We stopped by our local Chili's on a busy Friday night after a long day of shopping and were honestly so pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. Even though it was packed, we were seated right away in the bar area with no wait, which was a great start to the night. We decided to try the 3 for Me combo, and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was very attentive but also super laid back, which made the whole vibe relaxed and enjoyable. We loved that our food came out fresh and hot, you could definitely tell it was made to order. Being able to get an appetizer, meal, and beer for two adults for under $50 felt like such a win, especially on a Friday night. Great service, fresh food, and amazing value. Connor was amazing! We went in for lunch today and the service was great -- our server Connor (I think that was his name) was super attentive, friendly, and kept the vibe positive the whole time. Food-wise, everything came out fast and hot. The trio platter was fun to try, but definitely on the heavier side. I personally wouldn't get the tenders or mozzarella sticks sauced again because it ended up being a bit much, but the flavors were still good and the sliders were solid. I would give ZERO stars if I could. The food was disgusting and pathetic looking when we got it. We ordered it to be delivered, it was OVER EIGHTY DOLLARS to get 2 very small cups of soup, a triple dipper, and an order of 8 boneless wings. The wings were tiny, cold, mostly bread, overcooked and tasted terrible. The triple dipper was also cold and nothing tasted good. On the soup, they put tortilla strips IN the soup instead of on the side which should be an obvious "no-no", especially for to-go orders. It was cold, soggy and way too salty. Hard to go wrong with Chili's. I've loved this chain for awhile and tried out this Archer Road location on a Friday night with three friends. We called ahead for a reservation, which was a good idea, because this night it was PACKED. Chili's always has some kind of meal deal going on and we took advantage of that in early October. Given how busy it was, I don't blame our server for missing one of our drink orders. The food was on point, as usual. Sometimes you don't need the most fancy, fast, or exotic food for a good experience. If you want comfort food that hits the spot every time, then Chili's is the place to go. read more

Better than the reviews let on. Ever since the three for me lunch deals were launched we've been coming here about once a month. One of the best lunch deals in town. You get chips and salsa, drink, side and a burger (pretty darn good too). Lots substitution options (side salad is a $1 up charge), so more than enough for lunch and probably too much. If you go with your significant other, one can get the unlimited chips and the other another side, like a soup of the day. The food is solid and while my favorite burgers are still DJ's Cast Iron, these are still great. If you're bored with the typical lunch spots and you haven't been back to Chili's since the 90's, give it a second chance (for lunch). I can't speak for the dinner service but lunch deserves a look. read more

I mean it's Chili's, it hits sometimes but other times it's so bad, what can I say. I've been to this location a couple times now, and I would say it's. 50-50 chance of getting good food and good service. The most recent time we ordered the smokehouse combo and our food was extremely mid, it was lukewarm when it came out and tasted like it had been sitting on the warmer for 20 minutes already, which is probably accurate because it took like 45 minutes to get our food. The Eddy's strawberry lemonade was delicious though, I would recommend their drinks. People are also insanely loud here, so the environment inside is chaotic but it's Chili's so. read more

We order our drinks and a few minutes later we ordered a couple of burgers ( old timer and smashed burger) pretty simple. We were probably waiting for our food for about 30 minutes and 2 girls came in and order 2 smasher burgers. About 10 minutes after they ordered they brought them 2 burgers out. I suspected they were ours as the girls said they we not theirs. Never once where we asked if they were ours they just took them back and a few minutes later brought them their right order! We asked where our food was because we had been waiting an hour and the girls got theirs but we still hadn't received ours. So out comes the manager and all he said was he was sorry the kitchen messed up. No they messed up we just want our bill for our drinks. He never offered any compensation for us waiting so long! I went to Chili's after a long day at work I was sat at 4:35 and didn't get service until 4:55. I watched 3,4,5 servers help other customers and seen me like looked me in my eyes and didn't come over with any type of customer support/service... Kamille came in at 5 and served me but it's the people before her shift that I'm targeting from the management to the hostess someone could have came over and explained the situation of change of shift, BUT* I watched other customers get served via bartender whom looked at me and STILL DIDNT COME OVER AND GIVE ME SOME KIND OF REASSURANCE ‍. At the end of the day your section or NOT* communicate with your damn customers PERIOD* Kamille came in and did her job , it's the USELESS waitress,bartender,hostess,MANAGER who didn't work the area pre shift change. Food was bland asf but I was too hungry to complain from the wait and it wasn't busy. To sit and watch other people get served who walked in the same time I did is humiliating and embarrassing and also discriminating against me. I'm a frequent customer this is the WORST SERVICE EVER** Next time don't seat a customer if you don't have damn servers ready to take orders. I have only had food from this Chilis twice since I moved to Gainesville seven years ago-- and I like Chili's, I just never had. But I ordered food to go last week and decided to try the new Chicken Crispers. I ended up getting the appetizer trio with southwestern eggrolls, plain chicken crispers, and the honey chipotle chicken crispers. Duuuuuuude. I had to wait quite a while for my order, and I believe that's because I was getting my food very fresh. I took a few bites in the car and those chicken crispers were hot and out of this world fantastic. Like, soooooo good. It was so hard to put them away and drive home. I really wanted to sit there and eat them in the parking lot. That is why I came back four days later and ordered the same thing again, except I didn't get the southwestern eggrolls. I just got another chicken crispers. But the second time, they weren't as fresh, so they weren't as good. They were still good, just not *as good*. Two or three of the chicken crispers were a little bit dry and stringy.. So I would definitely want to be sure I got them fresh out of the fryer next time. But hot damn, that is a really great new item. Four stars just for that. Also, the girl who helped me the first night was so nice and helpful and accommodating. Five stars for her. Chili's is always a classic. If you're with a group of friends, you can never go wrong with picking Chili's. It has a little bit of everything. My favorite part of Chili's are the great deals. They have multiple meal deals that include drinks, appetizers, entrees, and sometimes dessert. Their skillet chocolate chip cookie dessert is one of my favorites! They also have great drink specials. Their 2 for 1 margaritas are my favorite. For $7 you can get 2 margaritas ranging from classic, mango, strawberry, and blackberry flavors. Last time I came, I got the blackberry and strawberry. Although both were good, I preferred the blackberry over strawberry. I'll be back to try the other flavors though. I haven't been since the COVID-19 pandemic started, but I saw they have to-go alcohol that I've been meaning to try! read more

Food and service are both relatively good, but their waitlist system is terrible and very poorly designed. I joined the waitlist for a party of two on the way there because we knew it was going to be busy and we wanted to be as efficient as possible. When we joined the waitlist, the website said it would be a six minute wait. However, when we got there, we were told that it would be around a 20 minute wait, and that it was because multiple parties had gotten there before us which, to my knowledge, defeats the entire purpose of a waitlist. If you're considering eating here and you'd like to be in and out in a relatively timely manner, avoid the online waitlist. Actually, maybe consider avoiding this place altogether if you're in a hurry. read more
