This is a horrible place to eat at!!! A couple coworkers and I came here today for lunch. We got here at 12:05 and was escorted to our table by a rude Hispanic woman that was suppose to be the greeter. She never said a word to us and threw our menus on the table and walked away!! We never had a waitress come to the table. We had to get up and go find someone to serve us. We waiting 36 mins for drink, and almost an hour for our food. We asked for a manager to Express our dislike with the service. The manager Judy Islas who came to our table. As we were letting Judy know about our service the rude greeter raised her arms in the air as if to say "what's up"..she then proceeded to walk to the table near the manager and say "I didnt even speak to them" THATS THE DAMN PROBLEM YOUR A GREETER AND NOT GREETING CUSTOMERS, the manager claim she didnt hear the greeter say that, but the customers at the next table even heard the greeter say that. The manager proceeds to tell us she just had to speak to this greeter for 15mins this morning. At this point I feel like they are discriminating against us because of our color. All the other Hispanics that came in didnt get the same rude service from this greeter like we did. So next up is to contact COPORATE about this manager who doesn't seem to care about how customers are treated and about this rude ass greeter! read more

The service was god awful. My mother's steak (on top of being cold) was not cooked right. Took over ten minutes just to receive two UNDRESSED salads after ordering. This place is a joke. Very poor management and customer service. Went in today and even know the restaurant was almost empty it took over an hour from time of order to get our food. We had to ask where the food was and when it came out it was lukewarm and seemed to have been sitting under the heat lamp for awhile. It took forever to get drinks and when they finally brought the drinks they had forgot the kids drinks and took atleast 15 minutes for them to bring them out. I frequent chili's and the food is just okay but the ambiance is usually pretty good all and all I'm a traveling contractor so it's the closest thing to a home cooked meal on the road. However this place apparently has some personnel issues going on and I just don't feel that it's right to be bombarded with "drama" about people whom I don't even know presented with crappy service because team moral is clearly very low. I sat for nearly 25 minutes listening to this person talk about how she's pissed that she has to work a long shift because someone else can't stay, and management is a joke they don't know how to schedule they need to be replaced and how she's fed up with the job she's tired of having to bust her ass even more to carry the slack etc etc etc. long story short I'm sitting here thinking she's been standing here so long how could she possibly be tending to the other guest in a timely manner? I'm also thinking is this really a place that I want to dine in because if the team members feel this way they may not handle the food with care? how does the kitchen look? This is a review on the bar. The other night we were there and asked about the happy hour. We were told that the main sports game would be on the center TV with sound. So came back another day to watch the Giants playoff game. It was on the center TV, but no sound at all. I asked the server about it and she said she would see what she can do, but never came back to tell us. I only came here to watch the playoff game. Drink specials were reasonable, free chips & salsa, and the buffalo wings were very good. If only they had sound I would have stayed longer and ordered more. I am not sure why there are so many horrible reviews. I have been here probably a hundred times and have had great service 95 percent of the time. On the rare occasion our meal was messed up, they have more than accommodated for us. We are pretty picky eaters and they are always very accommodating to that. read more

A trip to chilis doesnt give great expectations, and this last trip didnt live up to mediocre expectations. A steak that is sent back twice because its not medium, a beef enchilada with a sauce that tastes like bbq sauce? Service thats slow with inaccurate orders seem to be the norm. And why are there no bus people? Apparently each server clears the plates, this is poor management an policy. The prices are high, 3 tacos for $12? There are much better places to go. Their attempt at tex-mex is lacking. Even the guac was bland, and thats not a complicated recipe. Chain restaurant going through the motions, with a poor plan of execution. Skip it. WHAT Was I THINKING?? Again, I visited Chilis, I like the ribs and thought I'd try again. BAD IDEA! Should've read my last review! Once again The service was absolutely HORRENDOUS. we waited an hour and 30 minutes and finally just left after only receiving drinks and chips and salsa. We also ordered to guac, which the server set on the table next to us realized her mistake, pick it up and brought it to our table which DISGUSTED us. Can you imagine your food on somebody else's table and then somebody picking it up and bringing it to you? That shows no training whatsoever and we know it starts at the top! This Chilis is OK, and that's pretty much it. The food took forever to come out, the bar had plates of food that had already been eaten, sitting around for the full hour I was here. It wasn't that crowded but for some reason no one ever attended to them. The food is typical Tex-Mex, not bad tho, I love the sour cream enchiladas. read more

We always go to this Chili's and been giving them another chance every time they took longer than expected in serving us. We understand that when it's busy, it's hard to accommodate everybody. This review is about the manager with her super bad customer service. We selected the $25 for Two menu and when we were ready to order the dessert the waitress told us "sorry we ran out of the skillet chocolate chip", we told her that we ordered that particular menu because of that dessert. She called the manager and she was super rude answering "sorry no substitutions". We explained to her it was their fault because they should have told us in advance and we would picked a different menu. We asked if she can give us another chocolate dessert (and by the way the difference in price was $.0.50) we even offer to pay the difference, but the manager in a very rude manner say again "sorry no substitutions, so you want your cheesecake for here or to go?" like it was a waste of her time. They really lost us and we were regulars and celebrate birthdays there... no more.. sorry they need to evaluate better their customer service. If they ran out of something, would not be fair to allow substitutions since they didn't disclose it at the beginning of the order? read more

