Decided to come here for a birthday dinner after hearing so many great reviews. We had a reservation for a party of 7 and were initially seated at a table for 6, but after asking the host, they did move us, which we appreciated. Drink orders were taken right away, and everyone received their drinks except my fiancé. He eventually just ordered a different drink instead. We placed our food order around 7:15, but the appetizers came out one by one instead of together, which already set the tone for the night. Our main courses didn't arrive until around 9:00 PM, almost two hours later. On top of that, two of our dishes were completely forgotten and had to be re-rung and brought out even later. We didn't plan on spending over two hours at dinner, but at that point we didn't have much of a choice. The food itself was actually very good, but not for the price. For a party of 7 where everyone only had one drink, our bill came out to over $1,450, nearly $210 per person. At that price point, there really isn't room for this many mistakes. It was also very obvious that the restaurant was understaffed. One woman was running the entire top floor by herself, taking orders and making drinks. That's not fair to the staff or the guests. Overall, the potential is there, but the service and staffing need major improvement, especially for such an expensive dining experience.

My husband and I love making our wedding anniversaries a big deal, and we're always on the hunt for a restaurant that truly checks all the boxes--somewhere you want to dress up, feel special, and know the experience was created with you in mind. That is exactly how Prime 25 feels. Whether you dress up or down, you will not regret dining here. The manager, Julie, was incredibly thoughtful, and our server, Ra, was an absolute delight. It's hard to exceed my expectations on important days, but they did just that. Hats off to the chef!! Perfect! We can't wait to come back. Bring class back to dating--take your special people here.

Mark Wahlburg- special request for our anniversary

The food was alright but I did expect more then they specialize in seafood and steak. I think they should be on point not just alright. For appetizers we got the chorizo mussels and for dinner I had the filet mignon (medium) and Brussel sprouts. My husband ordered a New York (medium) and the duck fat potatoes. The mussels, duck fat potatoes and Brussel sprouts were really good. The steaks were a tad disappointing. My steak was over done and my husband New York didn't even have any fat rendered. Like I said above was hoping for good steaks being a steak place. We went here for our 22nd wedding anniversary my husband put some special instructions in the opened table app. Ramsey; our waitress nailed the request! She went able and beyond. The request was to have a picture of Mark Wahlberg at our table (inside joke). Not only was there a picture it was framed and she made a card the entire staff signed. Ramsey not only went above and beyond on the special request but she was an outstanding waitress! She was very attentive, never had empty waters or drinks, she stopped by several times to make sure we were ok. It's hard to come by that time of attention/customer service. Ramsey, you are amazing!!

Prime 25 is a fantastic steakhouse located in Downtown Colorado Springs. The location is easy to get to, as they are just on Tejon St. and, although there are many pot holes and gravel, there is a parking lot next to the building. I would be cautious taking a nicer vehicle coming here. The hostess was welcoming and seated our party of 7 for dinner. The ambiance is great - dimly lit interior with customizable, dimmable touch lamps, a partial view of the kitchen, faux fireplace around the walls, and beautiful music surround the place. In addition, the aroma of freshly made food smells enticing. To start, we started with appetizers: * 1 Dozen (2 orders of the 1/2) Oysters * Crab Cake * Tuna Tartare * "Million Dollar" Bacon I really enjoyed the Bacon (aka Pork Belly). It was tender and the fat lended great flavor. the Tuna Tartare was also delicious and a perfect starter. For Dinner, our party ordered a variety of steaks and sides. For myself, I ordered the 8 oz. Filet Mignon with a side of Bordelaise. My steak was cooked to a perfect Medium. We all shared sides so we had a few options to try: * Broccolini * Crispy Duck Fat Potatoes * Truffle Mac & Cheese * Crispy Brussels My favorite was the Crispy Brussels. It had a sweet and sour sesame flavor that was so good - it may have been better than my steak! I loved it so much! And, in general, I just love Brussels Sprouts when cooked/flavored the right way. I also ordered a non-alcoholic drink called "Bee Well," which had a combination of Lemon, Honey, Grapefruit Soda, and Fresh Basil. Absolutely refreshing and right up my alley! I loved both the Brussels Sprouts and this mocktail. For desserts, we tried the following: * Cheesecake * Chocolate Layer Cake * Tres Leches Cake Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the Tres Leches Cake because it had a subtle sweetness yet great texture and it didn't come out soggy. Overall, our server was great and attentive, the space was beautiful, and the food was delicious as was the dessert. I hope to come back again the next time I'm in Colorado!

This steakhouse was decent, but I wouldn't say it's the top spot in town. It's situated in a sketchy area, and the parking lot area is pretty bad. We managed to snag a reservation just an hour before, which was a nice bonus. We got there on time and were seated shortly after. The food and service were just alright--not amazing. For the price, I was hoping for something a bit better. I gave it a shot, but I probably won't return at this price.

Came back after a two year hiatus and was pleasantly surprised. (I'm so glad!) Of course, nothing about the ambiance has changed; it's still a gorgeously set and swanky room. The food was back up to standards. We had appetizers for dinner, including the duck wings, oysters, very plump shrimp cocktail, octopus, tuna tartare, and all was fresh and nicely plated. Service was quick and friendly.

Poor attitude, over priced. 20% tip added to my dinner for two (2). This was definitely more of a tip than the staff deserved

But my friends and I all decided to order the LIGHTS OUT BURGER. It's a smash burger with 2 patties, cheese & pickles. It's quite simple. It's listed as Denver's most popular burger & I can easily understand why. It's very good! A solid choice in my opinion. The burger is juicy. It has all the right ingredients to satisfy anyone's burger cravings. And on the particular Monday that we came here, they were offering an all-day happy hour discount on burgers. So, we got a discount on the burger. If you had ordered fries, you would have just paid the original price of the burger which is honestly a steal! If you can time your visit for a Monday, save the cost & stop by! Give the Lights Out Burger a try - you probably won't regret it. From my experience, the service here is excellent as well, which is always a plus.

If you're sitting at the bar you can see the window where your food comes up -- our salad and fries both sat there about ten minutes before anyone brought them the ten feet over to us. Not a huge deal, but it's a little cruddy sitting there thinking "I'm pretty sure that's ours" and waiting. The ambiance is very dark, with a lot of stairs up and down -- you head into sort of a basement-type area. Everything I saw was clean and nice. It's a cool, funky spot to take a date or hit for happy hour, so the vibe and ambiance are definitely spot on for that. Signature cocktails -- all fine. Not the best thing ever, but solid. I'd have them again. Side salad -- good. The ranch is made in house and very flavorful, and the salad was actually loaded with veggies. French fries with garlic aioli -- a bit of a letdown. We didn't even finish them. They came out okay, just a little dry, and the aioli itself wasn't very good -- we didn't really like it. Pro tip: The entrées looked pricey, which is why we stuck to snacking at the bar -- and after the fries came out, we were fine calling it there and eating elsewhere. Overall, would recommend for happy hour, and would return.
