When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was the views over Bryan/College Station, they are truly amazing. We were there not only for a birthday but to watch Texas A&M kick off their season. They had the game on several TVs around the rooftop and with lots of comfortable seating, watching the game was almost like watching it at home. Credit here goes not just to the setting, but to the exceptional team on duty Mattie, Georgia, and Jordan. Their service struck the perfect balance: attentive without hovering, genuinely enthusiastic, and clearly invested in making sure guests felt welcome. It's rare to find staff whose energy elevates a night just as much as the food or drinks, but they pulled it off effortlessly. Speaking of drinks: Reveille's bar program is worth lingering over. We sampled a variety of their specialty cocktails alongside the classics, and not a glass disappointed. The food followed through with equal strength. Chef Keith Snook deserves applause for a menu that blends Texas heartiness with elevated execution. The Short Rib plate was rich and tender, the Texas Charcuterie board felt both rustic and refined, and the Pork Belly Burnt Ends were smoky, indulgent, and perfectly caramelized and were the kind of dish that lingers in memory. If you want a proper cheeseburger, go in the back door, not the front (saloon) doors. If it's gameday, go an hour or two before the game. Order your food at the counter, then proceed out of that room to the back bar. Order a shiner bock to accompany your cheeseburger. Proceed to the back by the pool tables and say hi to the rattlesnake in the far back. Around that time, someone will be calling your name for food. If you've got time to hang out and play pool with some friends, or before a game, grab a pitcher and find a table. Note that this review is for daylight hours only, and the evening (a good time in its own right) is a different experience than covered here. We entered from the campus side and I was embarrassed as to not knowing how to get to the ordering counter (lol) but we eventually made it. My chicken fried chicken sandwhich was decent but it needed some onion or pickle or extra mayo. The onion rings were spectacular! If you come in with a parent that was on Peanuts, they will understand the PA perfectly. Everyone else takes their chances. With the basket you get a PILE of bar fries.
