My husband and I always come here! We always compare other chilis to here, and find this one has the best customer service. We normally sit in the bar and have el presidentes and order food. They are fast and always taste great! The bartenders know us now, don't know if that's a good thing or bad, hahaha but they always greet us and ask how we've been. Just today we were in and the bartender that we love noticed it had been a while. She noticed we'd just got married and congratulated us. This place has good service, good food, and good drinks! I love Chili's eat there all the time... I have rewards and I love them. However today I went to the Chili's in Escondido Ca on E. Valley Parkway and the food was ordered togo and I got it home and it's absolutely disappointing. I went for my lunch break so there's no getting anything else to eat but this food is cold. The food at chili's is usually pretty good. I ordered a half rack of ribs but was served a third of a rack of ribs. I mentioned to the waiter that the order was short 2 ribs and I was told that it was by weight. Excuse me but the menu said half a rack not we sell ribs by weight. So in my book that is false advertising. read more

Chilli's ,like Apple Bees and TGI Fridays have always been about the same to me. Similar places with slightly different menus and for the most part decent food. Recently Chili's installed little computer kiosk at the tables. Now I have to tell you its been a pleasure. While waiters/waitresses are there to serve you still, if you like you can order from the kiosk. They have a full menu and even games for the kids. If you would like something from the bar you can order that too and even after you have your meal you no longer have to wait for your server to check on you if you are wanting something else. And the icing on the cake is you can also pay right at the kiosk making it much faster if you are on a schedule. As a convenience there is even a tip calculator on the kiosk that is adjustable. I have to say of the mid level places this is one of my favorites for sure. read more

Brandon the bartender this evening is AH-MAZING!! got our drinks, apps and food in very quickly, we sat ourselves in the bar and as soon as he came out of the kitchen, he acknowledged us, got our margaritas right away, told us of the presidente special they had going on and promptly brought us two drinks! We went into this Chili's on a Saturday night at 10:45pm...they close at 11:30. We ordered 2 beers and the server was cool. Within minutes the staff started cleaning the bar with chemical sprays and putting all the stools away on the dining tables getting ready to close up. Besides us there was one other couple still eating. Staff was in such a hurry to close up that they kept banging into the backs of our chairs. The couple eating got their order messed up and asked the server with the red bandana if she would correct it...she said the kitchens closed. This was at 10:55. When we heard this we asked her for the manager. A woman claiming to be the manager came out and just looked at us. So we asked if you close at 11:30 and she said yes. Then we asked why is everyone in a hurry to close up? The people next to us just ordered and their order came out wrong and your staff is banging into us with all the cleaning they are doing. She just stared blankly...We left without drinking or paying for our beers. Its ridiculous that the staff was so rude and that the manager had zero training on what to do. Never again! read more

I'm leaving a 5 star review for the restaurant and the employees themselves. Our server was Juan who was great. The food was great as were the drinks. My fiancee and I had a couple of burgers and an iced tea and lemonade. The problem, however was the 5 top to the left of us. Three of which were males all wearing their cute matching little Aztec Nation shirts and were clearly intoxicated and extremely profaine. I saw a female server come from the bar and ask them to quiet down but they refused and continued being extremely loud and obnoxious. One of them, being the tough guy that was with all that liquid courage, made physical threats to the female server after she walked away. Clearly the rest of the restaurant were just as annoyed as we were but tried to enjoy their meals. As we left the restaurant I noticed there were several tables including a booth behind the booth of drunks with children. I know how tough it is having been in the restaurant business dealing with obnoxious drunks so high fives to the staff but there should be a place with reviews to where the staff and their customers can rate and review other customers because this group deserves a less than zero rating. read more