On a Thursday night at 645 pm...Wait ended up being an hour with empty tables the whole time which obviously means not enough staff. Our server was ridiculous.Took our drink order and did not even ask if we would like an appetizer nor give us a moment to ask. When our drinks were delivered several minutes later he took our order and at that time ordered our chips and salsa...We had to flag him down TWICE to ask where our chips and salsa were. We only got one drink refill. When our food was delivered we had a to ask for more chips and salsa but never did get them. We used to be weekly regulars but had rolled it back to about once a month now it will be maybe once in 6 months. Lancaster chilis has become one of the worst restaurants with regard to service. read more

My wife and I, another couple, used to go to this Chili's at least twice a month, but no more. The food was usually good, not great, and we always had good service, but all that seem to have changed. The last three times we went we got cold food and slow service, friendly, but slow, except for the time they brought our food out 2 minutes after serving our appetizers. The Chili's at the Palmdale Mall is way better, but not worth the extra driving from Rosamond. Needless to say, we join the others that will not be dining here any longer. I brought my son and a party of 9 other people here on 6/2/16 to celebrate my son's high school graduation! Biggest mistake ever! Ruined the entire night. Waited an hour and a half for a table. A huge fight broke out and our order accidentally never got put in. Needless to say over 2 hours later and we still didn't even have appetizers. The first waiter was completely rude and took out his frustrations with those causing the fight on us. Had to get the manager involved. Roughly 10 tables just walked out workout paying in the chaos. We waited over 15 min with waitresses passing and serving tables near by with no help what so ever, no looking at us, no "I will be with you as soon as I can" horrible service!! We told front and she did not seem too concerned!!! Other people had drinks but, seemed really agitated and bored "Waiting!!!" Every time I go to this Chili's I am disappointed, there is only one waiter that I see that handles everything without being slow, he used to be in Palmdale. Every other time we get someone from the kitchen quit, the kitchen is behind blah blah bad service is all I know! We went last on December 14th and it literally took us an hour to get our food!!! The 2 stars is only for the kindness of the server and him being surprised about my food. Why is it that he was shockeck when I asked him to look at my BBQ Smokehouse bacon Burger. That's because the main ingredient (pattie) to a burger was missing as well as the BBQ sauce. He did apologies for about that and I know it wasn't his fault because he didn't see the food when it came out. Another guy brought it out. Did he not see the pattie missing?... well anyways when the food went back to the cook it took some time to come out. When it got back to me there was no bbq sauce and I asked the kind server to get me some. He got it right away. By the time this was all done my date finished eating. No I wasn't going to waste more of my precious time there to eat the food that was fucked up by there cook. I did pay it all and tipped my server for helping out and fixing the cooks mistake. I was going to ask the cook to come out and see if he could figure out what was wrong, but I didn't. I just ended up leaving with a too go box. read more

I have visited this place off and on for years, bottom line is it can be ok one visit and horrible the next. After this past visit on Tuesday night 15 May about 6 PM I will not rush to go again. Our waiter at table 43 was the worst, he only came by the table when we flagged him down. There where 7 of us, we ordered apps, there were no app plates on the table so we flagged him down for some and he brought 3 for 7 people. Had an empty drink glass for a while, had to flag him down for another alcohol drink. The whole dinner we kept having to flag him down for normal stuff that he should be checking on. At the end he left us hanging for about 20 minutes for the check so we decided to figure out how to pay on their stupid table computer. Needless to say he did not get our normal 20% tip. read more

I went for lunch on tuesday, which I mormally don't. My experiences with Chili's has never been extraordinary, but I thought why not, let's give it another try. Well I am glad I did. The decor is new and the service was very good, our order got forgotten but it wasnt too bad because we weren't in a hurry but the server Dana was very polite and gave us a free appitizer which just gave me and my best friend more time to talk. At the end of the meall she even came over and talked with us. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. I will definately be trying it again soon. read more

I experienced the WORST customer service at this location! I had a party of 16, and the waitress Alexis was very inefficient and rude and the manager came up with excuses for the horrible service. We waited an hour to be seated, then waited 2 hours for our food, which some meals came out cold. It took an hour to bring out our appetizers. We had to ask multiple times for utensils, we did not receive them until after we got our food and the forks were just thrown in the table, then when we asked for knives out waitress said she had to go search for some. Then another table sat near us and they received nicely wrapped utensils and their appetizers promptly. The manger said she didn't know it would be busy, rather than apologizing for all of the horrible service. On 10/1/15 my family & i went here for dinner, well that was the plan. When we got there we were seated and no one asked if we wanted drinks for about 20 mins or so. Then finally someone asked us. i think the drinks took a while too. When we finally got our waiter to take our order it took so long i forgot what i and even ordered. it was horrible service i suggested to my Dad that we should go to Bj's. And thats exactly what we did we paid for our drinks & the hostess said the food was coming out but that wasn't enough to make us stay. We took our business to Bj's which was a better environment. We got our drinks right away & service was how it should be. Don't bother going to this ghetto Chilis. Go to Bj's they won't let you down. read more
