In our party, some said the food was fine. My fajitas were not (loaded with peppers after I asked for none, the chicken was tough & the tortillas were so over microwaved they were like shoe leather.) We had 2 forks for a party of 5 (the waitress said she was bringing more forks, but instead brought 3 knives.) I finally got a refill of tea after it sat empty for 15 minutes. When I called to speak to a manager since they do not allow customers inside I was left on wait for over 20 minutes and no one answered. BOOK AHEAD OF TIME using Yelp to speed things up. Also had a gift card issue with this location last year. Purchased 100.00 in gift cards, but after using approximately 60.00 of it, they refused to honor them, and would not tell me why. Filed a chargeback and recovered the rest. No explanation was ever given why. The chili's website clearly showed I still had a balance. If you want Chili's, go to another town. It was disappointing from beginning to end and I'm fairly certain it has ruined Chili's for us. Besides the fact that being on the waitlist, subsequently being removed from the waitlist and then standing around waiting for someone to seat us was a nightmare. The food was barely warm which wasn't too much of a surprise considering how long it took despite minimal occupancy. Our order was wrong and my husbands beer had things floating in it. I went in to support Chili's because I heard they are going out of business, and no wonder they are. When I arrived I was seated all the way in the back where it appears a massive water leak happened. I was seated in a puddle and my feet were drenched. When we finally saw the waitress after 10 minuets and then we asked the waitress to move tables because if the water, she appeared angry. We finally were able to move tables. After our order was taken we were given our appetizer. Still no drinks. We got the chips and salsa which thus far is the only thing keeping chilis in business. Still no water. My family of five had dinner here tonight. We were told it was a 45 min wait, then got a text it would be longer. Understandable, as it is a weekend. No big deal there. We were seated at our table 10-15 min before we ever saw our waitress. By the time she got there, we asked to just go ahead and order our meals with our drinks. When I ordered, I asked for the Splenda for my tea and ranch with my meal. Drinks came several minutes later. I asked again for Splenda. After a while, a male come with my youngest's pizza. Do not patronize this Chili's. I ordered to go food (half rack of ribs and double broccoli). The ribs were cold and the broccoli was barely warm. I called back to get some sort of resolution and the manager, Natalie, was completely rude. She acted as if I was bothering her. She cut me off when I was telling her about that ribs and abruptly put me hold. She didn't tell me she would be getting someone else on the phone. Fast forward, When the line picked back up it was someone totally different. Her name was Kaylyn. She was super nice and apologized for the food being cold. Kudos to her. I feel like if Natalie is the kitchen manager or in position of authority she should have been a little...no a lot more into what happened and how to rectify the situation. All she wanted to do was pass the buck AND pass it with a nasty attitude. I can honestly say I won't be going back there. This place. Fayetteville has a serious apathy problem in its chain restaurants, but THIS PLACE?? We waited in our cars for 90 minutes for a table in this establishment. We finally get pages and enter to a verbal altercation between the manager and a crazy guy with a Big Gulp cup. It took them 10 minutes to actually seat us, but at least the yelling provided entertainment while we waited. Our party was seated at a table right next to the carry out area. Every time the door opened we were blasted with arctic air. The table was also positioned so it had no light fixture above it...we had to use our phones to see the menu. It was a crazy busy Saturday night, the waitstaff were having to bus their own tables and they were dumping the dirty dishes on the Covid empty tables. We were sitting in the middle of an ocean of dirty cups and dishes. Our waitress was great. She tried her best to get us served. Two people in our party ordered the fajitas. They came with just meat and tortillas, no sides or anything. We asked and the poor waitress said she would bring them as soon as she could, but there were no clean "boats" for the toppings. The arctic breezes cooled our food till the fajitas were cold cuts. The bots arrived with our check. I starting coming here when I moved to Fayetteville in June. I normally stop and have a drink after a round of golf. They have 2 for 1 drinks all day which is great if their well drinks are okay. I don't expect top of the line but their well brand for vodka is a brand called Aristocrat vodka which terrible. I first encountered this brand about ten years ago at a cheese cake factory in Boise, Id. It was so bad I had to send back the drink. It has a heavy petroleum aftertaste. I have complained several times about the well brand at Chili's to no avail. Inexpensive drinks, yes. Are they drinkable, hell no. I worry why the brand tastes like petroleum. We were taking my son out to dinner for the eve of his recruitment to active duty and we had a large party. Our server greeted us with a straight face and said, "I'm scared of y'all". Needless to say we got off on the wrong foot. Next, she brought drinks (one water with floating debris) and took about 10 minutes to bring straws and forgot one our drinks. She told us that she would get the manager after she was done cleaning tables, in which I replied, no, I'd like to see the manager now. After speaking with the manager, our drinks were comp'd and we decided to depart the facility. I will not visit this Chili's location again while I'm in Fayetteville. Some staff need to learn how to treat guests and restore goodwill with patrons. I hope the shift leader took swift and decisive action with this waitress. Went there's for my 6 year olds birthday tonight ( 16 November 18). We were sat immediately and then waited 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order. The catch there is that no one even even came and told us they were our server. We had already decided what we wanted to eat and everything, but no server ever came. There were at least 7 empty seats in our section, and 3 servers walked right by us. After our 20 minutes wait we got up, complained to the manager and went to Applebees on Skibo where we were sat, order taken, and food served all within 30 minutes. I would compare the food but like I said, we didn't even get to make an order. If you get the option, ask for Jeff H(not me. Total coincidence). He's the best server at the Skibo Applebee's. Their customer service was amazing. We had our bill paid and left in under an hour 100% satisfied and left a very good tip. See Chili's, we tip well for good service. Maybe you should do something about that. After sitting for 25 minutes without being acknowledged, I got up and asked the hostess if we could move to another section. The hostess stated she would grab us some drinks and get our waiter. She brought the drinks and after another 10 minutes or so, the waiter finally stopped at our table to take our order. It took another 20-25 minutes to get our food. Service was just horrible. Tonight, my whole family decided to give it another try. We were seated immediately but again, waited more than 20 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone. Waiters and waitresses continued to walk past us without even looking our way. We just got up and left. We won't be back. While the service has been great, the food has always been lackluster. They've upgraded their menu with a lot more choices, but these upgraded options leave a lot to be desired. I do applaud their attempt to appear to be a higher quality restaurant, but I just can't take them seriously when I go to take a photo of my dinner, and immediately notice a hair. Yes, the presentation of the table-prepared guacamole was nice, but my burger (I believe it was a Hawaiian burger or spicy-mango), was virtually flavorless. We knew they have been sitting under the warmer for god only knows how long because the knife sticking out of the burger was fuming hot, as was the trays they came.
