Visited this restaurant at the end of a long day that included a 6 hour road trip. After seeing some of Memphis, we needed some food and didn't want to move around much trying to figure out something decent to eat. We all decided on Chili's. I think we arrived here maybe 8:45 and were served a half hour later, probably. The food did what it needed to do. Fill us up with familiar eats. I can't say that anything was overly good or bad for that matter. The service was slow. The server took our order and practically disappeared until the food was ready. Fair enough. I think they had her running a huge section or basically no help. Either way, they need more servers working on a Sunday night. read more

Ok! I think I want to have a more positive review of Chili's, but I can honestly only give 2 stars. We were seated soon enough, but a no-go for me is being seated in proximity to the bathroom, especially when there is plenty of other seats available. We had to request a different table. The food was just ok. The best things we had were the Southwest Egg rolls and the street corn. The ribs we ordered did not taste like ribs and contained way more fat than any I've had recently and the chicken tenders didn't seem to be cooked hard enough and had only been partially sauced. Our waitress was trying to handle many tables as it seemed that the host was bringing all customers to this one section. I was confused as there seemed to be plenty of available waitresses. I ordered Chili's online and the Baby back ribs tasted fine but it was not enough barbecue sauce on the meat. They did not send condiments,napkins or silverware. The street roasted corn had way too much butter and chili powder.,the broccoli was thrown all over the container and the broccoli was not seasoned. The chicken bacon ranch quesadillas was not good.,it was dry,greasy,with no bacon or ranch. The chicken crispy crisper was hard. So the new cheese things are amazing. Specially with the sauces and the cooks make it fresh and hot . Host is never seen at the door . I usually go to the to-go section and the people are not great with customer service but some employees do their job great so it evens out and honestly the place is clean so overall it's nice . read more

Great food! Amazing service. We were seated and greeted immediately. Our server was Angel and she did an amazing job. She had several other tables and was still very attentive to our table as well as others. We ordered the ribs combo and it was so good. Highly recommend. We didn't wait long for our food and it was hot fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. This chili's definitely needs more credit. I went to Chili's last night, got on the waiting list at 6:45pm. I was told the wait time was 35-45 minutes, after going inside to find out how far I was on the waitlist, there was 12 parties ahead me. This is your normal neighborhood chili's. They have everything all chili's have. I must warn you, the skillet queso most certainly isn't normal queso. It made me sicker than a dog. When I asked if they had just regular queso it cane in a stinking skillet! So no wonder it's confusing. But their regular white queso is pretty stellar honestly. Great service from Carter. We were seated immediately for lunch and food came promptly. I chose the chicken crispers. It was crispy. I chose the 4 pc chicken but could have ordered more pieces. The pieces were good sized. It comes with two sides. The French fries were just like I like them: crunchy on the outside and soft inside and lightly dusted with seasoning. Ok...so my review is more of a disappointed rant as a diabetic. I belong to the Chili's rewards program and as a perk the company offers members freebies on their birthday. Case in point they offer a free dessert. As a diabetic that is a no-no. So I asked if they would be willing to exchange the dessert for an appetizer of the same price that would meet my dietary needs. Other restaurants do so. The server was great, totally understanding and didn't see a problem. She just wanted to verify with her manager. The manager said no. While I understand the reason, I still find it disappointing that Chili's wouldn't do so AND that the manager didn't offer apology or sympathy. Waited 30 minutes for a Togo order that was placed 15 minutes before we went to pick it up (given pick up time was when we showed up). When my boyfriend got the food he said the person who handed him the food said "sorry for the wait, they're not doing anything in the kitchen," basically making it sound like she had no control over the people in the kitchen. Like I said, we live 3 minutes away from here. There's no reason why all $35 worth of food we got is COLD. Ice cold. Then they gave us "chicken tenders" that they counted as part of the total count of tenders, that are literally MAYBE 2 inches long. Update May 2024 - how bad can it be? Let me count the ways. Staff don't give a flying f*ck. Hostess was slow as molasses and looked like she'd just rolled out of bed. Our server seemed supremely annoyed by having to serve us. We had to ask the server for refills, even though the place was dead. Fajita trip came with enough site cheese/salsa/guac for maybe one wrap. Only got four tiny tortillas. Asked for more sides and didn't get more guac, whic was fine, bc it was brown. Steak was waaay overcooked. Had to go to the bar ourselves to find out how much an extra shot would cost. Drink special was BOGO, but they served them at the same time, so the 2nd was melted by the time I got to it. Drank both and got zero buzz, and I'm a lightweight who seldom drinks. We signed up for rewards to get the free chips n salsa, and we showed it to the server, but he still charged us for it. Salsa is suuuuper watery. A diff server tried to bring us three sofas, and then our server charged us for them. To put it simply, this location BLOWS. read more

I knew better then to order from Chili's and I should've stuck to that. As usual, Chili's served less than quality food. I ordered carne asada, Mexican rice and black beans. The steak was just ok, the green sauce on it was flavorless but spicy. The rice was dry, to the point of being crispy. Not good in any way. The canned black beans were ok, but could've been rinsed before warming and would've been better. My friend ordered the triple appetizer. House BBQ wings were terrible. Dribbled in sauce and over cooked. The southwest eggrolls were mushy and just..no. At least the crispy chicken was ok. There was really nothing that could've saved this meal except a refund. I do not recommend any location of Chili's because if they aren't anything else, they are consistent. Chili's you need to do better. read more

I have been to this place before and tried to give it a second chance today. It was a disappointment again. We ordered carry-out for tonight's Mother Day dinner. They misplaced the order. The food pick-up time was 55 minutes. We waited 15 more minutes. The food was cold; it was poorly made. Cheese in the taco burnt; the tortilla was hard and barely any chicken filling. See pictures. Ordered a to-go for my wife and I and when I took the order back home 1/3 of the entire meal was missing. Called them back up and told them that and when I told the lady - the one who took my order - of what happened she said that I could either come back to pick up the rest or she can have the manager have it ready for me another time. I chose to go back and when I picked it up there was no apology from the manager and only an apology from the person who took my order. I didn't expect a comp but at the very least I expected an apology from the manager. Granted they were busy when I picked up my order but that doesn't deserve an excuse from this establishment. I stopped with the intent to order take out, but upon entering and viewing the SOCIAL DISTANCE RESTRICTIONS, I decided to dine in. Every staff member was wearing a mask. And every other table was blocked off with tape. It wasn't necessarily cosmetically pleasing, but it went above and beyond ensuring that every party maintained their 6ft. Had not been to this Chili's in some time as the last time the food was undercooked and not very good. We went back on 12/28/23 to see if things had improved. Food was terrible, wait staff were invisible. Over the years I have said that Chili's babyback ribs were as good as any in Memphis - the ribs last night were the worst I have ever had, anywhere. This Chili's should consider following in the footsteps of the Germantown Chili's - just lock the doors and move on.
