got the garlic Parmesan chicken and potato soup. The soup and salad that I ordered with my meal came out first. It was decent enough, but I didn't finished the salad because it just didn't taste good. The waiter also brought a blooming onion to our table, which we didn't order, that should have been an indication of how the rest of the meal was going to go. I told him that wasn't ours and he brought it to the table next to us. Then the chicken came out and was probably the best thing that came out for the whole meal. I got my burger which was supposed to be medium, it wasn't, and another burger came out that was not what my niece ordered. They brought her the same thing I ordered. So we moved on from that, she didn't not like it, didn't even eat a quarter of it. So we just moved on from that. Then it was time for the bill. I don't know what the waiter was pulling our order from, but what was on the receipt was not what it should have been. Our meal should have came out to about $45 maybe $55 at the most and the receipt we got was almost 80 dollars. I told the waiter it was wrong and he didn't seem to understand. He went to the back and came back with another recipe, but it was still about $30, I'll even say $25 dollars too much. I explained to him again what it should be and he came back again and this time it was better, but the items on it were still not correct so I just took a loss on that because I was ready to go. This was extremely disappointing because I told my sister and niece how good my experience at a different outback location had been. I don't know what the problem the waiter was having, but someone should check on that. The restaurant was nice and cleans and there were good vibes in there just not the food and overall experience.