Now when we got our salads...it was terrible making me wish WE ate at Olive Garden. Then one of our side orders was the corn on the cob and geez that corn was mushy and bland. We also had the loaded mashed potatoes and let me tell you that the hospital will have better tasting loaded potatoes over this place super bland and needed salt and sour cream would have made it taste better. Then on to that the bacon burger man that burger was really juicy and bland we were super disappointed with our whole experience and waste of money. Anyone I know or will run into I will tell them not to go here and you can get better quality food at George Burgers on Broadway. Ryan was our server and let me tell you we've always had great service there but his service was way above and beyond!! My husband and the kids were leaving dinner to make an 8:00 movie which left me to pack up the two babies by myself. This is the worst chillis I have ever been to. The customer service is horrendous. I've given this place many many chances but I'm treated so horrible everytime. I have never written a bad review for any restaurant but I am fed up. I will not come back. From the girl by the door to the waitress and everyone else are so rude. I'm ignored when asking for napkins or an extra couple lemons. My food is basically thrown on the table if the waitress is in a bad mood. They need a whole new staff. Chili's always provides a solid meal (3+ stars for chain restaurant food in my opinion) and I love their Presidente margaritas! That said, last night we had a party of 20 for my daughter's 21st birthday and went in expecting slowish service given the size of our group. We literally ordered from all over the menu. Some had steaks, some had salads and soups and others pasta so certainly some of us should expect to wait or for something to get missed, right? Well, not this time!!! Our servers, Ashlynn and Abigail were attentive, friendly and fun! Both had terrific attitudes and even worked out a fantastic system to separate our checks (which they OFFERED to do for us, which is a far cry from most severs as separate checks are a huge PITA, especially with such a large group)! Went here on Sunday night after work. My family decided to meet for dinner to break up the drive home. Upon entering we were warmly greeted and quickly ordered some happy hour margaritas from the bar. I had some type of fresh raspberry margarita which was great. My girlfriend ordered something else which she liked too (think it was the presidente margarita). As soon as the rest of the party came in we left the bar and asked for a regular table. The lady who greeted us was very nice and seated us quickly. We were greeted promptly by our server and soon enough everyone at the table noticed it was quite cold sitting under the vent, so since one of the people in our party couldn't hang she asked for us to be moved to another table which they did no problem. As soon as we got to the other table we noticed we could still feel the vent blowing out ice cold air on a rather brisk October evening. I don't complain about things like this but the other three people I was with definitely agreed it was cold. My mother asked the server if there was a way to turn off the air and he happily said that he would relay the message to the manager and it was turned off very soon after. Thank you for doing that! There was a bit of a confusion during the ordering process with our server (we were probably 50% partially responsible since everyone was trying to talk at the same time), but one thing the server didn't do was repeat our order back to us which would have prevented the next two issues: I received the wrong cocktail and my mom and dad didn't even receive their food. Again, I probably should've said something other than, "I'll take another one of these," since he didn't even ring in my drink in the first place when I ordered my first one at the bar, but a simple question of what I was drinking wouldn't have bothered me at the least in order to clarify what I was having because once the other drink came and I took a sip it tasted horrible, but I just kept it and didn't say anything because I am not that type of customer. I did feel a little bad for my parents because there was a mixup and they didn't even receive their food. Once it was brought to the server's attention he made sure it came out as fast as possible so thanks for that and also thank the kitchen for us on that one. All in all, it was busy, and the server did a good job in dealing with our table and meeting our requests in a more than timely manner. At this point I was becoming a little frustrated with my mother for wanting to complain as I have worked in this industry for 12 years and fully understand that stuff like this happens. I had some sort of a honey chipotle chicken tenders with corn and French fries which were tasty. I had some kind of onion jalapeño twists that came with ranch, as an appetizer, and although they were good I don't think I'd order them again. I liked the soft pretzels that came with a cheese dip but they did have a lot of grease or oil on them. My mom ordered some kind of sampler (triple dipper?) which she liked but said that the buffalo strips tasted cold when they hit the table. My mom filled out the electronic survey at the table, although she opted to say something in person to management since there was know way of leaving an e-mail or a phone number on the handheld survey with their iPad-like machine. The hostess that was working that night was wonderful and said the right words to my mom as she asked for a manager and as soon as the manager arrived she handled everything in a very nice way that made my mom leave happy. All in all, it was a little rocky at some points but I gave four stars based on how well your staff handled each situation that was brought up. Thank you. Will definitely be back someday. read more

