My wife and I were in Cabot running errands today and decided to get a late lunch at Deer Creek. We've been here before and always have had a good experience and today was good too. We were cordially greeted as we entered and seated immediately. The lunch rush was over, so the restaurant wasn't busy but other times, they can be very busy. The restaurant is decorated nicely in a rustic sports bar theme with TVs playing various sports events, though the TVs were stuck on buffering today for some reason. Emily W. was our server, and she was very friendly and attentive and took care of all our dining needs. My wife had the Blackened Mahi Mahi with steamed broccoli, fried okra and garlic bread. She received a good portion of fish that was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The broccoli was fresh and delicious and had a garlic butter sauce, and the fried okra was super good with a crispy crust and seasoned well. I ordered the lunch Smash Burger with fries. This was a very well prepared smash burger, pressed thin with a good crust developed. It comes on a toasted bun with pickles, sautéed onions, American cheese and their special smash sauce. I ordered the candied jalapeños as well for an upcharge of $1. The jalapeños made the burger amazing! The fries appeared handcut and prepared well with good seasoning. They also have a good selection of beer and other alcoholic beverages, but a beer is a must with a smash burger. I had an excellent dark ale on draft with my burger. Overall, another excellent experience. read more

Fire and Stone made a big mistake by taking spaghetti pie from the menu. We won't be going near as often. Big disappointment!

The staff is absolutely amazing and I have never had an issue with them. The food is also fantastic and the overall environment is so welcoming. Everything has always been very clean and well kept and wait times are never bad. read more

I went to this restaurant two different times while in the area. Both times I had great experiences. The service from the servers was great, and my food tasted amazing. The first time visit I went with their lunch Supreme quesadilla. It was loaded with meat and topped with cheese and jalapeños. The next time we ordered fried mushrooms as our appetizer, and then I went with the margarita pizza. The fried mushrooms were hot and fresh. My margarita pizza had a great amount of topping. We wanted to try this place again to see if anything has changed. Well we got there at 5pm seated in a booth. Our waitress introduced herself and left. Then came back five minutes later. Took out drink order then left. Came back five minutes later to drop off napkins. Came back five minutes later to drop off drinks. Let me see four trips to the table and 15 minutes later we got our drinks. I told the waitress we are ready to order. Before she could leave yet again. She said well fine I will take your order. Now this place was not busy at ALL. There was at least three or four servers standing around the entire time we were there. I had the shrimp tacos and wife had a chicken quesadilla. I ordered take out for my family so this review doesn't speak to the inside of the restaurant. The food was hot and ready on time for the pick up. I called when I arrived to the dedicated pick up parking spot and they brought the food out to me promptly making for a good customer experience. The portion size was moderate to large but the food is a bit salty. That said, the chicken parmesan was very tasty and my father really enjoyed it. The pricing is fair. Since we've moved to Cabot, this has been our go-to place. We LIVE for the razorback rolls. Warning though, these are so delicious and filling that most times, it's all that I eat! First time at Deer Creek and first week in Arkansas. Great find! We had eaten out everyday and this was one of the best places! We started with the fried pickles which were the best I tasted of the three places I had tried that week. I had the Mahi Mahi entree and my brother the ribeye. All good and well made. Good ambiance. We had no idea there would be live music (a Wednesday night), which was a treat. I know my brother will be returning and so will I when I go visit. Plenty of parking, clean bathrooms. Server was new but handled our table well and went back to clarify any questions we had. All employees were great. read more

Nickel and Dimed First off, couldn't hear myself think or have a conversation because of the volume level of the speakers with loud music. We asked them to turn it down some and they didn't. Charged for gravy on my mashed potatoes with my chicken fried steak. My other half did not want gravy on his hamburger steak and they had the nerve to charge him for the gravy on his mashed potatoes. Second time we've tried it. Food great both times. Service slow both times. This time with a party of 5, they popped a table up by the waitress station. Had our chairs bumped every time a waitress came through and listened to them gripe about the table that their staff positioned being too close to the station. First time ordering take out. Delicious. They forgot the bread that comes with the meal, I forgot too until I got home. I ordered an extra side but they must've charged me for the both sides even though menu says it comes with one side. Big price for one person. $17.28. The picture of the menu I got from their FB page. Maybe they have a different menu and pricing since July. It's on me, I didn't check the price on receipt against the menu until I got home and didn't see the breakdown of prices on the receipt I signed if they were there. My copy only shows the total. Great variety on their menu. If you haven't had their "Razorback Rolls", it is a must. Sweet pork stuffed in a stand up roll. Then the dipping sauce. Wow. Never disappointed in anything I've ordered. Tried this restaurant a few times, as it's down the street from where I currently live in Cabot Arkansas. The first time I went, the atmosphere was very typical to what I would consider a local pub. The service was pleasant as all of the three times I've been there, waitresses were attentive and sweet. The food came out and a decent amount of time even when it was busy. The first time I ordered a garden salad, and the lettuce was water down to the point where it tasted old. Second time we ordered a shared pizza, and it was nothing out of the ordinary but twice the amount of what I think a margarita pizza should cost. The last time we visited, ordered jumbo wings, and before ordering, asked about the size due to the cost. They came out and it was nothing that I would consider as a jumbo wing. It was a standard size and the wing was not even with a sauce. It had a dry rub, which was not indicated on the menu. To top it off my four-year-old had a kids size pizza and my 13-year-old order the 10 inch cheese pizza when they brought out both pizzas, again, a kids order pizza and my son's 10 inch pizza. They were the complete same size with the kids pizza being half of the cost of my sons pizza. Once a waitress saw the fact that they were the same size she did change the cost at the time of receiving the bill.
