I've eaten at this chili's in the past and the waitresses are nothing but lovely, however you do NOT want to be put on the phone with the manager. I'm not sure who was on duty tonight but this man did not know how to deal with fast nights. My friend tried to schedule an interview with them and call to change the times. Right after she got hung up on the first time she was put on the phone with the manager who rudely said "honey we're busy right now I can't talk to you, your gonna have to call back tomorrow" which my first thought is why did he have to call her honey and say this in such a quick rude aggressive way then to just hang up on her??? I don't believe anyone should be talked down to like they're a Child on the other end of the line. This was very displeasing, I'm not sure but I think they need someone who can deal with people asking a simple question or at least politely say they can't talk at the moment. After this small interaction I would have rather them not answered the phone and she no longer has interest and does not recommend anyone applying. I went to this newly opened location for lunch on September 3, 2019, with my 86-year old mother. I (normally) love Chili's...great food, great service are the norm at one of these restaurants however, this Chili's was very, very disappointing. We were shown to a table that had not been wiped down very well. I asked the host if he could find me a towel to clean the table...he came back and halfway cleaned the table. I then asked our server if she could please bring us a couple of extra napkins to dry the now sloppily cleaned wet table. She brought us one single-ply napkin and placed it on the table for me to dry it myself. Um...okay...I can handle that. For lunch, I ordered the Southwestern Eggrolls and my mother ordered the Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadilla with a cup of loaded potato soup. My mother's soup arrived nice & hot...she commented on how good it was (hence, the 1-star rating)...her quesadilla was "okay." My eggrolls were over-cooked and lukewarm. Before we even tasted our food, the server asked us if we were paying cash or credit card. I told her we weren't sure yet and would decide AFTER we finished our meal. Bottom line...this franchise location needs to spend a lot more time training the staff on proper etiquette, service techniques and food quality. Ordered take out and, all things considered, it was fairly prompt and still warm when it got here. The chili, which was all the rage on their menu, was extremely disappointing and honestly inedible. It was ground beef and and exorbitant amount of chili powder. Doesn't appear they use anything else while cooking it. It was very dry and the flavor of chili powder was overpowering. I order to go from their website, which directed to me to door dash, when my order arrived delivery advised they didnt receive an itemized list because I order through Chilis website, well almost half my order was missing, I have called 3 times and have been told a manager will call and I have more received a call from anyone. My husband and I decided to go Chili's for lunch! We were so excited. It was expected to have a 20-30 minute wait. No problem. We just went to the bar to get a drink. Got to the bar, waited 15 minutes and 2 bartenders didn't acknowledge us...not even with a napkin. The bar was dirty. Finally, after 21 minutes, one of the bartenders decided to come take our order. I ordered first with pineapple frozen margarita which was 2 for 1. My husband ordered Big Eddy Eddy Texas Lemonade. We had to repeat our order 6 times. No joke! By then, our table was ready. We just said forget it and walked away to get our table. Then, our server Nathan saved the day! We got our drinks finally with no problem Told Nathan bartenders were incompetent and he agreed. He took our order and we got our food quickly which was impressive since they were extremely busy. Burgers we ordered were huge. The actual burger was tasty. But, I asked my for my Boss burger well well done and it was still pink inside. My husband ordered the brisket burger in which the brisket was grisly and couldn't eat it that part. We ordered the spinach queso that didn't look like the photo...not even close. But, we were hungry. Overall, the experience we gave a -0 stars. Nathan gave it a 1 star with his amazing service. After we got home, we both were sick to our stomach and throwing up. We will not be returning! read more

I'm so upset that I didn't get the girls name who brought my order out to the curbside pick up tonight. She initially came out & told me that they had unfortunately run out of pasta which is what I'd ordered. I was seriously on the verge of tears because I wanted this Cajun Chicken Pasta so badly. But I sucked it up and told her I'd take something else instead, meanwhile she was so kind & apologized profusely for the situation. So she goes inside, then comes back out & says she has a surprise for me & SHE GOT ME MY PASTA!!!!! She said they'd found some and she told them to make it for me and I could have cried I was so excited! She was so kind and patient while I looked for something else to eat and didn't make me feel crazy for being on the verge of tears over the pasta. I probably should have read reviews before stopping here on our road trip but since it wasn't busy I figured it wouldn't be so bad. We had a 4 adults and 5 kids in our party. It took 15 mins for a waitress to come take our drink order then another 10 mins to get drinks which were half wrong. We asked for the correct drinks and for sugar for the tea. By the time the waitress brought the sugar the tea was gone and the waitress didn't even refill it. My husband asked for a refill and he was the only one to get a refill. Our kids were getting restless after waiting for an hour for our order but the last straw for us was a table getting their appetizers after being seated a few mins while we were still waiting an hour later and no drink refills. We asked to speak to the manager who informed us the waitress just put the order in. We said we would just leave without the food and go somewhere else. The waitress asked if we wanted dessert because it would be cheaper. I was appalled that she thought we were paying for food we never received. We told her to just bring the bill for the kids food that she had brought out and we would be on our way. The manager then came back and said our food was ready if we still wanted it. We said sure since it was done all of a sudden. Well half of the order was still wrong. We just said bring the check and we would be on our way. The manager apologized and said he would fix the food and we wouldn't have to pay so that we wouldn't have a bad experience. What a joke waiting an hour for appetizers was a bad experience in itself much less everything that did eventually come out was wrong. Not sure if the waiter was new or just didn't know what she was doing but the least she could have done was fill our drinks regularly since we waited sooooo long. We expect a wait with the staffing issues due to the virus but it's unacceptable to not even get drink refills!!!! We ended up taking what little food that was brought out and eating it in the car on the way home and it was decent so I gave two stars. The thing that doesn't make sense is the manager throwing his employee under the bus when he is the one who set the tables together and walked past our table several times and never asked if there was anything he could do like fill a drink or check our food until we asked to speak to a manager. If you see your employee struggling you should help not tell customers she just put your order in. read more

Horrible experience ordering online. Manager Megan was incredibly rude and said we had to call corporate to get our money refunded. So now during a busy work day that we just wanted to grab some lunch. We have no lunch. We are out $40. Will never visit a Chilli's again. In any town. Especially not Lake City, FL read more
