Dugan's Pub quickly became one of our favorite stops in downtown Little Rock. We were looking for a…read moreplace with good food and a relaxed atmosphere, and it delivered on both. The first thing that caught my attention was the authentic Irish pub feel. The dark wood, stained-glass accents, cozy fireplace, and traditional décor create a welcoming space that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We happened to visit while Team USA was playing in the FIFA World Cup, and the pub was packed with fans cheering throughout the match. The energy in the room made the experience even more memorable. I ordered the hand-battered chicken tenders and fries, and they were excellent--crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. My brother ordered the fish and chips and kept saying they reminded him of the fish and chips he had while traveling in Ireland. We also shared an order of bangers and mash, which was rich, hearty, and exactly what you'd expect from a classic Irish pub. Whether you're stopping in to watch a match, enjoy a meal, or simply experience one of Little Rock's most inviting pubs, Dugan's Pub is well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Little Rock.

While the menu at this Irish Pub looks appetizing, the Irish Stew was underwhelming. This is definitely a place to come and have some drinks (or judging by most of the patrons we saw that night we stopped in, LOTS of drinks). The place also had a much more rustic feel than most Irish pubs, so now you know.

It looked good so I settled for that. I asked if I could get it without tomato and if I could swap the sauce for the one that came on the chicken sandwich. The server said no to the sauce swap while at the table. I ask for the original sauce to be on the side. Cool no problem. Then he comes back and says the cook said it's too many modifications! I should be able to undress my burger down to meat and cheese without the cook throwing a fit! What if I was allergic? Would there still be pushback about removing tomatoes. And sauce. The burger was served with sauce on the side and no tomatoes. I enjoyed the burger (North Bar Burger). My nephew enjoyed his Crazy Queso Burger. I didn't like the sauce as I thought it was too mustard forward. I ordered an old fashioned that was pretty good as well. Maswell was our server. Service was fine but I wished he'd pointed out the specials when we sat down. NB burger happened to be the special of the day. Parking was easy. There's a covered patio and full bar. Id visit again (we enjoyed our food and drinks) next time I'm in the area but the cooks hissy fit pissed me off. 3.5 stars because of it.

I ordered the dirty bird chicken wings, and a bacon cheeseburger with fries. We had the first food that came out. Wings were cold and did not have much sauce on them. Ordered more sauce cost me a dollar for a little cup. We asked about the wings and they said they are smoked now so I'm guessing they sit back there under a heat lamp. Probably the reason they were very dry and I had to order more sauce. I was hoping that when I dipped it in the ranch it would help but none of the ranch stuck on my wing. I've seen water that was thicker. Was looking forward to the old bacon cheeseburger, the Pump used to serve. This cheeseburger is nothing like the old one. The size of the patty is what you get at a little league baseball game. It was also overcook and dry and cold. Wondering if that was under a heat lamp also. They do not have Bud Light or Coors light! PBR's are five dollars! Pitcher of beer is $25! No beer buckets! Looks like a dive bar doesn't taste or drink like one!!!! So I spent $28 and tipped 20%. So I ended up spending just under $35. I can go to the Faded Rose or Brave New for that amount.
