The food just wasn't that good. However, the bartender whom took my order was friendly and polite. They just need to put more emphasis on the actual quality of their food. Waited 30-45 minutes for our food. We ordered the 2 for 20. We both got chicken fajitas. They were terrible. Taste like marinated in water. We were out of water and chips and salsa forever. The queso tasted like coffee. Only positive was the salsa was good. Waitress very slow. Business was not crowded. The manager did come over and take off our fajitas. I had the 6oz sirloin with avocado tonight. Second time I've ever had it and the flavor is good the steak quality is weak which is expected for a Chili's since they arnt known for steak. However, I sat at the bar with my friend and my service was terrible. Jackie was my bartender and she barely said hello to me. After getting my drink and later my food she never came back to ask how I was doing or if I needed another drink. I even picked up the menu several times with her looking and not once did she ask if I wanted to order something else which I of course did! I just decided to pack my bags and leave the bar early because apparently I wasn't being acknowledged. First off the table was dirty and what passes for dinner plates now, a silly metal tray with wax paper, was smeared with leftover dried barbeque sauce. Guacamole Burger was a greasy mess causing upset stomach that evening. The Bacon Avocado Grilled Chicken Sandwich, chicken was dry and tasteless. Avoid this place and drive into Little Rock. Ordered pasta and chicken, I rarely taste bad chicken from chilis and it straight up tasted like it wasn't fresh at all. Bland, no seasoning and pasta was seasoned okay but was dry and very sticky. You know when it's cooked and not stirred often like it was left sitting for awhile taste/look. My husband loved his meal and we enjoyed the appetizer of the loaded chicken wings. A+ to the cooks on that one. We unfortunately stiffed our waitress.... Sorry but horrible service on her end. Usually when someone complains about an alcoholic drink we offer to replace it, not charge them for it and come up with an excuse like 'maybe some salt fell into the side' no. Just no. My husband can usually down his drinks but that was horrible. And had more than just a bit of salt. It was on the bottom of his cup and it was about a good teaspoon size. The waiter suggested a new drink without the salt but didn't mention anything about nulling the last one. The best part is the very first comment she made to me when I was about to order my drink and my husband was trying to help me find where it was at in the menu. She says "looks like someone's trying to get you inebriated tonight." Like who the heck says that to a married couple who's just looking to relax. Waitress had mannerisms like a grown woman who's trying to act like a high schooler. She even used the phrase "like omg" in a high cheerleader like way. No offense but we're not high schoolers and you put a sour taste on my appetite. She had asked me for my card and I fibbed about not having it as I didn't want a drink anymore after what she had stated towards me about my husband. That isn't how you are supposed to start a conversation be it a joke or whatever. We shouldn't also have to ask for refills and the main dish shouldn't come two minutes after we seriously got our appetizers. I'm just glad my husbands a quick eater. We could have spent another $20-30 at this restaurant. I wanted deserts and he would have gotten another drink. Professionalism and manners go a long way, especially when we've tipped waiters at chilis upwards of $20 before because it's one of our favorite restaurants. It's unfortunate that you lost a few potential regulars today, but there are plenty of other chili restaurants out there, just not this one. read more

I've been to many other Chili's in the area, and this is the only Chili's in the central Arkansas area that I will keep going to. I have never found anything even remotely bad there. They have alcohol, the football games on, amazing food, awesome service, and the best ambience in a restaurant I've seen in awhile. So today me and my co-workers all head to Chili's after a long day of fighting the war. We arrive their and our greeted to happy hellos and warm welcomes but couldn't possibly make up for the events to follow. We begin to order our beverages and my co worker asks what beers they offer? To which our waitress says "Beer". Hah, got us. She said she was new and had to go look it up and came back with what they had. 2 of us proceed to order alcoholic beverages(really one was a 7 dollar caparison) so naturally she asks for our I.D's. Being military we provide our CAC's(Military I.D.) to which she throughly examines then leaves with our orders. Minutes later she returns with apparent "new" knowledge of how to actually check I.D.'s and ask again for them. But at this point all faith was already gone so we provide our Drivers License as alternate proof of age at which point satisfies her. She returned with drinks and took our order. I order a burger that comes with pepper jack cheese and ask for cheddar cheese instead. She reads back cheddar cheese and takes all of our orders. 15 minutes pass and our food comes out. I get mine first and clearly with no cheddar cheese. I wait for everyone else to get theirs then I address that I requested cheddar on my burger. She apologizes and informs me she checked before she brought it out she thought it was correct. Cheddar cheese is orange, Pepper jack is white in case you were curious. Regardless she says she will fix it! She didn't take the burger so we jokingly say "That'd be hilarious if she brought out just a slice of cheese." In the moment hilarious, the moment she does as we joked about not as funny. I get brought out the most plastic looking craft cheese there is. I thank her regardless. Everyone chows down then it's time for checks. Again we joke "That'd be hilarious if she charged for extra cheese." And to my surprise there it is. A charger for extra cheese. At this point I couldn't even fathom the service we had and was beyond done. Thanks Chili's for the world class service. read more

