Best dining experience we have had in a while, they had all of the football games on and the sound was playing at the perfect volume in the bar area. My sister and I came in for lunch on Sunday afternoon, everyone was so friendly and accommodating ( hostess, server, bartender, and even food runner). Came here yesterday and had the Old Timer Cheese Burger (with everything on it) w/ fries. Also had Tito's Punch. Burger was delicious! They cooked that meat just right! I must say I'm floored that both times I've come to Chilis I've been served by awesome gentlemen. The hostess seemed slightly dazed and confused, she stared directly at me with no expression or any sense of courtesy. This was a little uncomfortable to be honest, however the experience was made up by David in particular tonight. His poise, sense of urgency and overall attentiveness made for a great dinner and conversation. My friend and I enjoyed ourselves and not once had to wait to be checked on, followed up with or ensured satisfaction. I'm not too sure what's happening with the training at this location, but amazing job to the servers! Continuously showed massive respect towards our family of 4 and in the end when our 4yo wanted to "pay", graciously took our card from her.(Most waiters that we've encountered will roll their eyes.) Really disappointed. As they were going to seat us, we noticed multiple empty booths in the bar area. We asked if we could have one of those to see the tvs. They said no and sat us pretty much in the back with no tvs at all. The food was cold. & the garlic bread that came with my food was soggy. Our appetizer came out and was immediately followed by our entrees. Our waitress must have been new because she seemed really confused. She was really nice but was doing things weird too. We all needed refills and she got mine, then came back and got my son's, then came back and my husband's. Normally love chili's and was on my way planning to bring my son here for lunch. Realizing I didn't have my card in hand with I called ahead to ask if I can use Apple Pay from phone. The lady said yea we take it but it doesn't always work.... My response was well if I come in with the payment you take and your system Isn't working then what? Very rudely her response was well find another way to pay! I said ok thanks and got a ride huff from her with the phone being hung up. Definitely won't be eating here and giving them my money far better service places to eat at without rude staff. Horrible server. Wish I could leave 0 stars, but the hostesses were more helpful than her. She sat down in a chair and talked to two different tables of people, one of them right behind us, but couldn't even try to help us. We were waiting quite a long time for our food. When we got it, it wasn't hot and she wasn't even the one to give it to us. When I asked for boxes, she only gave us one and walked away before we realized it. I had to walk up to a table where she was focused on talking to her friends and she didn't even see me, or if she did, clearly ignored me and eventually it took a hostess to get my box for me. She gave us refills on our soda, but didn't stick around long enough for us to ask for water instead. And when it came time to pay, she assumed we were paying card, but we were not. We were waiting a while for her to come back to collect the cash and she never did, so we thought maybe we needed to pay at the host station. When we get up there they tell us we were supposed to pay our server and they try to call her on their earpieces. When we walk back to our table to wait on her is when we see she is sitting down in a chair talking to the table right behind us. I had to stand there awkwardly for her to notice us and she claims my friend told her she was paying with card. Then gives us sass asking if we even knew how much the total was. Just a really weird way to act. It felt like everything we asked for was too much of an inconvenience and that we were supposed to just wait on her for whenever she decided she felt like she was done talking to her friends.
