    One raw one, well done

Probably should've went to Logans. This is likely the worst chili's I've eaten at. The ranch burger had one raw patty and one well done. And the flatware was filthy.

This was our second time or so visiting this location. It has a clean, appropriately lit interior (dim lighting). The exterior's lighting is also dim, which isn't the best in my opinion. Customer service was friendly, albeit moderate in speed. The food was prepared hot and fresh, great quality, never cold. I had one error in terms of the beverage I ordered being incorrect (non-alcoholic), but it was remedied immediately with a swift apology. The wait time hasn't been extensive on either of my visits either so that was definitely a plus. I was able to immediately get a booth upon entering. All in all I plan to revisit this location, and recommend you to do the same!

I have always liked Chilis. They seem to always have a special going that helps with the rising cost of going out.

Will never visit this restaurant in Goldsboro again. Manager was rude, and all but pretty much called me liar about past experiences here.

She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. The food was fantastic--the tacos were fresh, crispy, and packed with flavor, the rice and beans were delicious, and the queso was some of the best we've had. The salsa was fresh with just the right amount of kick, and everything came out hot and quickly. Joanna's excellent service really made the meal even better. She was welcoming, checked on us at the perfect times, and made us feel like valued guests. We'll definitely be coming back and will be asking for Joanna again. Highly recommend!

When you walk in, you'll see the main dining area, but as you continue through the restaurant there are additional dining rooms, bar seating, and a really nice outdoor patio in the back. It's a beautiful space with plenty of seating. I ordered the shrimp fajitas, and they were excellent. The shrimp was seasoned well and cooked perfectly, and the sides were just as good. My boys split the sushi and wings platter, and they both really enjoyed it. My daughter had the cheese quesadilla, which she happily finished. I also have to mention the avocado presentation! It wasn't my order, it belonged to my friend, but I had to snap a picture because it was arranged so beautifully. I've never seen sliced avocado presented like that before. It almost looked too pretty to eat! Service was friendly and efficient. Even though the restaurant was fairly busy, we were seated promptly and our food came out quickly. We didn't order drinks this time, but several cocktails passed by our table, and they looked incredible. One thing to keep in mind is that it can get a little noisy as the restaurant fills up, especially in the main dining room. Thankfully, we were seated in one of the back dining areas, which was quieter for most of our meal and made it easy to enjoy conversation. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with delicious food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend Mezcalito, and if we're back in Goldsboro, we'll absolutely be returning!

The food arrived at 7:16pm, so if you're hoping to get in and out of this place quickly that likely won't happen. We ordered tacos and they were all delicious. The Oaxaca was a pleasant surprise that I highly recommend. The chicken Al carbon was tasty. You could taste the smokiness from being grilled. It was a little dry though so we added salsa to it. The picadillo with the seasoned ground beef was good. The steak was spicy but tasty as well rico style. Overall our only complaint was the wait time.

The original Chuy's started in Austin, and after all these years, the flavors are still exactly how I remember them. I had planned to eat at H Mart but arrived too late after checking into my hotel. A summer thunderstorm rolled through, and by the time I pulled into Chuy's, the skies cleared. It was the perfect ending to a long day. The complimentary chips, fresh salsa, and famous creamy jalapeño dip are reason enough to stop by. That dip is every bit as addictive today as it was decades ago. I ordered the Comida Deluxe--a massive plate with cheese enchiladas, crispy chicken flautas, a crispy beef taco, fresh guacamole, queso-covered tostadas, rice, and refried beans. I paired it with an ice-cold Coke, plus extra lime wedges and white onions, because that's how Tex-Mex should be enjoyed. Every bite hit the spot. The portions were enormous, the quality was excellent, and at around $16-18, it's one of the best values around. I knew I'd be taking leftovers home, and they were just as good the next day. I also grabbed a slice of tres leches cake to go. It was huge and worth every penny. It somehow tasted even better after sitting overnight as the three milks soaked deeper into the cake. Absolutely delicious. Our server was warm, attentive, and made packing up leftovers effortless by bringing extra creamy jalapeño dip, a sturdy bag for the chips, and plenty of to-go containers. Service like that makes a difference. You can pay traditionally with your server or by scanning a QR code. I tried the QR option but found it a little cumbersome, so I paid the old-fashioned way with my credit card. Chuy's has stayed true to what made it famous. The recipes are consistent, the portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the food is packed with nostalgia. Whether you're a fellow Texan or just craving outstanding Tex-Mex, this place continues to deliver. Life is too short to eat boring food.

That being said, I could drink the creamy jalapeño sauce by the bucket; that is how much I love it. Other notable mentions are the chicka chicka boom boom enchiladas and the green chile enchiladas. At this specific Chuy's location, they were able to accommodate a large party of us (17 people) without any issues. The ambiance was nice and they were able to chill a cake we had brought in until we sliced it. The only negative part of the experience was that the waitress accidentally spilled cups of water on two guests, which was a bit of a mess, but the other staff members helped clean it up.