Our waitress was Jessica. We went without drinks for 5 minutes or more several times. She got our order wrong twice. And blamed it on us once. The other order was to go. So we didn't know it was wrong until we got home. She was a good waitress but had way to many tables. So we still tipped her good. I ordered the steak fajitas. They were terrible. The lady behind me ordered the same and said they were terrible too. The manager was rude. When we called about the to go order being wrong. He didn't really seem sorry and said he would just take it off our ticket. Since we paid with a card. It sucks I didn't get to eat there or when I got home. I won't eat things that have things on there I don't like. I ordered a triple dipper to go with 2 orders of big mouth bites with no onions and all ranches instead of blue cheese. I got no ranches. And had more onions then I did bacon on my burgers. My kids food wasn't cooked all of the way. It was pepperoni pizza. Awful experience read more

Chili's has gotten much better. It went through a rough period and at times the food isn't prepped well and the last visit the food was not really hot. It was more warm like it had been under a heating lamp? However, understaffing may be the reason for that. With limited options in Jacksonville it's a good place to go for a bite and a drink close to home. read more

My first experience with this location was less than stellar. Our server was nowhere to be found for most of the evening. It took nearly 40 minutes for our food to arrive. When it did arrive, my plate had soggy brown lettuce on it. My best guess is that it had been frozen. We didn't see our server for another 10 minutes after our food arrived. When I mentioned the nasty lettuce, she brushed it off and asked if I wanted more lettuce. My wife's glass had been empty for about 30 minutes at that point. No more online ordering, wtf!? Half the reason I choose a place- convenience. Not convenient to have to call in an order as I'm leaving work. Last time we ate there it was dinner, wanted the unlimited soup & salad that comes with chips & salsa. Pointed to the lunch menu, didn't see where it was printed they offered the same thing for a higher price at dinner only, I've had it before at dinner. flavors were good we had ordered fajitas and fried shrimp with the fried onion and jalapenos. the shrimp tasted good and were not overcooked its just the batter fried around it was soggy and not staying on, also the sweet tea tasted funny like the bad water in the town. aka maybe they should look into a filtration system read more

We ate at this Chile's on 6 -5 15 for lunch on the way to the airport. The almost empty parking lot should have told us something, but we went in anyway. The hostess took her time coming to the door to seat us, but she was friendly. Our table was very uneven and we asked if someone could fix it. We were told the manager would come fix it, but he NEVER stopped by our table. I had to get on my knees to fix it with sugar packets. Returning from the restroom, I could see into the kitchen, which was a mess. There was food all over the floor and things were thrown everywhere. The floor was also very wet, where the staff could easily have fallen and hurt themselves . One of the drinks was very watered down and not good at all. The food was good. We finally had to ask for our ticket and then waited for a good 15 mins. to receive it. Our waitress only had 3 tables with our table being one of those 3 tables. The waitress didn't check on us very often either. The entire place was very slow inside. My bill was 14.95 and she was given a 20.00 bill. She brought change of a $ 5 bill and .05. The service was not good enough for a tip of 5.00. She should have brought 5 ones for tipping. I only had a dollar bill and wanted the ones from the 20.00 to help with tipping. She came and went so quickly with the change, so I just left her the $ 1.00 I had. I didn't like giving a low tip, but I shouldn't have to wait again to get change from the 5.00. I have been to many Chili's and this was the most unclean and slowest wait staff I have ever been to. I am sure the health dept. wouldn't be happy about the kitchen. I know there was road work being done in front of it, but that just means you work harder for the people who took the time to go around the road work to visit. read more
