After seeing the new Big crispy chicken sandwich all over social media popped into my local Chili's for a pick up order. Live over 20 minutes away. Check my food before I left, and this is what I had the standard pathetic sandwich. Went back the young man behind the counter said Yep that's the big chicken sandwich. That's a bunch of BS. Didn't offer to correct it just said that's it. If you wanted something bigger, you could've gotten the deluxe with more stuff on it. Huge disappointment. I bet I don't get a response from my review that I sent to the corporate office. Or even from the local branch that I posted a review on. And now I'm posting it here. Hi everyone! Hummmm.... Not sure why this Chili's in Cleburne gets only 2.5 stars. I have been here three or four times since I moved to Godley and my experiences have been mostly positive. The restaurant is clean and well presented. The employees are friendly and have provided me with very good service. The food is your basic Chili's fare. Tasty and delivered quickly. How can anyone not appreciate the Three for Me food special? An appetizer, a non alcoholic drink and a very good burger for only $10.99! Beats the heck out of Mac Donald's in price and quality! Chips and salsa were great as usual. Cajun chicken pasta was well seasoned and it the portion size was a great value for the price and I had had enough to take home lunch the next day. The molten chocolate cake did not disappoint, it's one of my favorite menu items! Service was slow, but they may have been understaffed. read more

Stayed for an hour for a party of 20 only to be told by the manager it was her hosts fault and that they couldn't accommodate us. Which is crazy because we had a bigger party last year and didn't have a problem. No reason to check into waitlist they don't check it. Per the host, their policy is that they "have to seat immediately if there is an open table." Meaning you have a party and time goes up and up. Would rather drive 30 minutes to Burleson location where we had excellent service. Or another local restaurant that sat us in less than 5 minutes. read more

I ordered the Santa Fe Salad with chicken using the order to go menu. The service was fast, and the pick in the designated parking stall was smooth. The quality of the lettuce and salad overall was disappointing. On a positive note, the cup of chili was hot and very good. read more

For this small town that is made mostly of local restaurants, this is the one of 3 places in town that is a chain restaurant. For a Chili's it's about on par with all of the others I've been too. It's cleanish, loud, has a greasy feel to it from the constant grill going, staff is ok, and the food is on par with other locations. When I go it's for the burgers and beer, usually by myself. It's one of the few places I can sit alone and not be bothered and just sit with my beer and burgers. However, the staff at this bar is always short staffed, so it seems. Always busy and not the most attentive, takes some time to refill waters and beer in the bar area. It's not just one bar employee, I've dealt with several and it's always the same with the wait. The beer selection on tap is limited, there isn't a lot of choice, it always comes out cold tho. The burgers, they are getting smaller yet the prices keep going up. The French fries that come with the burgers are getting smaller in their offerings, they don't fill the plates up anymore like they used to. The bar area is ok. There is first come first serve tables or just sit at the bar itself. Both areas look like they could use some updating. It's all looking a bit ragged. For some simple fare and cold beer, it's a decent place for this small town. read more

Our party of two used the Yelp app to place our names on the waiting list. We checked in upon arrival and she said she was cleaning a table for us. A party of three walked in after us (with a baby) and they were quoted a 15-20 minute wait. Next thing I knew they were being seated. Another couple walked in (with a baby) and they took them right back. The hostess returned and said she was cleaning our table. People that come in after us (that didn't do call ahead seating because they both asked how long the wait was), should not be seated ahead of us. That could just be inexperienced host staff? We ordered chips and queso which isn't the best (it's cheese mixed with wolf bran chili). Chips are thin and crispy though and the salsa is fresh. Cesar salad was loaded with dressing so you may want to ask for it on the side. Secret sauce burger was delicious. I recommend it. read more