Came to chilis to have a dinner with my husband and kids... But I have to say chilis your food is just not up to par. I ordered the old timer burger and onion rings, first off let me say this, the bread was dredged in so much butter that when I put the burger down on my plate the butter dripped down my hand, also the patty itself was overlooked and the burnt cheese was still around the edges, the cook didn't even bother to take it off or even hide it at the least, my son got the macaroni and cheese from The kids menu , but let's face it who can mess something so simple as Mac n cheese, we'll apparently the cook at this spot could, the mac n cheese was dry and pastey like as if it were microwaved...didn't know chilis hired chef mike(microwave) but I guess they have, my husbands trio platter was way over greasy and the tortillas were cold , not to mention the veggies were so soggy he left them all on his plate, my baby girls food was the only good thing as far as food goes, but hey I guess when it's something as simple as a quesadilla any one can make one. Drinks were cold and the new berry margarita was mediocre and way watered down, sad to say that the best thing about this place was the waiter MILES, he was great and very attentive and always took his time to listen to my son who wanted to be a big boy and order for himself, I appreciate that MILES , your patience and service were awesome...hence the $11 tip.will I come back.... ,mmmmmm probably not, and for that chilis I am sorry but you gain no stars from me and I'm pretty sure this is not fixable, it was nice doing business with you for the past 11 years but I think it's time to cut the apron strings, your food has gone way downhilll, hope you can fix this befor you lose a longtime patron:( read more

I have a high expectation when it comes to chilis restaurant. I've been to a few chilis restaurant and have a great time eating with my friends. Foods are properly serve and cooked nice especially my favorite pajitas. We order this menu and expecting a good looking food and must be tasted good. 1. Onion is not caramelized 2. Chicken is so dry 3. Green bell paper is not cooked in butter and not even half sauted. 4. Beef steak is not freshly cooked and so dry as well. 5. No lime on the side of the pajitas. 6. Smoked ribs BBQ is disgusting 7. Chicken is like stone to hard. 8. Servers are everywhere. 6 tables are being served by 4 host. Not so organized.mens rest room is disgusting, my son is crying because the floor is filthy and men's urinal is leaking. Men's room is dirtier than a regular Chinese buffet restaurant. This afternoon my husband, 11 year old daughter and 2 year old daughter went in around 6 P.M. to have dinner. The host, a caucasian male with a tight navy blue shirt did not greet us with a smile but with a disgusted look. Despite all 4 of us being polite and saying hello. My 2 year old even kept smiling and saying hi to him. He scoffed when we asked him for a highchair, then realizing he was upset, i told him we didn't need it. My husband noticed his attitude right away, and asked him for the highchair again, his response was to point at me and say " she didn't want it" so he grabs a highchair and throws it to our table. Every customer witnessed this. My husband asked him if he had a problem he replied he was "rolling". We then got up and left. Thank you Chilli's for hiring someone who can't leave their personal feelings at the door and for finally showing my 11 year old that racism is real. I have been visiting this chilis for a few years now and have usually been very satisfied. In fact, it was my restaurant of choice for most of this time. I have never reviewed them before so I will owe them a positive one when my experiences reach my previous satisfaction. The last 3 times I have been here we have experienced long wait times after ordering food. I havent felt the typical warm reception either. This has left me less then excited at visiting and interested in finding other places to go. I had a very small steak serving this last time as well. Here a Chilies tonight it isn't even packed but it seems everyone is running around senseless and dangerously confused. What really irritated me was when I asked for my steak to be medium rare and he brings me a bloody steak that looks exactly like my wives. So I asked for it to be cooked a little longer and 15 minutes later he bring me a well done steak. Why am I paying you for the food I'm not eating. Ignorance is a blistering disease.
