The Corporate Rot of America has finally hit Chili's. The Chain has fallen apart. Corporate has decided to treat the chain as a cash cow - and reduce expenses to the bare minimum. This means using the smallest possible number of people. The result - quality has taken multiple lethal hits. The place is now filthy, because there is not enough staff to buss tables or clean up. The bartender is expected to do lots of other things so don't expect anyone to be behind the bar to take your order. Training budgets are down - so screw-ups in the kitchen are now the norm. Beware of anything requiring the deep fat fryer. You now order off of computer screens rather than from people (what a cost saving!) and you can count on getting tons and tons of irritating self-promotional emails in return for the chance to cash in your Chili's points. I was APPALLED to see that Chili's only had a 2 1/2 star review. guys...seriously.... For our first time trying out this place it was amazing. We both loved the food . The shrimp also had a nice spiciness to it which was unique and delicious. The pickle chips they have are perfect aswell which is rare to find good pickle chips so we were very impressed. Our waitress was very nice & helpful. We will definitely be going back. read more

It was a gloomy Wednesday a day after the Democrats rigged the Iowa caucuses for Pete Buttigieg ! We decided we wanted to go too chili's ! We hopped in our sexy Volkswagen and went. The waiter was in-experienced ! He was slightly rude. The sweet tea tasted old but I looked past it ! I was hoping the food would taste good. Well the appetizer was terrible they were Texas cheese fries ! They tasted like fast food ! Then the Cajun shrimp pasta was okay beside the fact they flooded the noodles wIth fake kraft great value cheese ! Chef Ramsey would've slaughtered the waiter ! This place stays busy all the time. Expect a 30 minute wait at prime time wknd nights. They could use a cocktail server in the bar area as the bartender is always slammed and more attentive service could be given. The margaritas are one of the best and the food is always good. read more

Closed for several weeks after minor flooding (Imelda) but reopened with seemingly better staff and food than we have experienced in the past. The "2" for $25 is a GREAT deal as it comes with an appetizer and dessert as well as 2 of their more popular entrees. Great drink menu as well! read more

Very good this evening! The service was excellent, our waiter was prompt, attentive, and on top of our needs. The coffee was hot, and refreshed. The four of us had a 2 for $22 deal. Chicken quesadilla's, grilled chicken and chicken fajitas. All portions were large, we took home plenty. read more

I'd say the experience wasn't that great tbh. When we asked for something our waitress would come and set it on our table and leave quickly, all while just working 2 slow paced tables, also didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Also, when I went to the Mens restroom it had a huge puddle right when u walk in, aka a (safety hazard), the toilet was filled with toilet paper. Didn't see the managers once on the floor which explains a lot that I witnessed. read more

Had the new Honey Chipotle Crispers wanting to try something differwnt, but unfortunately they were not what I expected. Maybe my sweet tooth was sensitive today, but they were way to sweet for my taste. That combo with the waffle worked nicely, but it wasnt eniugh to soak up the sugar. OK, Chilis is Chilis. You basically get the same experience at every location. However, I must say that the service here was impeccable. Additionally, the loaded queso and their new oreo molten lave cake dessert were wonderful. The prime rib tacos were good, but they did not sit that well with me. I understand it is game day and it's busy etc. BUT Today I ordered a favor to pick up a to go order of a boneless buffalo SALAD and waiting over 45 minutes for this to be delivered to my place of work where I am alone all day just as busy unable to leave the office for my own lunch. Super excited favor gets here with my order tipped him VERY well just to walk inside and find out that my SALAD had no dressing . How the heck does someone forget to add dressing to a salad. Not only can I not leave the office but I call Chili's and they simply just offer me a free salad one day if I can come in. This is ridiculous I was hungry and treated myself just to end up upset and disappointed with what USED to be my favorite restaurant in town . On top of that the salad at chilis is $10 and I spend over $18 on the delivery and tip. This is a ridiculous compensation . read more