Father's Day dinner with the family. Seated right away, very friendly wait staff, good food and no major complaints to speak of (other than the drunk guy at the bar who was screaming about the game). Can I just say that their loaded queso blanco is soooo good?! It is thick and creamy and oozing with cheesy goodness. The taco meat in it was really good - loved the seasoning! What really caught my attention this visit was the new Mexican street corn. Dios Mio! The corn itself is plump and juicy, but it was the seasoning that just killed it. Spicy and savory and smack your lips good!! Definitely recommend and will be having that again. Kudos to the wait staff who kept the drink and tortilla chip refills flowing. Had lunch here today and ordered the quesadilla explosion salad and not good at all just looked like a thrown together mess . WTH happened??? Yesterday 4-14-24 I came to this location in cleburne. Food was good. I was celebrating my birthday...everything turned downhill quickly as to I was choking on a piece of steak and fighting for my life. I got the pizza, fries, and sprite and let me just say that was amazing! Pizza was delicious fries were to die for, and the sprite was good! As for the service the service was very good! I hate that the corporate stores care more about exact percentages so they cut the hours of the employees so there is not enough servers to serve us customers. I think it's important that I update my review now that I'm a frequent visitor to this establishment and my experience here has significantly changed since my initial review. Their new menu is on point with the re-brand! Love that they're getting back to their roots. The service at this location has been excellent every time we visit and I'm almost always visited by a manager now to check-in on our dinner. I love sitting in Stefan's section - he always remembers my food and drink order and is especially kind to my 4-year old daughter. Food has always been great and consistent. We used to come to Chili's weekly for lunch and it was great. Now, Seated at 12:30 and drinks at 12:49. Table seated after us got drinks, chips, and salads before we got drinks. The management changed and there are new hires but damn, it has been months since the change. So now instead of weekly visits, we have been about once a month. If I did a shadow shop here it would be a bad start. The food was good and the food came out fast and made up for the delay in the beginning. Time from start to finish was 1hour and 10 min, for a party of 5. Much better then last visit. Should not be in business. Ordered full rack of ribs to go with fries and salad with BC. Ribs were the driest, tasteless pieces of meat I have ever had, disgusting. Side salad with BC was not in the bag when we got home. The chicken on my wife's "salad" was full of gristle and "the salad" consisted of mostly lettuce cores. Don't ever order curbside pick up! They screw up every time!! When we called and told them that things were missing from our order they said we could go back and get them. I told them I didn't want the rest of my food to get cold. So I was told that our money would be refunded. Well that was a big fat lie! Never again! Service was really good. Hubby liked the free guacamole with our rewards. Love the chips and sauce. Tried the chicken fajitas for first time. They were surprisingly good. They do make them strong though and I made the mistake of asking them to go gentle on me when I ordered the second one. Unfortunately I was ordering a sex on the beach. Oops! Once nice thing about Chili's is that if you go to their web page you can print out a "Vegetarian Menu" which basically lists everything that is and can be substituted to give you more options than just their black bean burger. I went to this Chili's on a Thursday night with some friends after a play at a local theatre. There weren't many places open that late at night so we ended up at Chilis at about 10:15 since they don't close until 11. The waiter was kind enough but made it clear that our service would be lacking since they were already closing up for the night. He was right. The bartender called last call at 10:30 but failed to notify those of us in the restaurant area. The kitchen staff made it clear that they were unhappy about serving us so late at night. I don't enjoy being made to feel guilty for giving someone my patronage. As a manager of a steakhouse & bar in Alaska, I am not used to such treatment. In my experience, being one of the last places open should increase your service so that everyone comes to you for their late night meal. The place should have been packed and hopping with nightlife and instead was a complete disappointment. The food was good and our waiter kind. Chili's in Cleburne Tx, food wise, is pretty much the same as other Chili's. However, if you are NOT a smoker, Stay away from this one. I used to go occasionally, for a nice sit down meal. However, i never enjoyed it. The smell of cigarette smoke over whelmed any attempt at a decent meal. No matter where you sit. Add to that the need to wash what I wore to get the stench out. Pretty average Chili's. My boyfriend and I grabbed lunch here yesterday and our experience was akin to the Chili's back home in San Antonio. The staff were friendly and polite. The food tasted exactly the same and came out in a timely manner. We shared the triple dipper appetizer: big mouth bites, southwestern eggrolls and onion rings, and then both had soup.
