I had a chicken asada quesadilla made with two burrito-sized tortillas (eight big pieces) and ample amounts of chicken and cheese, with a good handful of green onion pieces and tomato bits on top and sour cream. Came here to eat with my car club and the food was great. Nothing is super complicated here but the prices are chefs kiss. I don't think anyone in my group had a tab over $20. The waitress was super nice and did well with handling our party of 7. Food came out very quickly and the orders were all correct and hot. We sat outside and they had fans blowing while we enjoyed the breeze. The portion sizes are great and it wasn't very busy which gave our group a more intimate vibe. Great little area out back where I could bring my puppy. Everything was delicious! I had the shrimp tacos and had enough left over for dinner! The beans & rice were nice. Lots of shrimp and fresh cilantro. Pretty fresh orchids were served with their cocktails. The wait person was prompt and attentive. Went 2 times in a week visiting in Live Oak. First time meal took a while and we were there on a Thursday at 5. Fish tacos were fishy but the guacamole chips and margaritas were great. 2 others ordered a thin steak dish and they said very dry. My family and I went in for the first time today for lunch! I got the fajita bowl, my husband got the taco and quesadilla plate, and my daughter got a kids burrito plate! All the portions were very generous, including the kids plate, which looked like an adult serving. Everybody enjoyed their food, it was delicious. The service was excellent. Avoid unless you want to get ill. The restaurant has a good outdoor area, but the inside leaves a lot to be desired. The multiple mini split systems are aimed directly at the tables, so the food gets cold fast. The service was slow and incompetent. The food was slow in coming to the table. They brought my husband something he didn't order. The changes we requested for our meals were ignored (we asked for no rice). The salsa was horrible, unless you love celery. My dinner was good, except for the ribeye which was flavorless, but then I spent the night vomiting and the next day with diarrhea from food poisoning. We've eaten here since we moved from Jacksonville a year ago. Service has always been friendly, albeit slow and disorganized sometimes. Food has been good. Mexican chicken is always delicious. My husband gets the trio burrito or something, and always enjoys it. Tonight we tried something new and I ordered the Texas ribeye fajitas, cooked medium. Seconds after it was brought out, I cut into it and it was pretty well done. I pressed the back of my fork into the middle and all around the steak to check the spring, and it was pretty firm, indicating well done. I used to work at a steakhouse - it was well done. Anyway, I told the waitress it was overdone and she came back from the kitchen saying that it wasn't overdone, it was in fact medium because "there is pink in it," and she directed me to check the middle. I took pictures all throughout the steak and there was hardly an indicator of pink. Mayyybbbe a bit here and there. Either way, not medium. Never have we had the kitchen and/or waitress argue with us to tell us our food wasn't how we described... Also, no offer to comp the bill or rectify the situation at all, after restating that the steak was in fact, still well done all the way through. This was astounding service and we will definitely reconsider giving our hard-earned money to this greedy establishment again. read more

First and last visit. Had to search for a waitress to be seated. Wait staff knows nothing about ingredients in the food. Ordered a Corona rita, it came with a large bottle that was tipping over. I've been here twice & decided to share. 1st off the dinner & lunch menu are COMPLETELY different! The lunch menu is half a page of very limited options. The dinner menus is a legit proper menu & yummy. My first experience was going in when it was a bit busy (bad idea) the floor is concrete so everything echos. It is SO loud!!! We also didn't get chips & salsa because the cook was on break or something & they ran out of salsa. I ordered authentic tacos (off dinner menu) the food was amazing! So that made up for a bad first impression. The second time I visited was for lunch. I wanted what I had last time but they wouldn't let me order off what I thought was THE menu. They gave me a half-assed page stuck in a sheet protector. I got crunchy tacos (they only had 2 options for meat where, at lunch you have like 7 options). Anyway, the tacos were like Taco Bell quality. It was quieter & we did get salsa straight up. But I was upset that they couldn't make lunch & dinner menu a little similar. I guess it's all about timing. I really love the food from the dinner menu, but the dinner atmosphere is super loud. Will probably try this place to-go from now on. Drove by this place many times and finally had a time to check it out. As soon as i walked in, hostess/server greeted us and sat us down. They have very generic tables with plastic chairs. Server asked if we wanted to start with queso dip or guacamole. I ordered guacamole . U can tell they don't make it fresh to order. Perhaps made in the morning in a big batch. It was not bad. But for the price it should definitely be made fresh to order. We also got complimentary chips and salsa. Delicious and spicy))) ordered California Trio Steak Burrito.