Chili's is one of my favorite places to eat, but this location continues to disappoint me. On my first visit, I came and ordered appetizers and drinks; however, my waitress did not inform me that my choices were on the happy hour menu. Also, the chips were very oily and transparent. Everyone comes to chili's for the molten cake. Am I right?! Well, ours was not cooked at all. Why did I come back a second time you ask? Because I believe in second chances. On my last visit, the waitress brought out cold pasta and the food was not cooked properly. Also, she asked me what time it was. So inappropriate. I ordered the chicken tenders for my son. And to say the least, you could tell they had been sitting out for a few hours. And microwaved, they had that tough, dry & hardened texture. I came in here for lunch with my girlfriend just now and I was lucky enough to be served by the fabulous Michelle! The food was amazing and super quick! They were having a lunch rush yet Michelle was on top of her game the entire time! She was the best server I've ever had. If I could I would give this angel a pay raise such an amazing experience. Excellent food, new choices on the 2 for $20 menu. The new Loaded Bonelss Bites are awesome. We will be back and I'm sure the wife or I will more than likely try them again. This is a Chili's! And it's a pretty good one. As a chain, you know what to expect here--the food is your typical tex-mex, with good waiters, few issues, and tasty food. Don't expect anything too special, but you're going to have a tasty meal at a fair price. Recommended. read more

The restaurant overall is great. The customer service is terrible. Came after I ordered my ring and it took an hour just to order my food. Reviving the food wasn't a bad wait. The food was good with no problems. When it was time to pay, it took another hour just to get the ticket and about 20 minutes for her to actually charge the card. The service was good, and so were my fajitas. However, my daughter ordered the child's Macaroni and Cheese, and it came out bone dry and obviously cooked in the microwave. I sent it back, and asked them to not bring a new one back if that's how they cook it. It was like a bowl of rubber. read more

Let me tell you about this girl named Desiree. It's a Friday night, the place is packed and I managed to get a spot at the bar. I just came in for a conference and after driving 3 hours I needed a drink and dinner. This girl Desiree behind the bar was on point all night. She was slinging Miller Lite drafts, she was watching when I running low in something, she was being polite to the coworker that was constantly flirting with her. YOU GO GIRL. I'm an engineer but I want that girl's efficiency. Only 4 stars because the hostess said there wasn't room until I pointed out I was a party of one interested in the bar. read more

Any Chilis anywhere else is great but this one is terrible. Food is disgusting. Service is poor to mediocre. And they may have had an upgrade to their exterior but they need one badly for their interior. Like a really deep clean. Just has a weird must inside. Fajitas are not tasty and their cheese dip is Velveeta with ground beef and incredibly salty. Chilis is great anywhere (I've tried at Houston, Austin and even Washington DC airport) but this local one sucks! read more

I tried to give this place a chance since I love their menu, I guess just not in College Station. Tonight just ruined it for me when I ordered on their BS chillis at home crap! Waited over 45 mins just to find out the delivery service "door dash" canceled my order from delivery but not from the restaurant. I ordered at chillis.com yet I did "could not" get a refund. My how the mighty have fallen! I have been a Chili's customer for many years, so long in fact that I used to be a card carrying member of their frequent diner club back in the 90's. However, I can't do it anymore. The wait staff was great, but the food standards have really fallen. Chili's used to have the best fajitas, but now the chicken isn't even grilled anymore. My cheese enchilada came out refrigerator cold in the middle and my wife's fajitas had to be sent back to be cooked longer because the beef was raw in the middle. I will have to find another restaurant to frequent. It's not just the Chili's here in College Station either. Most of the Chili's I have gone to in the past couple of years have been disappointing. read more

I don't know why I bother with this location. I decided to order the lunch order of chicken bacon quesadillas that should come with fries and mine did not. Because I ordered to go, I called back and all the manager, Adam, could say was "I'm sorry for the oversight". Thanks for apologizing Adam but this isn't the first time this "oversight" happens at this location. My previous experiences at this Chilis included HAIR in my food. It's unsanitary and this kind of "oversight" tends to happen a lot often than not. Take your money to another establishment. This location needs a lot of work. Highly doubt anything will be done about these issues considering this is the ONLY location in CS. read more

Our server was fine, a little slow but it was crowded; however, the food was absolutely terrible. I ordered the sirloin and it tasted like actual rubber(not being dramatic) I sent it back and got pasta which was extremely dry. No one at my table finished their meals because they tasted so bad. El Presidente would not be pleased with the grub at Chili's. It's obvious that the advertising focuses on price for a reason. The food sucks. The margaritas are super though, and I am fond of the giant El Nino. So have a margarita then run. read more

0/5 if I could. Came for a gluten free salad after 10pm. Found hair IN (not on top of) the salad that was absolutely NOT gluten free. I ended up very sick from the gluten of one shrimp and two fork fulls of lettuce even after ordering from the gluten free menu. One of the few late night dining options in college station to offer gluten free and they REALLY failed in more ways than one. Waiter was kind and manager was apologetic, offering $10 in gift cards, but it doesn't touch this experience. read more
