0/5 if I could. Came for a gluten free salad after 10pm. Found hair IN (not on top of) the salad that was absolutely NOT gluten free. I ended up very sick from the gluten of one shrimp and two fork fulls of lettuce even after ordering from the gluten free menu. One of the few late night dining options in college station to offer gluten free and they REALLY failed in more ways than one. Never thought I would be writing a four star review for a major national chain, but here I am...writing that review. Chili's is actually pretty good among the BCS competition. Chips are thin, crispy, and addictive. The entrees are, well, Chili's entrees. The prices are quite reasonable with typical happy hour specials. The wait staff has always been mediocre to good, which is better than can be said for a lot of the local competitors. Overall, this place is always busy for a reason--they are a competitive place in the BCS market. read more

I went here with the husband last week to get a chicken sandwich and some chips and salsa. Beware!! They have changed the menu and I couldn't find anything I was looking for. The chicken sandwich I have been getting for the past 20 years was gone. I tried some chicken and waffles but it was not good at all. The fried tenders tasted like grease and the waffles were just blah but they covered it in sauce hoping you won't notice. My husband was craving a certain dish and it was gone too. He ended up getting the chicken crispers and didn't eat all of them. We took them home and I tried to eat them the next day for lunch but they were not very good. Our server was nice enough but it wasn't enough to make up for the disappointment in the menu change. The chips and salsa are still on the menu and are the only thing I would recommend. We may come back sometime but it will only be for salsa and a beverage. read more

If I could rate this location 0 stars.. I would. This is the 2nd AWFUL experience I have out of the few times we have been. The manager on duty tonight - again - was Joan.. she was the epitome of a TERRIBLE manager. She doesn't care about anything. She was on the floor eating.. just being very unprofessional. I have now had to put in two separate complaints about this woman. Our server, Matt, was nice at first and attentive. But one of us never got our food and after we made the comment we NEVER saw the server again. We asked for our checks multiple times.. and when we got them, they were all wrong. I just cannot believe that after many complaints, the corporate office has sent me a $10 gift card. I'd rather see that manager go through some training or even leave. It's not about the money or getting a "gift card" it's about wanting to go out to eat and being treated awful by servers and the manager EVERY TIME. This is by far my favorite chili's in Texas. The customer service provided is top notched and the team is so friendly. I came here a week ago and had the pleasure of having the amazing hostess Korrie serving me. She was amazing then and even mind blowing now. She served me today and she even remembered my previous along with knowing that I liked plastic utensils. She always has a smile on her face. She is indeed my new favorite here. The manager Vaughn was very nice to check up on the guests to make sure we were satisfied with our meal. I would definitely recommend Chili's! I would give them 10 stars if I could. The food is always hot and yummy! I definitely recommend their honey chipotle ribs and wings! Shout out to the chef!!! read more

Meal started off well enough but the service was not very good and the food was just ok. A group of friends went here after work I was the last to arrive as the sever was taking the drink order. I told him my drink and asked if we could get a skillet queso appetizer then he left. Drinks came out shortly and we're correct. Food order was then taken, still no queso. Ordered the food and about ten minutes later had not really seen the sever again while other tables around us received their chips and queso as well as got drink refills we got neither. Finally he came back refilled drinks but still no queso came out and then the entrees came out. My food looked like it had just been thrown on the plate however. The order came out correct though and everyone seemed happy with their food. For the restaurant to be half empty this wasn't a good experience. Haven't been to Chili's in years, my sister took me there for lunch yesterday. I had the Fajitas, they were the best I've had in a long time. the place was nice and clean and the computers at the table were a nice touch to show our advancing technology. It was awful. Had a group of 5 from come in . took 20 minutes to get our alcahol beverages. Took 30 to get a refill. My boss waited 20 minutes for a server to take his order. Then waited 18 more for the drink to arrive. I was told on my second beer I have to order food if I wanted another. I asked for a different server and got blown off. I've never had any real problems here. The food is OK and I don't eat there a lot but when I do I settle for a burger or ribs. Once I shared the nachos with friends and that was all right too but sort of pricey. The margaritas are pretty good and I like the atmosphere if you have a decent waiter/waitress and with friends. Otherwise, I could pass up this place every time and not have any regrets. read more

I go to this chili's probably once a week. The service is always nice and they seem to be busy all the time. I got the new baby back dr pepper ribs and omg they are amazing. I get the sauce with almost any meal now because it is just that good. We never have to wait long for our food. The kitchen is quick. I love to order lava cakes to go. Its always ready for pick up. Definitely enjoy eating at this Chili's. read more

So I just had the worst experience i've had in a restaurant in as long as I can remember... I went to the Chili's Grill & Bar in College Station TX and they took 40 minutes to get us our food after we ordered. My steak was way overcooked. I asked for a replacement, but they replied with "Kitchen is closed for the night, sorry." So now I'm hungry, mad, and without a dinner. read more

My first visit to college station and maybe my hundredth visit to a chili's restaurant, but never to this location.. I ordered the Steak .. the meat was disgusting, I myself own a couple bar and grilles one of which we offer top loin steaks with specific gradient cuts. . The steak I received here was terrible, so I ordered a pizza instead. who can mess up a pizza right.. well they can, it was terrible, bread with thin layers of tastless sauce cheese and a couple pepperonies for 10 bucks.. not worth it, but to end the day, I stayed cordial and polite the entire time and even left a nice tip, even though our table was cluttered and never cleaned by the waitress whenever we finished something. the clutter which kept me from visibly seeing that I had left my 300$ versace sunglasses on the table, when we left, I called the next day thinking the wait staff would have held it like responsible people.. but to my dismay they had stolen it.. no way to have accidentally thrown it away. and the manager did nothing to remedy the situation read more

The College Station Chili's is still a good place to go. Unfortunately, we are a bit biased, because we recently moved from Atlanta, Georgia and left a fabulous Chili's. They only thing I would like to see is that they remember that families also live in Brazos County. They didn't seem as thrilled to serve kids here as to what we were used to in Atlanta. The openness to our kids has always been something that has made Chili's a perfect place for us to meet up with family or lots of friends. All else was really good. read more

Never again will I go to a chills because this place puts all other bad experiences to shame. From start to finish the disappointments kept coming, our waiter I hope was new for everything thing he did was almost an insult. We started off by ordering an appetizer which cost us 9 dollars for the most pathetic looking egg rolls I've ever seen ( truly I wish I would have taken a picture), then leading into the main course which proved to be just as much a disappointment. My order was wrong and them upon receiving my correct order my food was cold. All this disappointment was nothing com paired to what comes next. If there was a zero star option I'd give it. I love Chilis. It's my favorite and eat at them everywhere I travel. This one was SO disgusting. I couldn't find a table in the bar because there were 4 or 4 tables that hadn't been bussed so I sat at the bar. Order my usual. Chips were cold and stale. Salsa was runny. Salad wasn't very flavorful. I went to the rest room and it was so gross and hadn't been tended to in awhile but the worst part of the entire experience is when I was about to sign my check, a HUGE bug ran out from behind the bar right across my bill and my hand!!! Not as big as a cock roach but like a small beattle. Maybe the grossest thing that's ever happened to me while dining out and I travel a lot!! If I'm ever back here I will NEVER go to this Chilis again. My guess is since it's right next to A&M that they can get away with disgusting stuff because college kids don't care.
