This Chili's store has all your Chili favorites plus the excellent diner experience that Chili's is famous for. We order via Grubhub more often than dine-in, but have a very good experience. Our orders are always correct and hot. My BabyBack Ribs are always tender and juicy, and the chips N'Salsa are awesome. Try the Skillet Queso - you can fill up just on the chips, salsa and queso! We've ordered party trays of ribs for holidays, and they're delicious and a good money deal. The waitstaff are wonderful, and the restaurant is easily accessible if you're disabled. I use a wheelchair and have never had trouble maneuvering through the store. Some restaurants actually try to seat me in the back or near a noisy kitchen because they consider wheelchair users "in the way." Chili's has never done this to me. Staff have been VERY nice about moving chairs or tables around if necessary. Highly recommend! read more

The service was disgusting! The host appeared to be prejudiced and was rude, and when we asked to speak to the manager, she said she's 'not available and wouldn't speak with us'. After being on the list for 50 minutes, they told us to come, yet when we arrived, it was another 15-20 minute wait. THEN, told us to wait outside and not block the door! This was our second time or so visiting this location. It has a clean, appropriately lit interior (dim lighting). The exterior's lighting is also dim, which isn't the best in my opinion. Customer service was friendly, albeit moderate in speed. The food was prepared hot and fresh, great quality, never cold. I had one error in terms of the beverage I ordered being incorrect (non-alcoholic), but it was remedied immediately with a swift apology. The wait time hasn't been extensive on either of my visits either so that was definitely a plus. I was able to immediately get a booth upon entering. All in all I plan to revisit this location, and recommend you to do the same! read more

Will never visit this restaurant in Goldsboro again. Manager was rude, and all but pretty much called me liar about past experiences here.

I have started just getting a burger when I come in. The salads here are terrible. Not sure if it is the person cooking or what. I returned a chicken salad that was so small and lacking anything good in it I thought no way am I paying almost 14.00 for this. Today I was in to get a burger as they aren't bad and actually the patties are pretty large. I ordered a caesar side salad today thinking how can you screw that up? It was so flooded with dressing I couldn't even finish it SO GROSS. I didn't complain as I usually have the same server and I didn't want to seem like a jerk always having an problem. So from here out no more salads and frankly the fajitas here are lack luster compared to other chili's locations. Time to move on to better places in the area I think. read more

My dry rubbed ribs were soooo cold, I have never had meat from a restaurant be that cold it literally felt like it had came out of a fridge. The only thing hot was the outer layer. Inside COLD. Fries were stale and dry, basically just skin. And the sweet tea tasted off. Placed had multiple tables dirty. Overall bad experience. Don't recommend. read more

If you really take time to read reviews to see if it's worth eating somewhere including here PLEASE read. First off this should not be considered "Tex-mex" it is nowhere near close to the name. First off you have to wait for 30 minutes for a table and you wait hoping it's for good food. I ordered the FAJITA TRIPLE or TRIO which includes steak, shrimp, "Mexican rice" which doesn't even come close when it's just brown rice with no seasoning and bland asf. The "steak" looked like beef strips soaked in water for a long time and grilled and obviously chewy and bland. They added cilantro to "add flavor" which I would've just ate cilantro for flavor. and the smal bowl of black beans was just so sorry and bland also, this place doesn't believe in adding flavor to anything. My wife also ordered a pasta which turned out way worse. They have inexperienced waiters that forget what you tell them or just a refill. I won't lie , the "egg roll" was the only thing I enjoyed and the only thing I ate. the ambience is okay, nothing special, but DONT eat here, not worth it read more

Omg!! Chili's in NC is the bomb! Omg! It was a Saturday night I believe and the place was packed. I'm from Washington DC, so our smaller spots like 's is never the Saturday night spot. 05/04/2020 order completed and delivered 8:14 PM. We placed our first order with chilies in Goldsboro North Carolina last night using DoorDash. Our order totaled $133.71. We ordered a mushroom Swiss burger, two bacon ranch chicken quesadillas, one ribeye dinner medium rare, two old-timer cheeseburgers, and a full rack of original ribs and an order of chicken crispers.The order arrived in a timely manner the DoorDash driver was very nice. But we were really disappointed in the quality of food. The ribeye looked as if it was cooked on a flat top Grill and was so tough you could not chew it, it was also overcooked, it was inedible and went to the trash. The original ribs came very under sauced and were dry also inedible also to the trash. The mushroom Swiss burger had a great taste. But every item that we ordered arrived to us really cold. We are really disappointed in our first order from Chili's The quality of the food was horrible it tasted like a chain restaurant that everything was freezer burned. We were really hoping that our order from Chili's would be wonderful. Unless some kind of reparations are made to correct this issue I'm afraid that will be our last time ordering from Chili's ever again. I remember when chilies was phenomenal and this has really been a terrible situation especially in these times. When you have to reheat EVERYTHING what is the point? The food arrived in a regular takeout plastic bag. Nothing with any insulation value to keep food at temp. Please fix this Chili's. I contacted the Customer Engagement Team via Contact US on the website and spoke with someone directly over the telephone. Slow service, fried food tasted like oil was from last year, out of most draft beer, and don't try to customize your order because they write nothing down, you won't get it. We have came to eat here forever and love it here but had the worse waitress I have ever experienced in my life. I usually don't bother to write reviews for chain restaurants, but I consider this to be a public service announcement: CHILI'S BABY BACK RIBS DON'T TASTE GOOD There, I said it. One morning my wife and I were inanely singing that old "Chili's baby back ribs" song at one another for no good reason, and it occurred to me that I have never had their baby back ribs. So, in Goldsboro for a business trip, I noticed that I was across the street from a Chili's, and then the stupid song started playing on repeat in brain. (I want my baby back baby back baby back, Chili's baby back ribs, Chili's baby back ribs, with barbecue sauce) I was at a juncture, either endure the psychic trauma of this song playing on repeat in my head, or just go eat at the damn placed and put an end to it. I opted to finally try the baby back ribs, once and for all. The service at Chili's was fine in my opinion. The bartender was polite and smiled and kept my water refilled, and really that's all I needed from her. The baby back ribs were expensive. 1/2 a rack was like $12. That's too much money for the paltry amount of food you get, especially when you take into account that they don't taste good. There was one interesting thing about this place. There's a tablet on every table. You can do a variety of things with this tablet: -Order more booze -Pay it a dollar to play angry birds and plants vs. zombies while you eat dinner -Read USA today for free -Ignore your family I'm not sure how I feel about the tablet on the table, but seeing how I was by myself there for business reasons (and thus couldn't drink), it was nice to have something to read while I waited for my food. The staff here are awful. I visited this location one time in June of 2014 and will never be back. Our waitress gave us an incorrect appetizer and after waiting for an hour admitted that she forgot to put in our order. As if all of this wasn't bad enough, she also insulted an elderly customer. We were "lucky" enough to sit in a booth where the trainer was working with new employees. I overheard the trainer talk about how awful it was to work there and how Goldsboro was a miserable area. Been here a few times by myself and with my wife. Every time has been great! Always clean, easy to get a seat. LOTS of food on the menu and great drink selection. I've had good bartenders who recommend the perfect drink for me. Menu's are a little hard to read though. And waitresses are sometimes quiet and not really talkative which is fine. They use to be a good resteraunt. But they are rude..always a wait when NO one is in the resteraunt...due to no servers showing up. The manager is sloppy and could care less. The bar tender seems to be the only one actually working. They take 10 minutes to greet you to tell you it's going to be a 45 min wait. Would give them no stars if I could. Avoid this place by any means necessary! There's a lot to unpack here so please excuse me if this review is too lengthy. First, when we arrived and requested a booster seat, we were given one that had food stains all over it. We should've known better than to stay at this point. Next we ordered drinks... we two of the same margaritas. One came full and the other one was only half full. when asked why the answer they was the bartender probably didn't make enough for 2 glasses. Seriously? Am I supposed to be ok with paying full price for half of a drink? We ordered our food instead of leaving. We ordered 2 club sandwiches and a burger. The club sandwiches looked like prison food. Not at all what was advertised on the menu. There was one thin slice of turkey on plain, untoasted soggy wheat bread with 11 (yes, we counted) cold french fries strewn about next to it. It was pitiful. The burger was cooked super-duper well done to the point that it was burnt, flat, and had not of bit of juice in it. I bit into it and it crunched like a potato chip. After we sent the food back, a person came over, I assumed she was the manager, i explained to her my complaints and she turned and walked away without any comment or offering to resolve the issue. I paid for the cardboard burger, my nieces pizza, and our drinks and still left the waitress a tip. At least my niece enjoyed her pizza from the kids menu. So disgusting would never go back, the chips were literally dripping in grease, the "brown" queso tasted and looked like overly salted puréed chili, couldn't taste any cheese, Caribbean salad supposed to have grilled chicken which wasn't grilled, lettuce wilted and the whole thing tasteless, unfortunately I had takeout and made myself drive 25 minutes each way to get my money back! Went about a week ago with my boyfriend. The service was terrible! After about 10 min of waiting had to get up and ask the host if we could get some drinks since no one one had even acknowledged us. Watched her then go to the bartender and have small words with each other while the bartender stared and made faces at us. The hostess then came to ask what drinks we wanted didn't even bring all we ordered. Say and waited until a random server walked by and grab him to order our food and other beer that was never brought to us. He never brings us our appetizer nor does our server ever actually show up. We did have one other bartender ask if we had been helped after we had finally gotten some service. read more

We went there last night, very hesitantly after reading some of the bad reviews... But considering that I'm a huge fan of Chili's in general I thought I would give it a chance because that's what I really wanted... and I am so glad we did! We eat out a lot! A lot - so to say this was the best service we've ever had is actually saying something for us. Our waitress, Bree, was exceptional. We didn't have to ask for one thing, she anticipated everything. Our order came out perfect... which says a lot because I make a lot of changes to my meal. The food was HOT - fresh AND delicious. Don't miss out on visiting this restaurant over a few bad reviews.
